December 2006 Celestial Timings
by Cayelin K Castell

…the Sky itself was the scene of the cosmic mythos.
The sacred Mysteries were only reflections
of what occurred in that part of infinite Space visible to human beings.
To make the cosmic ritual of planets and stars
and of the two Lights (Sun and Moon) experienceable,
so that human beings could identify and ’feel’ themselves with its cyclic events,
the Mysteries were founded.
Astrology, when used at the level of the individual person,
is actually a particular application of the Mystery concept...
~Dane Rudhyar The Astrology of Transformation, A Multilevel Approach

“To study the stars is a sacred duty
for the wisdom of the universe is contained within them.”
The Lineage Codes Of Light by Jessie E. Anyani

What Dane Rudhyar is describing is what I like to call the As Above, So Below Mysteries. Our attunement to the Celestial Realms helps to further develop our relationship with these mysteries. This is intended to be a relationship or partnership where we have an opportunity to inform as well as be informed. In Shamanic Astrology much of our study of the stars and planets and other celestial beings comes in large part from taking time to have our own direct experience, to visually and experientially be with the movements of the planets through the backdrop of the stars. When we are taking time to connect with these mysteries we are greatly blessed with unique insights, inspiration and wisdom that assists us in navigating through life.

Having a deep and meaningful relationship with the sky does not require scientific astronomical or even astrological study. Rather this is about the kind of learning that includes inner reflection and listening from a deep intuitive space. Left-brained linear study is clearly helpful in understanding cyclical movements of the planets through our sky and their impact on us. However it is important to balance both the left and right-brained process, something Shamanic Astrology brilliantly provides.

The Celestial Timings offer minimal left-brained information, designed to assist you in your intuitive investigation and growing relationship with these mysteries. These daily offerings suggest one of many possible intents or results of any given Celestial Event. These suggestions are intended to inspire your own connection with what these mysteries mean to you.

Knowing where the planets and angles were at the time of your birth can help you to know how any particular planetary or cosmological event is activating you personally. When we know what cycles we are in and understand the intent of the cycle it provides guidance for how we can best participate with the intended transformation any given initiation is bringing. Plus, when we are not limiting our experience through preconceived ideas or expectations then it is easier to stay open and not be disappointed if events turn out differently (and in the end often better) than we imagined. When a person consciously participates with their initiation cycles it isn’t necessarily easier to go through but understanding the intent is immensely helpful, providing space and support for what is unfolding.

Shamanic Astrology readings provide in-depth insight into an archetypal view of our soul’s purpose. It also includes helpful guidance around what initiation cycles a person is experiencing, how they work, and what area of their life is being affected and how to more consciously participate with the intent. (See Readings on the Celestaial Timimgs Website for information about year-end reading special)

The Celestial Timings provide additional support and information for this on-going cyclical process with reminders that can help affirm and confirm what we already know thus sharpening our intuition and our connection with great mystery.

This month features several significant events including:

Venus rises from the underworld on Dec 6 at 24 Sagittarius less than 2 degrees away from Pluto (26 Sagittarius) around the time Mercury has passed beyond the shadow of its retrograde degree.
On December 10, Mercury, Mars and Jupiter rise together in a one-degree field about 70 to 75 minutes before Sunrise. See Article
Mars is passing through Ophiuchus and the Archer emerging ESE in the predawn sky December 10.
Jupiter is also moving through Ophiuchus and the Archer emerging low in the SE before dawn on Dec 10.
Mars and Jupiter overtake Antares three weeks apart in the morning sky in late December and early January.
Saturn is close to the fixed star Regulus, the heart of the Lion, rising late evening around 10 pm. Every night Saturn rises about 4 minutes earlier than the night before reaching opposition to the Sun by Feb 10. Saturn stations retrograde on Dec 5

Constellations worth noting: In early December by about 10 pm the Pleiades are high overhead and Orion completes his ascent over the Eastern horizon. In late December Betelgeuse, red/orange star marking the shoulder of Orion to the left of Orion’s belt, is rising around 8 pm local time. Castor and Pollux, the brightest stars of the Twins are to the left of Orion. Around 9 pm, Procyon and Sirius rise nearly at the same time in the east. Betelgeuse, Procyon and Sirius form a huge equilateral triangle also known as Heaven’s Gate and the Milky Way passes through this triangle.

Meteor Showers
Sigma Hydrids Dec 03 - Dec 15…peak on Dec 12
Geminids Dec 07 - Dec 17…peak on Dec 14 The waning crescent Moon will hardly interfere with the view of the Geminid meteor shower. Look for the bright constellation Orion and the pair of bright stars Castor and Pollux above and left of it—meteors will radiate from that part of the sky. This year, the shower will peak near dawn, when an observer in a dark location might see 100 moderately fast meteors per hour.
Coma Berenicids Dec 12 - Jan 23…peak on Dec 20
Ursids Dec 17 - Dec 26…peak on Dec 22

December Celestial Timings

Reminder: These Celestial Influences are felt for at least three days, the day before, the day of and the day after. When Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are involved the effect can last for several months. The dates of the exact aspects are the ones we use ceremonially and are often especially catalytic days in the longer cycle.

Dec 1, Friday. This month opens with Venus (18 Sag), Mars (27 Scorpio) and Jupiter (2 Sag) all still in the underworld, meaning they are traveling within 10 to 15 degrees of the Sun (9 Sag near Antares). Mercury is at 21 Scorpio moving beyond the degrees of the retrograde on Dec 6 at 25 Scorpio and joining with Mars and Jupiter in Sag on December 10 in the closest morning star appearance of three planets until 2029. This means we are still being asked to release our attachments to outcome or things being a certain way. These attachments are the same as making demands and when those demands are not met to our satisfaction then frustration, disappointment, and anger are the natural result. If we can shift the demands to preferences then we are freer and more open to other possibilities that may even be better than what we had originally imagined. Plus, when we release attachments to results it reduces huge amounts of stress greatly improving our health and well being.

Dec 2, Saturday. Sun (11 Sag) squares Uranus (11 Pisces) today indicating Uranus is picking up speed since its direct station last month. These energies illuminate ideas and information that challenge the accepted status quo often manifesting through surprises and/or reversals that challenge our perception of what is real. When this occurs it is an assemblage point shift or a shift around the core beliefs and attitudes that organize our experience of reality. When we allow for all the possibilities and ways of being, especially the ones that are radically unconventional and cosmically inspired, our relative world expands producing liberating experiences of evolutionary growth.

Dec 3, Sunday. Moon moves into Gemini opening Full Moon window and illuminating the mysteries that take us beyond ordinary reality, beyond the limiting rules of this dimension, beyond rational and linear thought processes. This is the domain of the coyote trickster who encourages us to let go of pre-conceived ideas and beliefs and reminds us things are not as real as they appear. Passing through the Sacred Hoop over the next few days the Moon will have moved just beyond Aldebaran the eye of the Bull, by Full Moon rise tomorrow. In some cultures Aldebaran was considered the all-seeing “eye of god” and has associations with the restoration of the original perfection of the Earth. This is a great time to tune in and ask for restoration - through remembrance - of the divinity that we are and the purity and perfection of our hearts.

Dec 4, Monday. The Lunar Standstill Gemini Full Moon (13 Gemini) is a time of maximum intensity if we have egoic attachments to life being a certain way. We are being reminded to not take ourselves too seriously while also taking time to creatively find ways to have fun. If what you are doing is not fun, is there a way to make it fun, or is it time to do something else that is fun? With Mercury (25 Scorpio – this was the degree Mercury Stationed Retrograde in October) also squaring Saturn (25 Leo – this is the degree Saturn is stationing retrograde at tomorrow) now this question becomes even timelier.

We are being called to deeply and passionately love ourselves and all that we are doing. If what we do, and how we are, does not bring us joy and a sense of fulfillment then it is time to look at redesigning our lives. Simply choosing at least one activity a day that brings us joy and a feeling of gratitude for the experience is enough to shift our vibrational field to begin attracting more joyful and fulfilling experiences. Simple things like watching the Sunset or Moon rise or spending meaningful time with a family member, friend or any significant other, enjoyable exercise, fresh air, being in nature, taking time to meditate, dance, play, laugh, sing, etc… Whatever increases our joy increases the power of our vibrational field to bring us more and more loving, joyfully abundant experiences.

Tonight and for the next two nights the Moon will be rising closest to its maximum northern extreme with tomorrow night being most precise. For those who are lucky enough to be near Chimney Rock in Colorado this is the time when the Full Moon rises between the chimneys - a rare event that only happens in the 19 year Lunar cycle. Dec 5, Tuesday. The still nearly full Lunar Standstill Moon is crossing the center point of the Galactic Edge as it moves into Cancer. This is what is referred to as the ‘out of bounds’ Moon and it is transmitting energies from beyond our galactic realm. This suggests we are receiving a whole new download of inter-galactic information and vibrational frequency that is beyond the bounds of our ordinary reality. Greater ease in assimilating these energies occurs when we consciously engage our thoughts and actions releasing attachment to results and limiting beliefs about who we are. (More on the Lunar Standstill http://www.celestialtimings.com/articles/LunarStandstill2006-2007.html http://www.shamanicastrology.com/articles04.htm

Saturn stations retrograde (25 Leo) today until April 19 when it stations direct at 18 Leo. The next few months Saturn is diving deep into the inner Leo realms of self-love, self-forgiveness, self-acceptance, and self-approval that all lead to a greater experience of self-confidence in expressing the divinity that we truly are. Practicing daily self-forgiveness as well as self-acceptance and self-approval strengthens our ability to love ourselves. It might be helpful to start a self approval/acceptance list. One suggestion is to start out with: I totally and completely love and accept myself just as I am right now. Then make a list of things you find difficult to accept about yourself and preface them by saying I love and accept myself and I accept how I feel right now about______(this is where we fill in the blank with things about our work, school, family, friends, health, projects, spiritual endeavors or lack of them, fears, hopes, dreams, seeming lack of direction, ability to accept and roll with life events etc…) Then be sure to follow that with what you feel good about and grateful for and to include gratitude for things that you are desiring, but are not yet manifest, as if they are already a reality in your world. This helps to reprogram our personal experience by focusing on acceptance, approval and love for who we experience ourselves to be now while also opening the space for remembering and experiencing who we truly are.

Mars moves into Sagittarius until Jan 16, 2007 further activating the spiritual quest expanding our truth and knowing that began last month when Jupiter entered Sagittarius. Mars will catch up to Jupiter and Mercury on Dec 10 when they rise up together in the morning sky.

Dec 6, Wednesday. Venus (25 Sag) is technically rising up from the underworld as an evening star tonight and may be visible after Sunset with a low horizon line. Venus is also synchronistically trining retrograde Saturn (25 Leo). This represents a remarkable rebirth for Venus since she descended into the underworld last September Equinox. Venus will re-enter Capricorn where she began her journey last January on Dec 11, meeting with the Moon on Dec 20 symbolizing the recovery of her life force energy. Today Venus celebrates the completion of her initiation and begins the process of integrating her experience and finding new expressions for the truth and wisdom of her being.

Dec 7, Thursday. Venus (26 Sag) conjuncts Pluto (26 Sag) near Galactic Center. The newly arisen evening star Venus, just up from the underworld as of yesterday, is meeting with the underworld Shamanic Initiator Pluto. Pluto’s job is to call out the shadow from the depths of our personal and collective fears bringing them fully into our awareness and experience. When we are willing to engage Pluto’s alchemical process then it is our courage to transform that guides us.

Messenger Mercury also moves into Sagittarius today where it remains until Dec 27. Mercury’s message now, if we are open to exploring it, emphasizes the truth of who we are. We experience the truth of our reality based upon our beliefs and as our beliefs change so does our experience. So what then exactly is the truth? What was true yesterday may no longer be true today, and today’s truth may not be true tomorrow. It seems then that it is the truth behind the seeming truth of our experience that is ultimately worth pondering.
Truth only reveals itself when one gives up all preconceived ideas. ~Shoseki

Dec 8, Friday. Moon moves into Leo today inspiring remembrance of golden ages past, when the Shining Ones walked in balance and harmony with the Earth. There was peace and plenty for all. These ancient memories as remembered in our myths and legends are a time many of us long for in our deepest heart’s desire. Here we are! We have come again at this time during this Turning Of The Ages to co-create a new Golden Age through our willingness to envision, remember and imagine what it feels like to live in such a glorious time. We know this is true because the Hopi Elders remind us, “We are the ones we have been waiting for!” Lunar Standstill Article

Dec 9, Saturday. Today is the feast day of Juan Diego. He is the one Our Lady of Guadalupe appeared to requesting a temple be built in honor of her on Tepeyec hill outside Mexico City (See Dec 12). Sun (17 Sag) sextiles Neptune (17 Aquarius) and Mercury conjuncts Mars (2 Sag) just before their heliacal rise (before the Sun) tomorrow morning in the closest visible conjunction until 2029. As the Sun is lighting up the Neptunian field of all possibilities and Mercury is informing Mars of his next steps as he rises up from the underworld this a time to celebrate the emergence of a renewed masculine principle having survived the four month underworld journey. While traveling with the Sun, Mars met with his beloved Venus in Sacred Union, and they were joined and witnessed by Jupiter and Mercury. Then Venus rose into the evening sky Dec 6 and Mars is rising in the morning sky tomorrow morning as both are being birthed from their underworld initiation beginning the process of integrating the potency of their union when they were in direct contact with Source (symbolized by the Sun).

Dec 10, Sunday. Moon in Virgo (see Dec 12). This morning features the heliacal rise of Mars (3Sag00), Mercury (3Sag17), and Jupiter (3Sag36) meaning they are rising before dawn (around 6:00 am to 6:10 am depending on your horizon line) within a field of 1.1 degrees from each other - the tightest or closest alignment since 1971. This type of close alignment will not occur again until 2029. For those who enjoy watching Sunrise or Moonrise or have had the opportunity to watch Stars or Planets rise this is a thrilling opportunity to see three planets coming up over the horizon nearly at the same time. In the Shamanic Astrology world the direct experience of celestial events are highly significant and provide us with opportunities to receive direct information, transmissions, or downloads on a cellular level from the individual planets themselves whether we are able to visually witness the event or not. This is a time for expanding our spiritual quest and what it truly means to us in a personal way. (Dec Article http://www.celestialtimings.com/articles/Dec2006and2007GalacticCenterTransmissions.html

Dec 11, Monday. Mars conjuncts Jupiter (4 Sag) exactly and again they will rise close together with Mercury nearby. Also evening star Venus, possibly visible low on the western horizon after Sunset, moved into Capricorn either late last night or early this morning. This means Venus is crossing the December Solstice marker currently aligned with the intersection point of the Milky Way Galaxy and the ecliptic (the path the planets travel) near Galactic Center or Hunab Ku as described by the Mayans. Hunab Ku is the source of conscious energy that manifests the rhythm and form of our universe. For one time period in 26,000 years the December Solstice aligns near Galactic Center energizing ancient/future forgotten knowledge within the DNA (or Hunab Ku) of our own genetic structure. As we approach this Solstice window the newly risen and reborn Goddess Venus is receiving a direct download from Hunab Ku and the Galactic Core.

“Hunab K'u, who can see and understand everything, knows that the time for the great change has come. The word for us to return to the ancient temples has been received from the cosmos. It is here and now that the Great Spirit is beginning to call us back to the magnetic sites. The incarnated Masters are beginning to raise their voice of knowledge in the ancient sites so their teachings can be heard. It is in the ancient sites that the cosmic word to attain wisdom in a gradual manner has been received.” http://www.adishakti.org/prophecies/prophecy_26.htm

Dec 12, Tuesday. 12/12 and the feast of day of Our Lady of Guadalupe (for more on the magical story of Guadalupe http://www.rimjournal.com/arizyson/guadalup.htm http://www.geocities.com/franciscanhistory/OLOG.html) Synchronistically, the Virgo Last Quarter Moon (21 Virgo) has strong archetypal links to Our Lady of Guadalupe. When healthy, Virgo is dedicated to expressing reverence through the sacred ceremonial honoring of all life. The Virgo last quarter Moon also provides focused ability to discern the wisdom and gifts of the previous Moon phases that began at the Scorpio New Moon of November 20. As the Moon wanes the completion and integration phase continues moving us toward the New Moon, New Solar Cycle (Solstice) on Dec 20 and 21. This is a good time to begin pondering what seeds we intend to plant in the renewing Lunar and Solar cycle.

Dec 13, Wednesday. Moon moves into Libra transmitting the mysteries of conscious loving partnership that equally honors each person for the gifts they bring to the relationship. Ken Keyes wrote Prescriptions for Happiness over 25 years ago as a guideline for living love in all aspects of life. The first prescription is to Ask for what you Want, but don’t demand it. When we are attached to outcomes, and how our partners or friends should behave or respond to us, we have automatically set ourselves up for disappointment and unhappiness. The second prescription for Happiness is: Accept what is for now. It is amazing how fast situations can shift when we approach them with acceptance. And the third prescription is to Turn up your love – even if you don’t get what you want. Ken suggests this does not mean you have to be nice to others but it helps to be NICE TO YOURSELF…when we have our loved turned off whether it is toward our self and/or others then our hearts are not open or accepting.

He also emphasizes that we don’t have to like everything others say or do - to be in a place of love and acceptance. We can still like what we like and prefer what we prefer while allowing others their own process. That also doesn’t mean we allow them to behave badly toward us. It might be that we may have to step away from someone, but we can do it with love and compassion for their experience even if it isn’t something we like or understand. The key is to turn up our love for ourselves and then it is so much easier to be in a place of genuine love and acceptance of others.

Dec 14, Thursday. Mercury (9 Sag) is zodiacally aligned with Antares, heart of the Scorpion, watcher of the west and Mars (6 Sag) is fast making its approach to this fixed royal star on Dec 19. Antares is an interdimensional gateway accessing the transformative energies of the oracle designed to expand awareness and meaning in ways that inspire the fulfillment of our divine destiny. In Egyptian star lore Antares was linked with Isis and the pyramid ceremonies.

There are pyramids all over our planet placed specifically to access these stellar pathways. Also, every physical structure in creation is linked through some sort of pyramidal or triangular form that provides the internal structure. When we can comprehend this it helps to lead us back to source.

Elizabeth Haich’s book Initiation goes into great detail about the sacred geometry of pyramids. Here are a few excerpts to further activate and inspire.

“…in the field of geometry the form of the equilateral triangle is the symbolic image of God in which the recognizer, the recognized and the recognition are one and the same. 1 in 3 and 3 in 1…Thus we see the pyramid is the symbolic form of the God-man, who reveals his divine, selfless nature and completely manifests God on Earth…the pyramids will continue to stand for 1000’s of years, proclaiming to humanity the highest truths that have been built into them. People with eyes and ears will find and recognize these elements of truth, even though they may not be able to fathom all the mathematical and astronomical laws of the pyramids…”

Dec 15, Friday. Mercury (11 Sag) still in range of Antares is squaring Uranus (11 Pisces) facilitating unexpected and unusual communication possibilities or unusual opportunities to receive multi-dimensional, revolutionary, information.

Moon Moves into Scorpio until the early morning hours of December 18 catalyzing experiences that take us further and deeper especially if we are open to receiving the unusual messages Mercury and Uranus are co-conspiring to bring through.

Dec 16, Saturday. Sun (25 Sag) trines retrograde Saturn (25 Leo) illuminating the mysteries of truly loving ourselves. The Sun is also close to its annual conjunction with Pluto (26 Sag) illuminating the transformative power of Shamanic death and rebirth especially when we are willing to die to all the ways we do not truly love ourselves.

You, yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection. ~Buddha

Dec 17, Sunday. Sun enters one-degree conjunction with Pluto (26 Sag) at Galactic Center. As we approach the Solstice Window these Celestial Events are orchestrated to provide us with a magnificent opportunity to surrender who and what we think we should be. Surrendering to what is, what has been, and what will be, is a key to experiencing true expansive freedom that supports the fulfillment of our soul’s purpose. True surrender occurs when we are openly operating from trust. The magical key is to accept what is and trust what is unfolding. This can bring up our deepest fears especially when we are going through a process of dying to what has been and we don’t know what is ready to birth. Therefore it is important to acknowledge our fears - and the pain of losing what has been even if it has been an illusion and not a real expression of who we truly are. Grieving these losses helps us to surrender more fully so we are able to recognize the miraculous rebirth that awaits us on the other side of the process.

Dec 18, Monday. Sun conjunct Pluto (26 Sag), the waning Moon enters Sag and conjuncts Jupiter (5 Sag) and Mars (9 Sag) near Antares. Sun and Pluto are at Galactic center, the Moon will join them tomorrow and the next day as we head toward the Sag New Moon on Dec 20 at 28 Sag. Mars will not catch up to Pluto and Galactic Center until January. This line-up activates a portal of expanded awareness beyond ordinary reality helping to focus the transformative galactic frequencies that are now manifesting on Earth. One interesting example of this manifestation are the golden orbs showing up unexpectedly on photos. Check out the Nov 4, 2006 Shamanic Astrology Graduation photo – the only one of its kind taken that night. Ffor more about golden orbs here is a start http://orbstudy.com

Dec 19, Tuesday. Moon conjuncts Mercury (17 Sag), Mercury sextiles Neptune (17 Aquarius), Venus (11 Capricorn) sextiles Uranus (11 Pisces). For those with a low horizon and clear skies it may be possible to see the tiny waning crescent Moon with Mercury low on the eastern horizon before Sunrise.

In ancient Roman times today marked the beginning of Saturnalia, an annual weeklong festival when business stopped, executions and military operations were postponed and the masters served the slaves. This was the Roman way of overturning the rules for a fresh perspective. We are in a window of time (really for this entire month) that supports the surrender of the old forms and being open to the messages that are hinting at the rebirth of a whole new world, a new Heaven and a new Earth.

Dec 20, Wednesday. The Sag New Moon (29 Sag) is conjunct Pluto at Galactic Center at 6:01 am Pacific and 9:01 am Eastern time. Then the Moon moves into Capricorn about 2 and1/2 hours later across the Galactic Plane. This is one of the most powerful symbols for rebirth of a new cycle that we can have. Not only is the New Moon conjunct Pluto at Galactic Center we are also in the window of the New Solar Cycle marked by the exact Solstice alignment tomorrow. This is a time of joyous celebration for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere as it marks the return of the light or lengthening days. The Galactic Gateway is the portal through which universal intelligent energy enters our world. The Sun illuminates and the Moon transmits activating this portal in an especially powerful alignment.

These next few days we are fully experiencing a place in-between realities, in-between what was and what is becoming, in-between what is known and what is yet to be known, in between the beginning and the end, in-between what is ending and what is beginning. It is a place outside our fixed experience where all possible worlds exist and therefore a significant time for dreaming our most magical dreams and knowing they already exist.

Dec 21, Thursday. Happy Joyous and Magical December Solstice! Moon conjuncts Venus (13 Capricorn) symbolizing the return of the Goddess (as in the story of Inanna) through the first gate also known as The Gate of Manifestation which was the last gate Venus passed through on her way into the underworld. In the story of Inanna this is when she retrieves her royal robe or Garment of Ladyship reclaiming the healthy potency of her own life force expression. For those in a multiple of 8 year (8, 16, 24, 32, 40, 48, 56, 64, 72, 80, 88, 96, 104 etc. between Jan 20, 2006 and Aug 24, 2007) this Timing is especially significant as it marks the restoration of the first chakra, life force, in your personal Venus initiation that takes place every 8 years for about a year and a half. This is a great time to ceremonially reclaim your life force and begin to move forward with strength, purpose and power after the long underworld journey.

Mars (11 Sag) squares Uranus (11 Pisces) and the Sun enters Capricorn at the center point of the December Solstice. This Solstice window may bring sudden unexpected events that revolutionize our perspective as well as any plans we may have in motion. This is a wild card energy with multi-dimensional unseen forces that can bring about a radical assemblage point shift significantly changing whatever direction you think you might be headed toward.

The Solstice window lasts three days (yesterday, today and tomorrow) as the Sun stands still and rises in the same place along the horizon all three days. Currently this is occurring near Galactic Center where the Milky Way intersects the ecliptic. This area of the sky is known as Hunab Ku by the Mayans. Maya Elder, Hunbatz Men remind us… It is up to us to work with Hunab K'u, giver of movement and measure, and honoring spirit so it does not disappear and consequently our beautiful physical reality too. Let us ask Hunab K'u to show us the way and, through meditation, come to understand the calendric cycles…. Hunbatz Men article by John Kostura

What we energize in our hearts, thoughts, prayers, celebrations and ceremonies is seeding a new yearlong solar cycle as well as a much larger Great Year cycle of 26,000 years. The end and beginning of the Great Year occurs over many years and yet it is wise to be conscious of what we are seeding now.

This link describes Solstice astronomy, history, and divination, plus cool pictures of ancient sites built to capture an experience of the magic of the Solstice Sun. http://www.candlegrove.com/solstice.html#open More on the Galactic Alignment http://www.alignment2012.com/truezone.htm http://www.shamanicastrology.com/articles07.htm

Dec 22, Friday. We are still in the potency of the exact Solstice window and the Moon is moving into Aquarius known for its ability to be a radical change agent as we are liberated from the known and often catapulted into the unknown in unique and unexpected ways. The Aquarian Dispensation advocates the freedom to choose our own evolutionary path and yet often there are events beyond our control that catalyze radical shifts in our understanding and perception of our reality. As suggested in the quote below our perceptions and evolution is linked with the collective including our interaction with the Celestial Realms. The Aquarian Ideal recognizes our individuality as it expresses through universal principles and embraces the importance of honoring all the places on the wheel of life even if they are radically different than our own.

Ancient sky watchers and wisdom keepers of the original traditions of Mother Earth remind us of our cosmic origins and how re-aligning with the cosmos can give us essential energy needed to live together harmoniously and with honor for our Mother Earth. They teach that everything that happens in the sky affects our perceptions and our evolution. We are not separate from anything or anyone. It is clear that these current times on Mother Earth are like no other. These are the times in which all races, from all directions, must come together in harmony and unity." www.lightnews.org

Dec 23, Saturday. The waxing crescent Moon is conjunct Neptune (18 Aquarius) energizing the collective field of dreams we all share a part of through our own dreaming especially when we are imaging a peaceful, loving, harmonious world. We create our reality through our thoughts, feelings and actions and what we imagine and dream. When we intentionally tap into the universal dreaming field through meditation, prayer, and ceremony, we are acting as conscious co-creators of the emerging reality. We are in fact helping to “dream the dream onward.”

Dec 24, Sunday. Mercury (25 Sag) trines retrograde Saturn (25 Leo), and Moon moves into Pisces on this Christmas Eve transmitting the mysteries of Radical Compassion accelerating toward the Moon occultation of Uranus in Pisces tomorrow. Radical compassion goes beyond the traditional definition of compassion, which is: a feeling of deep sympathy and sorrow for another who is stricken by misfortune, accompanied by a strong desire to alleviate the suffering. Radical Compassion on the other hand lovingly allows for whatever experience we or others are having without having to rescue or fix the person or the situation. Radical Compassion is a powerful catalytic healing space that supports the divine flow of life to direct the situation to whatever needs to be even if we don’t understand it.

Dec 25, Monday. Mercury conjuncts Pluto (26 Sag) and the Moon occults Uranus (11 Pisces) for the 9th time this year hinting at an out of the ordinary Christmas Day. These are wildly intense transformative energies intended to take us deeper and further than we have ever been into multi-dimensional realms of experience. Messenger Mercury conjunct Pluto at Galactic Center has the potential to provide us with greater knowing of our core life purpose. As we let go of who we think we are - we can then actually be more of who we really are.

Dec 26, Tuesday. The waxing Moon moves into Aries transmitting the mysteries of trust, spontaneity, courage, willingness and the power of committed, inspired action to create our reality. Today is a good day to pick something fun to do and do it.

Dec 27, Wednesday. The Aries first quarter Moon (6 Aries) inspires us to actively commit to a cause we care about and to be willing to pioneer new territory that supports rapid healthy growth. Also today transformational messenger Mercury is moving into Capricorn crossing the Solstice point where the Sun just crossed on Dec 21. It helps to be open and receptive to the messages and frequencies being transmitted from the Galactic Gateway.

Dec 28, Thursday. The North Node of the Moon (19 Pisces) and Uranus (12 Pisces) are already in the energy of their exact conjunction on Mar 28, 2007. The North Node represents our personal and collective destiny. Uranus is a change agent bringing about the radical changes necessary to support the fulfillment of our destiny. These changes often shift our perspective or points of reference intending to liberate us from any limiting beliefs or patterns that obstruct the free expression of who we truly are. It helps to be open and flexible and to roll with the flow of what is occurring, trusting these shifting reference points and perspectives are taking us toward greater fulfillment and joy of living our true destiny.

Dec 29, Friday. Moon moves into Taurus reminding us of the art of savoring and enjoying each moment and the importance of actively receiving all the abundant gifts life has to offer. Savoring life happens more easily when we consciously relax, slow down, breathe deeply and receive with gratitude the boundless beauty of life.

Dec 30, Saturday. The Moon is approaching the Pleiades tonight providing us with a direct transmission from this Stargate. (See Oct 9, 2006 Celestial Timings Archives http://www.celestialtimings.com/archives/October2006CelestialTimings.html The power of this transmission is heightened when we take time to visually connect but even if the Moon and Pleiades are not visible due to weather conditions tuning in with intention through visualization, meditation, journeying, ceremony, or other processes helps to maximize this Timing.

Dec 31, Sunday. Happy New Year’s Eve! Moon moves into Gemini crossing into the Sacred Hoop and Mars (18 Sag) sextiles Neptune (18 Aquarius) suggesting this is a great time to Celebrate the New Year with fun, spontaneous, playful social events that inspire our imagination and fill our hearts with joy.

Around mid-night local time the triple star Sirius is directly overhead. Sirius is not only the brightest fixed star in our sky, but it has been an important star to many cultures. The Egyptians marked their New Year with the heliacal rise of Sirius (rising before the Sun) because it also signaled the annual flooding of the Nile River. Another example is the United States of America was birthed on July 4, 1776 when Sirius was conjunct the Sun.

For an in-depth look at Sirius. http://www.souledout.org/cosmology/highlights/siriushighlights/siriusheavenlyhost.html

Recent findings reveal we are "downstream" from Sirius in the part of the galactic arm our solar system resides in. If God is the bringer of life (energy) and light, Sirius fits the description — it transmits its energy (highly charged particles) to our entire system via the magnetic field lines. We literally receive energy from Sirius! http://www.souledout.org/cosmology/cossynthreflects/sirius.html

The ancient Egyptians revered Sirius as the Nile Star, or Star of Isis. Its annual appearance just before dawn at the Summer Solstice, June 21, heralded the coming rise of the Nile, upon which Egyptian agriculture depended. This helical rising is referred to in many temple inscriptions, where the star is known as the Divine Sepat, identified as the soul of Isis. In the temple of Isis-Hathor at Dendara, Egypt, appears the inscription, "Her majesty Isis shines into the temple on New Year's Day, and she mingles her light with that of her father on the horizon." The Arabic word Al Shi'ra resembles the Greek, Roman, and Egyptian names suggesting a common origin in Sanskrit, in which the name Surya, the Sun God, simply means the "shining one." http://www.souledout.org/cosmology/sirius/siriusgodstar.html

Interestingly, in current times our New Year’s Eve celebration occurs when Sirius reaches the zenith or is directly overhead at mid-night powerfully infusing the Earth’s magnetic grid with actively radiant divine energy inspiring and awakening us to greater love and understanding when we are open to receiving this infusion
