May 2006 Celestial Timings

By Cayelin K Castell

"I am yesterday and tomorrow,
and have the power to regenerate myself...
the hitherto closed door is thrust open
and the radiance in my heart hath made it enduring.
I can walk in my new immortal body...
and go to the domain of the starry Gods.
Now I can speak in accents to which they listen
and my language is that of the star
Sirius."

Beltane marks the cross-quarter between Spring Equinox and Summer Solstice. The word Beltane means 'bright fire' or 'lucky fire' and in the Celtic seasonal year, Beltane celebrates the start of summer. In ancient traditions this was a time when all the fires were extinguished on the Eve of Beltane and new fires lit at Beltane sunrise. Often these fires were lit on the hills and in the Standing Stone Circles or Rings found on hilltops. These giant stones are acupuncture needles into the ley lines or meridians of the Earth grid. The Beltane Fires on the Hills are the beacons or points of fire that alchemically activate the energy of the Earth and the energy of ourselves. Astrological Beltane occurs around May 5 when the Sun reaches 15 degrees Taurus, marking the original Sabbat or High Holy Day. Many ancient Celtic traditions began their celebration of Beltane on the Full Moon or New Moon nearest astrological Beltane, and often the celebrations lasted until the next Full or New Moon over a two-week period.

A personal Beltane experience…

Two years ago sitting in the huge rock window high above Tucson, Arizona that gives Ventana Canyon its name (Ventana means Window in Spanish) I asked the Earth for a message. I received a clear and simple response. “Be Yourself.” I pondered this message for a long time and shared what came up for me in the May 2004 Celestial Timings. Recently I found myself returning to this message once again while sitting in the Shaman’s cave, not as high above Tucson, on a Crystal Mountain with another, though much smaller, rock window portal exactly two years to the day later.

As I invoked this memory in ceremonial space for the benefit of my friend and co-journeyer, who was sharing with me her current life questions, a bee flew around us and then landed on me as if to further emphasize the importance of Be-ing inspiring me to later research Bee medicine. What I found first and foremost had to do with the “busy bee” collecting pollen and producing honey (the sweetness of life) but I also found that many ancient cultures considered bees to be the messengers of the gods. … a messenger to the Great Mystery, bringing messages from higher realms of consciousness in dreams and visions. Bees also, according to scientists, are able to accomplish the aerodynamically impossible task of flying and I was reminded that our very existence is no less a miracle. More about Bees...

A few minutes later, during our ceremony in the cave, a vulture appeared before the cave entrance hanging briefly suspended in front of us before turning and gliding easily down the valley on the invisible air currents. Vulture medicine is intriguing because they soar through the skies mostly for the pure enjoyment and thrill of the experience. Vultures are masters of riding the air currents or thermals so they rarely use their own energy when they fly. Vultures are also known as the Golden Purifiers consuming death and turning it into life.

The contrast then between the vulture and the bee speaks to the various ways we have of Being who we are and all of them are valid and all of them have value.

Two years ago, I found myself realizing I didn’t know what it meant to really Be Myself! Growing up, I was directed, (sometimes with care and concern other times being admonished, scolded, shamed, and bullied) by parents, school, and culture, to be a certain way. The message was… Be nice, be good, be smart, be happy, be beautiful, be successful, be hard working, be strong, be compliant, and be accommodating of others. Don’t complain, don’t be lazy, don’t be selfish or self-centered, don’t pay any attention to your own wants and needs, don’t pay attention to your aches and pains. Ignore them. Ignore any feelings that are not happy, helpful, and compliant. Be more concerned with how others feel, and how your actions are affecting them. I also learned if I didn’t follow these rules I would be painfully punished and if I did follow the rules I had a better chance of avoiding the painful consequences. The rest of this particular programming was that if I could somehow prove myself in the process to be “good enough” according to these external standards – the rewards would be approval, acceptance, and validation. Never mind of course that I might be miserable and have no idea who I really am inside myself.

Two years ago I embraced a path of self-discovery to learn how to more fully be my authentic essential self beyond the rules of how I “should” or “should not” be. Now two years later I feel I am more myself than ever, and I also recognize I am still discovering more about being myself everyday. My guiding principles are love, joy, forgiveness, kindness toward myself and others, and fun, magical moments. I know I am on track when I am experiencing these elements in my life on a daily basis. It has been a long difficult and often treacherous road where every old belief, idea, and way of living that did not serve my essential self was stripped away oftentimes in excruciating fashion. However, it has been immensely worth every moment of the journey and I am enjoying Being Myself more than ever before and I know more is unfolding everyday.

Once again for those who feel called or resonant with this message it is timely for further consideration in this gloriously abundant season of Beltane originally intended as a celebration of our authentic Being - experiencing, savoring, and enjoying the abundance and Beauty of who we really are especially when we are living the message… Be Yourself!

(All the following events are generally around Pacific Standard Time unless otherwise noted.  Also all Timings mentioned are at least a three-day window, with the influence occurring for a minimum of the day before and after the date given. In many cases the influence may be felt longer, which is usually noted.)

May 1, Monday. May Day. Traditional Beltane. Moon is moving into Cancer crossing the center of the Sacred Hoop or the Great Shining Circle currently marking the June Solstice point in the sky. The June Solstice is a movable point taking 26,000 years to travel through all the ecliptic-based constellations. Currently this point is located at the place where the Milky Way and the Ecliptic intersect at the Galactic Anti-Center or Galactic Edge one of the main indicators of the current Turning of the Ages we are now experiencing. This suggests we are completing with what has been in our old vibrational code as we receive the galactic download and begin shifting into a whole new vibrational frequency. This vibrational shift is happening with or without us and is easier to assimilate when we pay attention to how we are engaging the incoming energies through what we think feel say and do reflecting and further energizing our personal vibrational signature. This is a great time to choose activities that facilitate self-forgiveness, self-care and self-love especially in this Beltane season when we are celebrating the abundant blessings of beauty, love, and pleasure available to us when we are open to receive them with gratitude and appreciation.

Note the waxing crescent Moon is setting at the Galactic Edge or Galactic Extreme in the Lunar Standstill Cycle just about 20 to 30 minutes before midnight depending on your horizon line. (See Lunar Standstill Article) Also the Moon is approaching Mars tonight and will be just beyond Mars tomorrow night.

May 2, Tuesday. Moon conjuncts Mars (11 Cancer) in near exact zodiacal alignment with the fixed star Sirius.   Sirius is zodiacally located at 14 Cancer though far below the ecliptic (the path the planets travel) it is the brightest fixed star in our sky and possibly visible low on the western horizon just after sunset in more southern latitudes. Mars will zodiacally conjunct Sirius within one degree May 5 - 11 reaching exact alignment May 7 and 8 in the window of the Grand Water Trine. (See May 4 and 7) This is a time to actively tune into the energies of Sirius as Mars passes by here only once every 26 months.

When the planets align with prominent stars it is as if we are receiving an invitation to know and experience more of their mysteries. Sirius has long captured the attention of many ancient cultures giving rise to varied myths that provide clues to the mysteries Sirius holds. In Iranian myth the star Tishtriya (Sirius) flew like an arrow to Lake Vurukasha, causing the centre of the lake to surge up and flood. The Sumerians, Babylonians, Egyptians, and Chinese all saw the stars now known as the constellations Argo and Canis Major (the constellation containing the fixed star Sirius) as a mythic bow and arrow with Sirius as either the tip of the arrow or the target. It is also interesting to note that the shaft in the Queen’s Chamber of the great pyramid pointed to Sirius, and it is this shaft that leads to the Secret Chamber within the Great Pyramid. http://www.diagnosis2012.co.uk/om4.htm#recap

Many temples and sacred sites are aligned to Sirius as well reminding us how important Sirius was to ancient people. So with the Moon and Mars activating this area of the sky tonight and Mars traveling through here for the next few nights it is worth tuning in for your own connection and message.

May 3, Wednesday. Moon moves into Leo and is visible just to the right of Saturn (5 Leo) above Castor and Pollux about 90 minutes after sunset. Venus moves into Aires until May 29. Mercury (26 Aries) is trine Pluto (26 Sagittarius). With all the fire signs covered in a very wide Grand Trine the transformational message (Mercury) of empowerment (Pluto) coming through today is about inspired committed action (Aries) valiantly promoting new forms (Saturn) of genuine Self-Forgiveness necessary for experiencing real radical Self-Love (Leo) and living the authentic truth (Sagittarius) of who we are. It might be helpful to note and affirm the process of self-forgiving in whatever way works for you. Here is a partial sharing of a developing forgiveness affirmation that may help inspire your own process of self-forgiveness. I have shared other parts of this through out the May Timings.

Invoking your divine essence in whatever works for you …God/dess, Great Mystery, Great Spirit, Source etc…this is one way to start…  Through the power of loving acceptance, with blessings, grace and guidance, - I know and feel myself fully and freely forgiven for all the harm I have ever thought or done. I forgive myself for all the ways I have not been fully present or fully myself at any time and have allowed fear to dictate my choices and actions. I forgive myself for believing family, friends, spiritual teachers, and significant others, know more about what I should or should not do to live a fulfilled life. I forgive myself for placing my power, to know myself and what my needs and desires are for living a magical life, outside myself. I now forgive myself for all this and all other ways I have not fully been my true self.

May 4, Thursday. This Leo First Quarter Moon (15 Leo) at the Cross-Quarter point is emphasizing the mysteries of self-love, self-worth, self-approval, and self-acceptance that are naturally and authentically generated from radical self-forgiveness. (See May 3) The Moon is also conjunct Saturn tonight visible in the sky directly overhead as the Sun sets. The Sun (14 Taurus) is opposite retrograde Jupiter (14 Scorpio) and there is a grand trine in water with Jupiter trine Uranus (14 Pisces) and Mars (12 Cancer) suggesting we have an opportunity to actively dissolve old collective hierarchical judgmental beliefs and standards that promote fear, competition and the false concept that we are not good enough just the way we are. Awakening humanity is remembering we all have a purpose that is valid and valuable and necessary to the unfolding divine plan. As the Hopi Elders remind us, “We are the ones we have been waiting for.” We are the Gods and Goddesses returning to co-create a golden age of love and beauty, and peace and plenty for all rapidly coming into form when we are actively forgiving ourselves and others.

I forgive myself for all the ways I have ever:

Betrayed myself, betrayed others or been betrayed by others
Hurt myself, hurt others, or been hurt by others
Abused myself, abused others or been abused by others
Wronged myself, wronged others, or been wronged by others
Punished myself, punished others, or been punished by others
Judged myself, judged others, or been judged by others
I forgive myself, I forgive myself, I forgive myself…

May 5, Friday. a.k.a. Cinco de Mayo, a day celebrated in remembrance of Mexico’s 1862 historic battle for freedom. Today is also exact Astrological Solar Beltane - the astrological cross-quarter when the Sun crosses 15 Taurus. This is an extraordinary timing that the ancient Celts celebrated as an in-between time when we can easily step into a magical co-creative alignment with the intended beauty, pleasure and abundance of Beltane. When we are celebrating life with joy and gratitude we are connected to the source of all life that abundantly provides for all our needs and desires. The more genuinely grateful we are the more abundance we attract. Supporting this timing is the move of Mercury into Taurus for the next 15 days before entering Gemini on May 20. Mercury symbolizes our mind, our style of thinking and communication, or said another way…through what archetypal lens we perceive our reality. Mercury in Taurus includes the art of aesthetics, beauty, intimacy, pleasure, enjoyment, and receivership. In the mystery school of Taurus one key to experiencing the joy of powerful life force energy is in the ability to receive, enjoy and savor the experience of Sacred Pleasure.

May 6, Saturday. The Moon moves into Virgo activating the mysteries of Spider Woman who weaves the web of life. Also today Venus conjuncts the North Node (4 Aries) suggesting an auspicious time for noting the web we are weaving for ourselves through out thoughts, words, and actions. Venus in Aries conjunct the North Node describes an opportunity to commit to action in alignment with your divine destiny. What kind of life are you committed to creating? What kind of inspired action are you willing to engage for the purpose of consciously weaving a web that draws to you all you need to fulfill your destiny?  Are you willingly and actively practicing self-forgiveness?

A Course in Miracles says, “There can be no form of suffering that fails to hide an unforgiving thought. Nor can there be a form of pain which forgiveness cannot heal.”

May 7, Sunday. Mars (14 Cancer) trine Jupiter (14 Scorpio) and Uranus (14 Pisces), Venus (5 Aries) trine Saturn (5 Leo) and Mercury (5 Taurus) Square Saturn (5 Leo). This Grand Water Trine and the trine of Venus and Saturn suggest a time for deep inner reflective meditation on self-care that originates from radical compassion and radical self-kindness. The message of Mercury Square Saturn says that it is time to restructure our reality through kindness, pleasure, self-love and self-forgiveness. Again, we cannot experience genuine self-love until we have fully forgiven ourselves. Here is more self-forgiveness focusing on forgiving ourselves for ways we may not engage in self-care.

I forgive myself for:

-Judging myself
-Not taking better care of myself, including eating foods I know are not good for me and adversely affect how I feel
-Eating too much or not enough
-Not exercising enough or not exercising at all
-For not resting and sleeping enough especially when I am tired
-For allowing myself to be in situations that hurt my feelings and how I feel about myself
-For not knowing my own needs and desires and
-For feeling angry that even when I do know what I need or desire I don’t always know how to support myself in receiving fulfillment of my needs or how to ask others to help support me in getting my needs met in ways that are healthy and loving.

May 8, Monday. Waxing Moon goes into Libra energizing the mysteries of social etiquette or good manners, teaching us that how we treat others is ultimately no different than how we treat ourselves. Kindness towards others is kindness towards self. The fine art of treating ourselves and others with genuine respect, kindness, sincerity, and dignity is a reflection of our own self-treatment. Here are some more affirmations that might inspire your own forgiveness process.

I forgive myself for:

Judging myself, being angry with myself, and punishing myself
Not being a better, smarter, kinder, more loving person
Believing I am not good enough the way I am
Believing that I am not worthy of healthy, loving, fun relationships.

May 9, Tuesday. Chiron stations retrograde (9 Aquarius 45 going direct on Oct 12, 2006 at 4 Aquarius 25) and we are encountering another fixed Grand Cross with Mercury (9 Taurus), Chiron (Aquarius), Saturn (5 Leo) and retrograde Jupiter (13 Scorpio). Mercury will move on over the next couple of days but the Grand Cross will continue to be activated each month when the Moon moves through Taurus for example on May 24 and 25, Jun 20 and 21, July 18 and 19, Aug 14 and 15 etc… The fixed signs of this Grand Cross, or signs of self-interest, are focused on developing personal aspects of divine expression. Taurus is learning about self through the experiences of pleasure, beauty, intimacy and the ability to receive itself and the fullest experience of life. Leo develops the qualities of radical, radiant self-love, self-confidence, self-acceptance, and self-approval from the perspective of knowing that it is a divine incarnation. Scorpio develops the qualities of divine Will as an individualized expression learning to manifest spirit into matter for an orgasmic ecstatic experience and Aquarius extends this to encompass the cosmic perspective and to revolutionize consciousness and awareness further evolving the divine essence within all life.

We can help facilitate the Shamanic Healing affect of Chiron going retrograde in its multi-dimensional exploration of the Aquarian mysteries within the context of this Grand Cross by supporting the changes that transform all our wounds through active self-forgiveness and the elixir of kindness especially the kindness we can extend to ourselves. Choosing radical revolutionary loving self-forgiveness and self-kindness every day continually transforms our personal and cosmic vibrational field providing greater conscious access to the divine source within us all. Thus, Chiron’s transit through Aquarius invites us to shamanically and vibrationally transform our world through calculated loving acts of revolutionary self-forgiveness and kindness!

I forgive myself for all the ways I have ever been unkind to myself or others.

May 10, Wednesday. Sun (20 Taurus) squares Neptune (20 Aquarius) well within the energy of the Grand Cross designed to catalyze personal transformational change by whatever means necessary. It is helpful to already be embracing change through the practice of self-forgiveness and kindness towards self and others. This timing alerts us to the dynamic interplay of Neptune’s relationship with the Sun and Neptune’s impending station retrograde on May 22. This is not a time for logical practical rational clarity but rather a time for intuitively attuning to innovative insights that revolutionize our in the moment experience.

I forgive myself for all the ways I have ever hated myself.

Mercury leaves the morning sky and begins a 17-day journey with the Sun before emerging as an evening star on May 27. Mercury will conjunct the Sun furthest away from the Earth on May 18 at 27 Taurus. This marks the psychopomp phase of the Mercury cycle. A psychopomp is a guide or conductor of souls to the other worlds. One way to engage this timing is by listening from the heart for the messages that Mercury is transmitting from the other worlds without expectation of how these messages might come forth.

May 11, Thursday. Moon in Scorpio and Mercury (13 Taurus) opposite retrograde Jupiter (13 Scorpio). The Scorpio Mysteries are considered occult mysteries meaning they became hidden or covered in order to survive in a world that mostly fears the potency of magical life force. What holds us back from examining our fears of passionately embracing and experiencing the fullest essence of life force energy in every moment? What fears keep us from acting upon our inspiration and heart’s desire? How can we embrace these fears while also choosing to take inspired action, pushing past the fear filled edges allowing the mysteries of ben/*eficial magic and manifestation to move through us? What ways can we actively forgive ourselves for these fears and love ourselves in ways that support us in releasing the fear or transforming the fear into empowered action?

I forgive myself for all the ways I have harmed myself or others because my actions were motivated by fear. I forgive myself for any fear that still runs my life and for not always knowing how to change that yet. I forgive myself for judging and/or rejecting my fear in ways that have harmed me or others.

May 12, Friday. Today is the Scorpio Full Moon (22 Scorpio) within the context of the still formulating Grand Cross. (See May 9) This is a timing that is quantitatively expanding the transformative shamanic mysteries of empowerment that come through embracing the shadow within ourselves.  The shadow in this context is all that we have denied or disowned in our lives and yet these things are operating unconsciously in all we think, feel, say, and do. When we embrace our shadow and bring it into our conscious awareness then transformation occurs empowering our life experience because we are no longer using all that energy to deny our essential essence. These shadow elements are often our greatest skills and abilities or our deepest fears including the fear of failure, the fear we are not good enough, and the fear that we will not be supported by life if we really show up in our authentic expression. This timing supports our willingness to let go, to surrender, and to die to these misconceptions that limit how we show up and accelerates the regeneration and rebirth process. Remember that the caterpillar must die to its “caterpillerness” and literally dissolves or dies to its old form, regenerates, transforms and is reborn as a magnificently empowered butterfly.

May 13, Saturday. The Moon moves into Sagittarius today and is visible approaching Antares tonight, conjuncting Antares during the day tomorrow and will have moved just beyond Antares tomorrow night. Antares is the heart of the Scorpio and one of the four royal stars of ancient times. De Traci Regula’s book The Mysteries of Isis, says: “Among the stars named after Isis is Antares, which was associated with Selkit, the scorpion goddess who was sometimes depicted in the Isian headdress. Antares was associated with Isis in the ceremonies conducted in conjunction with the great pyramid complex at Giza, where she bore the special title of ‘Lady of the Pyramids’.” These great Pyramids are specially designed initiation chambers oriented to access the mysteries of the heavens and ground them on the Earth. Antares is a stargate portal accessing the transformative energies of the oracle. Michael Smulkis and Fred Rubenfeld authors of Starlight Elixirs and Cosmic Vibrational Healing http://hilarion.com/stars.html say, “Antares influences the place just before choice…If you attune to this in anyway, asking with love in your heart for the higher path to be shown, so it will be. The opportunities for this may come forth in ways that were perhaps unexpected.”

May 14, Sunday. Happy Mother’s Day! Mercury (19 Taurus) squares Neptune (19 Aquarius). The message of this timing is in part about the power forgiveness has in creating the space for fully experiencing love, intimacy, pleasure and enjoyment. Through the power and grace of forgiveness, forgiving the unforgivable, forgiving self and others, love is liberated and with that release - freedom, peace, power and new life is available creating peace, enjoyment and pleasure. Hannah Arendt (1906-75), German-born American political philosopher, writer, and educator reminds us: “Forgiveness is the key to action and freedom”.

May 15, Monday. The Moon conjuncts Pluto (26 Sagittarius) and moves into Capricorn across Galactic Center or Hunab Ku as described by the Mayans. The Mayans considered Hunab Ku to be the ultimate creator and conscious principle that organizes all matter in the manifest creation. The Mayas also felt that Hunab Ku or Galactic Center constantly gives birth to new stars and planets as well as being the portal or gateway to other galaxies beyond ours and that everything that happens in our Galaxy comes from the center through cyclical energy waves or bursts. Scientists are now concluding that Galactic Center is not only consuming huge amounts of matter but it is also giving birth to stars etc. as well. http://www.aztlan.net/rumblings_center_galaxy.htm

Remarkably this is the year of Pluto’s exact alignment with the galactic core (for the first time in 248 years) and this year is the center point of the Moon’s 19-year lunar extreme. This means the Moon is passing furthest south of the ecliptic while in Sagittarius and Capricorn in its 19-year cycle causing it to actually cross directly over galactic center once each month for all of 2006 and 2007.  When we consider how the center of the galaxy influences our evolutionary experience in general and then we add Pluto’s alignment in the time of the Lunar Standstill along with the Sun’s passage here at the December Solstice (something that can only happen for a period of time during a 26,000 year cycle) we know there is a huge activation occurring in the harmonic calibration of our galactic source through our space-time-grid experience. (See May 16)

May 16, Tuesday. Still feeling the effects of the Moon’s passage by Pluto and over Galactic Center yesterday and the Moon’s continued journey through the constellation of the Archer today it may be helpful to note our experience as the Archer points directly at the center of our Galaxy. Jay Weidner and Vincent Bridges speak about the galactic super wave or the galactic energy bursts that were mentioned in yesterday’s Timings in their book The Mysteries of the Great Cross of Hendaye – Alchemy and the End of Time. They say; “The galactic superwave, composed of superhot cosmic-ray particles traveling at close to the speed of light, would appear from Earth as a brilliant blue-white spot of light – about the size of Mars – in Sagittarius (the constellation we refer to as the Archer that is now overlaid with the sign or season of Capricorn), surrounded by a slightly larger and less bright halo. This source, perhaps as much as a thousand times brighter than any star, would be visible even in daylight”.

http://www.sangraal.com/AMET/index.html http://www.diagnosis2012.co.uk/5.htm

Myths from around the world are encoded with astronomical information about planetary cycles, disasters, and other shifts in the heavens such as Zeus (Jupiter) overthrowing his father (Saturn) describing when Jupiter catches up to Saturn every 20 years, or the story of Inanna’s descent into the underworld describing the cycle of Venus and the story of Sekhmet (the eye or Ra, the Sun God) scorching the Earth with her fury. Interestingly, there is also a Hopi legend that speaks of the Blue Star Spirit or Blue Star Kachina that might also be describing the galactic pulse or superwave coming from the core of our galaxy in regular intervals at least every 26,000 years.

http://www.etheric.com/LaViolette/Disinformation.html

We are going through the End of Time, as we know it and entering the Beginning of a New Time in ways that we haven’t yet imagined. Tuning into the Moon’s location tonight and meditating on the process of self-forgiveness - including forgiving ourselves for any fear we might have about this ending time – is a great way to take positive action toward embracing whatever fears may emerge around what might feel like apocalyptic endings and beginnings.

I forgive myself for fearing the end of my world as I know it and for being attached to life looking and being the way I am imaging it should be.

May 17, Wednesday. Today the Sun (27 Taurus) is approaching its annual zodiacal alignment with the Pleiades stargate (29 Taurus) and will be exact May 20. Mythically, the Pleiades are often described as a stargate or doorway home. May 20 is exactly 60 days after the Spring Equinox when the Sun passes its Solar Zenith at the pyramid Kukulkan near Chichen Itza a time that the Mayans referred to as “the days of no shadows”. John Major Jenkins author of the Maya Cosmogenesis 2012 http://Alignment2012.com indicates that the pyramid Kukulcan, (a.k.a. Quetzalcoatl, the plumed serpent) tracks the Sun-Pleiades-Zenith conjunction. The Crotalus rattlesnake found repeatedly in Meso-American art resembles the Mayan glyph for the Sun ‘Ahau’ (pronounced Ah-how) and relates to the flow of time, the flow of consciousness through the seasons of life as they end and begin again. The rattle of the snake was called ‘tzab’ the Mayan word for the Pleiades. http://www.diagnosis2012.co.uk/5.htm#kukulcan This Sun-Pleiades-Zenith alignment is occurring during a 72-year window, from 1976 to 2048 with the well known date of 2012 at the center. Interestingly and highly synchronistically, on May 20, 2012, the Sun-Pleiades-Zenith passage features a solar eclipse meaning the Pleiades, Sun, Moon, and Earth and are all aligned. The implications of this event are worth pondering as we approach that date. Meanwhile the Sun is a catalyst or key further unlocking the Pleiadian stargate each year when the Sun and Pleiades join together at the zenith.  (See May 20)

May 18, Thursday. The Sun conjuncts Mercury (28 Taurus) near the Pleiades. (See May 17) In addition to the approaching Sun-Pleiades-Zenith alignment on May 20 Mercury and the Sun are aligning to illuminate messages from this stargate. Mercury is in its psychopomp phase gaining further knowing from the Sun. (See May 10) Remembering to tune into the power forgiveness has in creating the space for fully experiencing love, intimacy, pleasure and enjoyment of the now is especially timely remembering the power and grace of forgiveness, forgiving the unforgivable, forgiving self and others, love is liberated.

May 19, Friday. Mercury moves into Gemini where it remains until June 03. Mercury is most at home in Gemini taking us beyond rational, linear logic, while also creatively expressing humor as a great teacher and healer. The Moon conjuncts Neptune (19 Aquarius 49) enhancing our imaginative dreaming energy connected to “the field of all possibilities” where we can create any reality we choose when we step outside the box of ordinary thinking. This is a great time to dream our biggest dreams as we are all helping to dream the dream of the emerging reality coming forth at this Turning of the Ages.

May 20, Saturday. The Aquarius Last Quarter Moon (29 Aquarius) in this time of “the days of no shadows” with the Sun activating the Pleiades stargate (see May 16, 17 and 18) operating outside ordinary time suggests we have a unique opportunity to further energize a new planetary vibrational grid supporting the Aquarian dispensation that says “all human beings should have the freedom to take responsibility for their own evolutionary path.” (~Daniel Giamario The Shamanic Astrology Handbook) When this understanding becomes a part of our true heart-knowing then all forms of class, caste and hierarchy vanish and we operate from the Aquarian ideals where each person has the right to freely be who they are when they are willing to take responsibility for their own life experience.

More on the Pleiades Star Gate… In the book, The Peacemaker and The New Key of Life, William Henry says “Most of this lore centers around the Mother symbol of the dove (the Pleiades being the home of the Dove-goddesses, or Hathors) who guarded the ‘gate’ to the central point of heaven, Tula.” He goes on to say, “Understanding the Pleiades as the star gate to Tula explains why in many religious traditions the soul transforms into a dove at death...” Tula represents Heaven on Earth, Shambala, and/or the New Jerusalem. Many cultures recognize that doves carry the medicine of Love. Doves are monogamous by nature and very loving towards their mates often spending hours running their beaks through each other’s feathers. Males feed the females with the choicest food. Doves are messengers of spirit providing communication between worlds, and bringing messages of peace, love, understanding and gentleness. The Pleiadian stargate is further unlocked by the Sun conjunction at the zenith each year and is accessible to us when we approach it with love and gratitude.

May 21, Sunday. The Sun moves into Gemini early this morning or late last night depending on your time zone and the Moon is also occulting Uranus (14 Pisces) though not visible from the Earth without a telescope. This is a timing that indicates exploring and experiencing new territory as the old forms are breaking down. Uranus often brings change in sudden and unexpected ways, breaking down the old limiting beliefs, the old assemblage point, breaking through to new perspectives, insights and understanding. Sometimes a person can get stuck in the breakdown by holding on and resisting the changes now possible thereby missing the breakthrough. It helps to go with the flow and note the messages of change that are innovative, brilliant, cutting edge, and liberating.

May 22, Monday. Neptune Stations Retrograde (19 Aquarius 49) and Mercury (6 Gemini) Sextiles Saturn (6 Leo) and Moon moves into Aries reaching perigee or its closets approach to Earth in this lunar cycle. Which is commonly experienced as the time of the highest tides of the month. More about Moon and Tides Neptune remains retrograde until Oct 29 when it stations direct at 17Aquarius02. If you have natal planets or angles between these degrees in fixed signs (Scorpio, Taurus, Aquarius and Leo) then you are on the front lines with this Neptune process. It helps to remember that it is okay to feel confused, to have no idea where you’re going, to have no idea what the next step is, to be in the unknown. This is a time for dreaming and visioning giving the incoming visions space and recognition without necessarily acting upon them until you feel clarity from your inner guidance. The inner incubation time is important and knowing when to intuitively act is a part of the Neptunian process. Even projects already in motion may benefit from quiet reflection releasing attachments to specific pictures or outcomes and allowing for the possibility of even greater expression to unfold.

I forgive myself for not knowing, feeling confused, and uncertain. I forgive myself for thinking I should know.

May 23, Tuesday. Venus (23 Aries) squares Mars (23 Cancer) and Moon conjuncts Venus at the 4th gate. About an hour before sunrise this morning a waning Balsamic Moon in Aries is visible as a tiny crescent just to the right of Venus. Venus is the jewel of the sky once known by ancient astrologers as the morning star and the evening star.  This Venus Moon conjunction marks the passage of Venus as the morning star through the 4th gate (the gate of compassion) into the underworld connected to the heart Chakra. In the story of Inanna this is where she releases her breastplate symbolizing all the ways she has guarded and protected her heart. At this Gate she willingly releases all the ways she no longer loves herself or her life. This is a powerful opportunity for her to truly open herself to the healing wisdom of her heart through self-forgiveness.

I fully and freely forgive myself for whatever ways I have not loved myself, been kind to myself, valued myself, cared about my self, or recognized and used my gifts, talents, skills, and abilities for my benefit or the benefit of others.

May 24, Wednesday. Moon is entering Taurus this afternoon emphasizing the mysteries that remind us of the importance of taking time to savor, enjoy and appreciate the beauty and abundance in our world as the first step in raising our personal energy for the purpose of experiencing greater synchronicity and support in living our divine destiny.

Week of May 25 to June 1 The Gemini New Moon window begins May 25, is exact May 26, and ends May 27.  This is because our direct visual experience of any Moon phase lasts for three days. For example, visually the Full Moon rises appearing very full the night before, the night of, and the night after the exact Full Moon. Based upon this experience the Celestial Timings now reflect this three-day window around the four main phases of the Moon. There is no visual experience of the New Moon because it is the dark of the Moon when the Moon is traveling with the Sun. There may be the smallest tiny crescent Moon visible the day before the New Moon just before Sunrise or the day after for a brief time just after Sunset. Around the time it is exact there is no Moon visible at all because the Moon is lost in the glow of the Sun. That is why the New Moon is the seed planting time. New Moons are conception points or seeding points for clearly stating our intentions and/or prayers around our heart’s desires allowing them an opportunity to find their most beneficial and supportive manifestation without attachment to the outcome.

May 25, Thursday. Venus (26 Aries) trines Pluto (26 Sagittarius) accelerating the process of deep inner reflection for the purpose of empowering her ability to show up authentically before taking further decisive action. This challenges the Aries warrior expression of the feminine whose nature is to act spontaneously and decisively in the moment. However now is the time to step back for a few moments to deeply feel into what is unfolding before responding.

May 26, Friday. Tonight or early tomorrow morning is the exact Gemini New Moon (5 Gemini 48) depending on your time zone and Mercury (15 Gemini) is square Uranus (15 Pisces). The New Moon and Mercury are inside the Sacred Hoop near the fixed star Aldebaran, the eye of the Bull just beyond the Pleiades. In some cultures Aldebaran was considered the all-seeing “eye of god” and has associations with the restoration of the original perfection of the Earth. The supportive energies of Aldebaran are available when we approach its mysteries with integrity, honor and purity of intent. According to Starlight Elixirs and Cosmic Vibrational Healing by Michael Smulkis and Fred Rubenfeld http://hilarion.com/stars.html Aldebaran is linked with the original genetic coding that allowed for the experience of free will here on planet Earth and can help us in co-creating the experience of Heaven on Earth. The Moon is a transmitter illuminating these mysteries and how we can more consciously engage them. This New Moon seeding point can be used with an intent to restore the purity and perfection of our hearts through self-forgiveness.

I forgive myself for all the ways I have not allowed myself to have fun and to truly enjoy my moment-to- moment experience.

May 27, Saturday. Moon conjuncts Mercury (17 Gemini) and the Sun (7 Gemini) sextiles Saturn (7 Leo). The waxing crescent new Moon sitting beside Mercury may be visible (best seen with binoculars) very low on the western horizon about 40 minutes after Sunset. Tomorrow night the Moon will set at its Northern most extreme as it crosses the Galactic Edge or Galactic Extreme. (See Lunar Standstill Article and May 1) The message coming through now is about self-forgiveness designed to help us to create new forms of living in love and joy.

The Course In Miracles says:

Not only can we forgive everyone (including ourselves), but also we MUST forgive everyone if we’re to find peace, health, and happiness. Those who don’t forgive keep attracting the same types of painful relationships over and over.

May 28, Sunday. Mercury (19 Gemini) trines Neptune (19 Aquarius) Moon crosses the Galactic Gateway into Cancer at the center of sacred hoop. Currently, the alignment of the Solstices with the Milky Way Band and the ecliptic is activating and unlocking our DNA codes and intensifying our personal transformative processes creating new pathways and possibilities. This process is accelerated when we visit sacred sites.

Hunbatz Men, a modern Mayan Daykeeper, says visiting sacred sites activates our DNA codes and strengthens our energy bodies for the coming transition at the end of the Great Cycle.

May 29, Monday. Venus moves into Taurus traveling through this domain until June 23. This is the archetypal domain of Aphrodite, Goddess of Love and Beauty, who mastered the art of receivership, receiving, savoring, and fully enjoying the gifts of life and love. In a culture that teaches it is more blessed to give than receive, the art of receivership is usually misunderstood as selfish, materialistic, and/or it obligates us to the giver because there is a feeling of owing something. Giving and Receiving are equally important. True giving is done without strings attached and true receivership occurs when we can fully receive the gifts offered with genuine gratitude and appreciation beyond the concept of obligation. This is a vastly different energy from those who are “takers” devoid of any real gratitude or appreciation. Giving and Receiving are a natural part of the life force current or circuitry. True giving and receiving comes from a place of love without any expectations or obligations. Practicing the sacred art of true receivership is challenging, as there are few if any truly healthy models in our culture. Practicing daily prayers of gratitude and opening to receive the gifts others have to offer assists us in balancing the flow of giving and receiving in healthy ways.

May 30, Tuesday. Moon conjuncts Mars (28 Cancer) late tonight just beyond the Sacred Hoop as both Moon and Mars are approaching Saturn with the Moon passing by here tomorrow night. Mars now 10 degrees away from Saturn is catching up mid-June. The active Mars force is now questing for self-care (Cancer) and self-love (Leo) as its primary focus. The accomplishment of both comes when we are tuning into our inner knowing and asking how to achieve them. As James Redfield reminds us in both The Celestine Prophecy book and the new movie it is important to ask the questions because if we aren’t asking we aren’t as receptive to receiving the answers. The Celestine Prophecy says:

You see, the problem in life isn’t in receiving answers. The problem is in identifying your current questions. Once you get the questions right, the answers always come…. Let your perception of beauty and iridescence lead your way. Places and people who have answers for you will appear more luminous and attractive.

May 31, Wednesday. Moon has moved into Leo and is conjunct Saturn and Mercury is opposite Pluto. Transformational messenger Mercury (26 Gemini) opposes shamanic transformer Pluto (26 Sag) diving deep into the fears that limit our fullest most empowered and loving expression of who we are. Pluto also dives deep to discover the strengths and abilities that are still unconscious and brings them forth often through experiences that challenge and test us by stretching us beyond our comfort zones. This timing provides an opportunity to deepen and intensify our mental experience of the emerging truth of this time. When we consciously engage this transformative process then a new level of empowerment comes on-line clearly communicating more of who we truly are in our radiant and shining divine expression now being reformulated through Saturn and further illuminated and transmitted by the Moon especially when we are forgiving ourselves and others. Self-forgiveness is a key practice quickly facilitating greater self-love.

I forgive myself for all the ways I have not yet remembered to forgive myself!!!
