2010 April Celestial Timings
Solar Cycle 24 has begun - NASA, NOAA and ESA has predicted this cycle to be up to 50% stronger Solar Cycle 23 that produced the largest solar flare ever recorded. The Sun will reach its 'apex' (maximum) in late 2011 into 2012.
The Sun's solar activity affects the Earth's magnetic field having a dramatic affect on Earth's weather including earthquakes, floods, volcanoes, and hurricanes. The solar activity and the waves of electrical currents generated by it also affect the human body's magnetic field. Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) provides empirical evidence of how magnetic fields can influence human emotions.

Introduction to April Timings
We live in accelerated times with the number of unusual and powerful celestial events escalating to the point where they are occurring on an almost daily basis. The days when exact events are not taking place are still tremendously potent - meaning anything can happen at any time - because the exact events often have far a reaching effect lasting for 
weeks or months and sometimes even years.

Back on Earth, beginning in 1885 scientists started noticing the South magnetic pole had traveled about 900 km towards, and into, the Indian Ocean. The Arctic magnetic pole is moving toward the Eastern Siberian world magnetic anomaly by way of the Arctic Ocean. A 2003 NASA article says…The pole kept going during the 20th century, north at an average speed of 10 km per year, lately accelerating "to 40 km per year," says Newitt. At this rate it will exit North America and reach Siberia in a few decades… Earth's magnetic field is changing in other ways, too: Compass needles in Africa, for instance, are drifting about 1 degree per decade. This leads scientists to conclude that the currently observed polar travel acceleration is not just a shift or digression from the norm, but is in fact an inversion of the magnetic poles now in full process. It is now surmised that the acceleration of polar travel may grow to a rate of up to 200 km per year. This means that a polar inversion is most likely already in process. April 01, Thursday. All Fool’s Day. The genesis of our current understanding of April Fool’s Day grew out of the 1582 change in the calendar instituted by Pope Gregory shifting New Year’s Day from April 1 to January 1. News traveled slowly in those days and for various reasons many continued to celebrate New Year's Day on April First. Those who continued to celebrate New Year’s in April became known as April Fools and was a way to pressure individuals into conforming to a calendar that was designed to focus awareness on physical evidence and promote materialism and commerce. It has been highly successful not only in focusing consciousness on materialism but also in disconnecting us from the magical world including the natural cycles of the Earth and Sky.

Venus enters Taurus today until April 24. April 02, Friday. Good Friday. For many Catholics and Christians around the world this marks the anniversary of the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ and then on Easter Sunday (April 4) is the celebration of his Resurrection. Good Friday and Easter Sunday have been also celebrated as the two feasts of the Pasch; the Pascha staurosimon (the passage to death), and the Pascha anastasimon (the passage to life – as in the Resurrection).
Many Christian traditions still observe every Friday as a Feast Day, or Holy Day. Good Friday is the holy of holy Fridays and there are those who believe that Good came from the historical reference that it is "God's Friday". These Feast Days, or Holy Days, commemorate aspects of Great Mystery or the Sacred Mysteries depending on the cultural traditions in ways that are intended to inspire greater commitment to a spiritual life. Easter Sunday is determined by the first Sunday after the first Full Moon after the Spring Equinox. It is not a fixed holiday but is still linked to the remnants of a time when the Holy Days were determined by certain Moon phases nearest the solar gates.
Mercury enters Taurus today and is dancing between Taurus and Aries from now until June 6 due to Mercury’s retrograde that begins April 6. This long transit of Mercury through Taurus and Aries is emphasizing additional messages around committed decisive action that deepens our experience of the art of receivership, intimacy and aesthetics. Truly receiving, savoring, and enjoying the sacred pleasures of life is our divine birthright and it is time to actively know and reclaim these mysteries. The waning Moon is rising after midnight tonight very near the fixed star Antares in the Golden Gateway to the Galactic Center and will be visible about 1.6 degrees North of Antares in the early morning hours tomorrow depending on your Time Zone. (See April 30)
April 03, Saturday. Venus (3 Taurus) Squares Mars (3 Leo). Venus catches up with Mars August 19 at almost 13 Libra about four days after the first quarter Moon. We could imagine that the sacred feminine Venus and sacred masculine Mars are preparing for an evening star sacred marriage rendezvous come August in the sign of Libra, the archetypal energy that has the most to do with conscious equal partnership and sacred marriage.
Mercury is 3 degrees WNW of Venus about 19 degrees above the western horizon at Sunset. This is a quasi conjunction of Venus and Mercury in the evening sky during Mercury’s best evening appearance this year. The reason it is called a quasi conjunction is because Venus and Mercury do not actually reach the same sign and degree, but rather hang out close together within a couple of degrees for the first couple of weeks of April. They do not separate beyond 10 degrees until April 19, two days after Mercury stations retrograde. (See star map above)
Venus is the brightest object in the evening sky with Mercury showing up much dimmer in comparison. It will be interesting to note the messages Mercury is bringing the Queen of Heaven as she approaches the second gate exact in the early morning hours of April 16. Mercury will be within about 7 degrees of the Venus Moon conjunction that day. (See April 2, 8, and 16)
April 04, Sunday. Easter Sunday features Resurrection and Renewal. Easter is named after the Spring Goddess, Eostre or Ostre. She is related to the Greek Goddess Eos, Goddess of the Dawn and the direction of the rising (or resurrected) Sun. The Sun rises exactly due East at the Spring Equinox. Easter celebrations regardless of their underlying origins, or how they are celebrated now, are a powerful reminder of the possibility of resurrecting our own divine essence while still engaging our human earth walk.
The waning Moon is moving into Capricorn late today or early tomorrow depending on your Time Zone and crossing the Galactic Gateway near Galactic Center as Venus at 5 Taurus 25 trines Pluto at 5 Capricorn 25. The Moon’s crossing of the Galactic Gateway on this Easter Sunday is emphasizing the theme of resurrection as it is from the center of our Galaxy that the New Evolutionary Light Codes are beaming toward Earth in a rare 26,000 year alignment. Today these Light Codes are being amplified by the Moon.
The following quote is from a sermon given by my Great Grandfather on Easter Sunday April 5, 1931 and is an interesting 20th century take on the concepts of death and resurrection that may have been unusual for those times because it suggests we all have the power to experience our own resurrection.
Every death is a real resurrection.
Death is a separation of the soul from the body. The organist rises from his seat and leaves the instrument upon which he has been playing. The instrument may 
crumble to dust, the player still lives on.
'Earth to earth, ashes to ashes dust to dust.' But the sprit to God who gave it. Death is dust to dust, ashes to ashes; the resurrection is the spirit to God who gave it; the two are simultaneous.
Jesus was not raised from the dead by a power acting on him from without. He had in himself the power of an endless life. He was himself the resurrection and the life, and therefore immune from death.
He laid down his life and he took it again because he had power to lay it down and take it again. The life was continuous, unbroken.
What the New Testament represents as true respecting Jesus Christ, it represents as true of Christ's followers. He is the first fruits of them that sleep. Their resurrection is like his resurrection, their life is like his life, their death is like his death. They are not raised from the dead by a power acting on them from without. They rise from the dead as the bird from the egg, as the plant from the seed.
The sons of God have in themselves the immortality of their Father. He that liveth and enters into the Christ life shall not die and rise from the dead - he shall never die.
Immortality is a possession.
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is a therefore not a miraculous prophecy of a future resurrection - it is visible witness of a present fact. It attests to the power of the divine life in all the sons (and daughters) of God.
As the germinating of a single seed is evidence of the dormant power of life in all similar seeds, so the uprising of this son of God is a demonstration of the dormant life in all the sons (and daughters) of God.

April 05, Monday. The Moon conjuncts Pluto (5 Capricorn 25) just prior to Pluto’s exact station retrograde tomorrow. The Moon is a transmitter amplifying the power and strength of this Shamanic Initiator that brings empowerment through the process of bringing our deepest fears to light. It is through incorporation of our deep shadow places that we gain strength and empowerment. The issues that remain unconscious, unacknowledged and un-integrated influence the choices we make and the way we conduct our lives drawing experiences to us that are designed to bring these unconscious issues to conscious awareness. The more we ignore our personal shadow side the more intense these events become to get our attention. The planetary conditions now are adding greater fuel to the deeper personal fears most of us still have. Self-forgiveness and self-acceptance go hand in hand in supporting the integration of these shadowed places.
This message from William Henry speaks to the fear and control issues coming to awareness as Pluto goes deeper into the fears running our current reality and the importance of being awake and aware within ourselves and doing forgiveness work on the fact that this could even happen as a reflection on the current state of our planetary collective consciousness.
While the health care issue occupied the headlines, on March 4, 2010 Sens. John McCain and Joe Lieberman quietly introduced the Enemy Belligerent Interrogation, Detention, and Prosecution Act of 2010, monstrous legislation that will end American liberty and introduce a dictatorship. This bill has paranoids and patriots on red alert, and for good reason. It proclaims basically anyone who has a dissenting political opinion a domestic terrorist. The bill would allow the government to arrest and detain any American as an "enemy belligerent" indefinitely and without trial based on their "suspected activity." According to the bill, an individual doesn’t even have to pose a threat to be snatched, detained and interrogated – they can merely be deemed to be of “potential intelligence value” or come under the vague and sweeping mandate of “such other matters as the President considers appropriate.” This bill is more than a direct attack on the Constitution. April 06, Tuesday. Today is the Last Quarter Moon (16 Capricorn 29) and Pluto Stations Retrograde (5 Capricorn 25). This Last Quarter Moon emphasizes the phase or part in the cycle where the wisdom that has been gained so far in your current life journey has an opportunity to be more deeply integrated into your life expression. This is greatly facilitated by the process of acceptance of what IS…accepting everything that is in this moment now…even the things we feel are unacceptable, ugly, and painful (including the legislation mentioned in yesterday’s Timings).
The Pluto station retrograde is supported by the last quarter Moon bringing to light the shadow of all the political, religious and economic deception, domination, manipulation and control designed to enslave the masses through fear. Allowing for what IS furthers the process of transformation when we remember that what we resist will persist. Moving beyond the duality of fear and safety knowing that when we face our fears including the fears that surround issues of survival, having our needs met, having enough to eat and a place to live, fear of death, fear of being hurt either emotionally or physically, or any number of other equally valid fears, we are no longer at the effect of the fears that hold our current reality in place. These fears then vanish in the light of awareness and acceptance creating the possibility of a New Earth that is structured in love and compassion for all life.
April 07, Wednesday. The Moon moves into Aquarius and Saturn retrogrades back into Virgo. Saturn will remain in Virgo until July 21 and stations direct on May 30 at 27 Virgo. Saturn re-enters Libra on July 21.This is the last time Saturn will be in Virgo for about 27 years. This is the final integration stage of Saturn’s two plus year transit through this archetypal realm. Saturn in Virgo is about examining the structure of how we engage the Earth, what needs to change and how we can show up as conscious co-creators with the Earth to create a new Reality focused on creating sustainability. This is possible if enough of us are making this choice. It takes time in the world of form to create a new structure. The opportunity now is to consciously commit to the actions that begin the creation of that new structure in ways that help bring humanity back into balance with nature.
April 08, Thursday. Venus is at 10 Taurus and Mercury is at 8 Taurus traveling close together in the evening sky as Mercury reaches greatest elongation from the Sun in this Mercury cycle signaling the approaching Mercury retrograde on April 17. It helps to remember that Mercury is the messenger between the ordinary and non-ordinary worlds and is a catalyst for magic that is outside the realms of logic and reason. When Mercury has reached its furthest stretch from the Sun (greatest elongation) then the transformational messenger is best positioned to be most effective as a bridger of worlds.
April 09, Friday. The Moon conjuncts Chiron and Neptune and is only 3.8 degrees NNW of Neptune before moving into Pisces. Chiron is the Shamanic Healer and in Aquarius is working through innovative technology to support deep transformative healing that includes the realization of how “our story” is no longer what keeps us from living our divine destiny but rather becomes the medicine or teaching that not only supports the fulfillment of our personal destiny, it also inspires others. 
The chironic healing process has the power to transform the wound through willingness to fully engage and digest the wounding transforming it into your medicine. Neptune is helping to inspire new visions that are connected to a cosmic perspective and when combined, the chironic healing and teachings support the manifestation and celestial vision of who we truly are. As the Moon enters Pisces we are also reminded that radical compassion for our wounds and our challenges in the middle world human domain is one of the greatest healing gifts we can give ourselves and others.
April 10, Saturday. The Moon is visible approaching Jupiter in the Morning sky and Venus and Mercury are close together in the evening sky. The monthly passage of the Moon by Jupiter is further expanding the compassionate nature of Jupiter in Pisces getting ready to catch up to Uranus. A helpful question at this time might be, “How can I further help and heal myself, the planet and others?” Universal love and compassion are the greatest healing tools Pisces has to offer. This is not the love and compassion of the co-dependent type rushing into to fix whatever seems to be wrong. Rather, this is the healthy expression of love and compassion that can allow for what IS in the moment and in that place of total acceptance the wounds heal naturally.
April 11, Sunday. Moon conjuncts Jupiter (20 Pisces) and is visible 5.5 degrees NNW of Jupiter in the morning sky calling our attention to the magnified healing power of forgiveness as a powerful transformational key in helping and healing ourselves and others. In addition to all the techniques (especially Hoʻoponopono as suggested in the March 2010 Celestial Timings) another helpful technique is to use the transforming power of the Violet Flame.
The Violet Flame is a 5th dimensional frequency available for humanity to use in accelerating the process of awakening our awareness around being conscious co-creators. We all have access to the gift of the Violet Flame. It is as simple as invoking its power to transform our lives by intentionally asking the violet flame to assist us in transmuting fear, guilt, shame, pain, blame, limitation, scarcity, anger, frustration, judgment of self and others, confusion, uncertainty, etc.

April 12, Monday. Today is National Dark Sky Week started by Jennifer Barlow held annually in the week of the April New Moon. Today the Moon is passing 5.5 degrees NNW Uranus (28 Pisces) before moving into Aries. The Moon is amplifying the Uranian energy of radical change for radical evolution. Unexpected, unpredictable events are possible that can suddenly redirect us into new possibilities.
The Sun conjuncts the fixed star Baten Katos (22 Aries) located in the belly of the whale in one of the largest constellations called Cetus covering 50 degrees of the sky by length and 20 degrees by width. (In other words, it is really, really BIG!) The head of Cetus is located 
directly under the Ram (a.k.a. Aries) and its body stretches from the bend in the river constellation known as Eridanus to the Stream falling from the Urn of the Waterbearer (a.k.a. Aquarius).
In his book Hero With a Thousand Faces, Joseph Campbell indicates that “belly of the whale” is a passageway through a magical threshold of initiation taking the hero or heroine into the deep, dark, unknown interior of one’s psyche. This also corresponds to initiations of self-annihilation where the hero/ine’s journey goes inward beyond ordinary time and space for the purpose of rebirth.
April 13, Tuesday. Jupiter and Uranus are within 8 degrees moving toward their exact conjunction in June and the North Node and Pluto are within 10 degrees. The Pluto Node conjunction will be exact on November 10, 2010 at 3 Capricorn 37. Jupiter and Uranus are highly revolutionary energies. In fact, it was the Jupiter Uranus conjunction of 1775 that lead to the American revolution and the beginning of the United States of America.
This time Uranus and Jupiter meet in June near zero degrees of Aries in opposition to Saturn and square Pluto. This means anyone with planets or angles in early degrees of Cardinal signs (Aries, Libra, Capricorn and Cancer) are on the leading edge of huge personal assemblage point shifts within themselves. This includes the Unites States Chart with the Midheaven in early Libra, the IC in early Aries and Venus and Jupiter in early Cancer.
The one thing we can know for sure is that we don’t know anything for sure other than BIG changes are in process. What they will look like and how they will play out is part of the unfolding Great Mystery. For those who have been practicing letting go, releasing attachments to outcome and rolling with the flow this will be a much easier time to navigate. For those who are still hanging on to old forms, beliefs and ways of living this could be an extremely trying and difficult time.
April 14, Wednesday. The Aires New Moon (24 Aries 27) is within a couple of degrees of the fixed star Baten Katos (see April 12) and is a potent seed point for committing or recommitting to a noble cause or purpose you feel passionate about. That purpose may be your own health and well-being or it might be a relationship or your sacred work.
New Moons are a great time to create intention statements and/or prayers around our heart’s desires and the Aries New Moon asks us what decisive action are we committed to taking for the purpose of fulfilling our life purpose and heart’s desire? If you don’t know what your heart’s desire is then you might ask yourself either through journaling or talking out loud so you can either see or hear your answers; “What is my true heart’s desire?” and/or “What fear is in the way of me either knowing or acting on my personal visions and dreams?” and/or “What would I be doing if I weren’t afraid?” Or a similar question that inspires a deeper personal inquiry to what might be keeping you from committing to fulfilling and magically living your life purpose.
April 15, Thursday. Moon moved into Taurus late yesterday afternoon or evening depending on your time zone. (See April 19) and the Moon is passing 1.5 degrees N of Mercury (12 Taurus) just two days before the retrograde station on April 17. The Moon is amplifying the Taurus mysteries of intimacy and receiving. Giving and Receiving are equally important though our current culture teaches giving is more important. Genuine receivership occurs when we can fully receive with genuine gratitude and appreciation.
The sacred art of true receivership is challenging to engage as there are very few healthy modern day examples. Daily prayers of gratitude assist in balancing the flow of giving and receiving in healthy ways. With Mercury going retrograde in Taurus and the Moon here today this is a great time to do a gratitude ceremony listing all that you are grateful for or at least as many things as you can think of and then adding more to it later as you become ever more gratefully aware of all the gifts life is giving in each moment.
April 16, Friday. Waxing crescent Moon is 4 degrees NNW of Venus as Inanna retrieves her second chakra vestment. Some versions of the story say Inanna regains her jeweled anklets symbolizing a return of a healthy connection to her ego. Other stories say Inanna is regaining her golden belt worn around her hips reclaiming her value and knowing her worth. For those born in an eight year (8, 16, 24, 32, 40, 48, 56, 64, 72, 80, 88, 96, 104 etc) this is an important ceremonial gateway to engage with the intent to strengthen your personal reclamation of these energies.
The second chakra (or sacral chakra) is also known as the sex and money chakra relating to life force, self- worth and taking care of ourselves. During the descent process Inanna released any distortions she had related to this chakra when she relinquished her second chakra vestment freeing any restrictions she might have felt in regard to the flow of life force (including sexual energy). When sensual life force energy is free to move it helps connect us with our emotions, desires, intimacy, and pleasure. When this energy moves freely through us everything we need shows up.
Physically the 2nd chakra is located below the navel and is associated with lower back, sacrum, circulation, sexual organs, and all related processes that have to do with the flow of fluids through the body. This chakra is connected to our willingness to feel the entire range of feelings from grief and pain to ecstasy and delight. The release process began last fall when Venus passed through this gate on her way to the underworld and it is now time to reclaim a healthy relationship with these energies.
If you have successfully released patterns of self-denial, self-rejection, self-judgment and self-deprivation then it is time to embrace and reclaim your right to healthy forms of pleasure, spontaneity, sexuality, intimacy, and joy.
Ceremonial reclaiming of this chakra vestment could include creating an intentional mandala, or altar, featuring images that represent healthy second chakra energy. Some suggestions are using the color orange, including orange stones such as carnelian and orange calcite, fire opal, and orange jasper, as well as orange clothes, orange food, orange plants and second chakra sound (via tuning forks) or essential oils. Any images that bring you immense pleasure and feelings of joy and well-being are also great to include. Mars (6 Leo) is 1 degree from the center of the Beehive Cluster also in the evening sky. This marks the third passage of Mars over this area of the Sky since Mars entered Leo in October of 2009. The Beehive Cluster appears as a faint smudge though it may be blotted out by the light of the Moon. If you have really dark skies or binoculars this may be easier to see. This cluster of stars conjures the imagery of a busy beehive operating from the principle of cooperation, where one is making their contribution to the greater whole. As Mars passes this area of the sky he has the opportunity to gain insights and wisdom from the light codes of these stars. The teaching of the beehive is about working in cooperation for the good of the whole for the purpose of co-creating a golden age of peace and plenty for everyone.
April 17, Saturday. The waxing crescent Moon occults the Pleiades for the fourth time this year in this series of occultations reminding us of the importance of the Pleiadian light codes being amplified and transmitted to the Earth via the Moon. The Pleiades are located on the shoulders of the Bull (a.k.a Taurus, see The Difference Between Signs and Constellations). The Bull is one of the four constellations along with the lion, the scorpion, the man and the bull that figure prominently in the shift of the ages. The ages shift when the Solstice and Equinox points align between the Horns of the Bull and the feet of the Twins, where the Summer Solstice is now located. The importance of the crescent Moon with the Pleiades in the constellation of the Bull is hinted at in the following passage:
Shiva's 'perfect horn' is the crescent Moon. The first letter of the Hebrew alphabet aleph, which means "bull", is the symbol of the moon in its first week and also the name of the sign of the zodiac where the moon's mansions begin (ELIT p.178). Also today, Messenger Mercury stations retrograde at 12 Taurus deepening our perception of the Taurus mysteries of pleasure and beauty. (See April 2) Here is an imagery to contemplate as the transformational messenger retraces the area of the sky it has just passed by until May 11.

April 18, Sunday. Sun (28 Aries) sextiles Neptune (28 Aquarius) today and Chiron (29 Aquarius) tomorrow heightening physical sensitivity and inner intuitive processes. When an outer planet sextiles the Sun it is always in direct motion and reminding us that Neptune will station retrograde May 31 and Chiron stations retrograde June 5. Neptune’s influence helps deepen our intuition when we allow ourselves to trust our inner knowing. This means knowing what we know even when seemingly beyond what seems reasonable from a middle world perspective. This is about allowing for the psychic connection with the source of all that is and all that is possible. The challenge is to listen deeply from our inner knowing, from the part of ourselves that knows. This is not so easy due to the illusions of this middle world reality that operate from doubt, fear and the unhealed places within our hearts.
The Moon is 8.3 degrees N of Aldebaran (10 Gemini), the reddish star marking the right eye of the Bull, and one of the four royal stars linked with the four ages and the four archangels. Aldebaran is the star of Archangel Michael and marked the place the Sun rose on the Spring Equinox in 3044 BCE about 5,000 years ago. This is a great time to tune into the Moon and Aldebaran to receive your own personal transmission.
April 19, Monday. The Moon is crossing the Galactic Cross near the Galactic Edge as it moves into Cancer. An important insight we might gain from the Moon in this area of the sky is working with self-care. It helps to remember that self-nurturing is following your true heart’s desire and thus fulfilling your divine purpose in the ways that are most supportive and beneficial to you, not because it is the “right” thing to do, but rather because it is aligned with the divine design. This Galactic Cross is linked mythically with the place where souls enter this dimension. Noticing where the Moon is as it sends light codes in from beyond our Galaxy helps us to connect with the incoming light energy and information.
April 20, Tuesday. The Sun moved into Taurus either late last night or early this morning depending on your time zone. The seasonal move of Sun into Taurus marks the phase of the year when we begin to see the fruits of accelerated rapid growth. Taurus explores beauty, intimacy and pleasure as its creative artistic expression and reminds us of the art of savoring and enjoying each moment and the importance of receiving all the abundant gifts life has to offer.
Taking time to savor life is easier when we consciously choose to relax, slow down, breathe deeply, and recognize with gratitude the boundless beauty of life. The Taurus mysteries also teach that physical love and pleasure in our bodies is a sacred experience. This is the gift of sacred pleasure, of joy in living, and flourishing with all of life.
April 21, Wednesday. The First Quarter Moon is at 1 Leo 32 very close to Mars at 9 Leo and 7.4 degrees from Pollux in the constellation of the Twins visible in the evening sky. The energies today include the importance of self-love tapping into the universal power or cosmic life force energy for the purpose of deepening our connection to the cycles and rhythms of life. When we feel grounded and connected to the natural world and her sacred timings we find ourselves connected to an eternal wellspring of information and inspiration and the radiant divine energy that animates all life.
April 22, Thursday. Lyrid Meteor Shower should be worth watching this year. The Moon is 3.3 degrees from the Beehive Cluster and 4.4 degrees SSW of Mars (9 Leo). This marks the second conjunction of the Moon with Mars since Mars stationed direct on March 10. In our current understanding of the Mars cycle this is the second test or task Mars is encountering in his quest for radical self-love. This quote from the Keys of Enoch inspires a sense of the intent of this Moon/Mars conjunction in Leo near the Beehive Cluster of stars and the light codes being amplified and transmitted by both the Moon and Mars and the Lyrid Meteor Shower at this time.

April 23, Friday. Moon is 4 degrees South of Regulus as it moves into Virgo. This is a great time to visually connect with Regulus as the waxing gibbous Moon passes the heart of the lion reminding us of the importance of self-love that is based in self-forgiveness. (See self-forgiveness practices and suggestions are woven throughout the March, 2010 Celestial Timings)
Venus (28 Taurus) squares Neptune (28 Aquarius) and sextiles Uranus (28 Pisces) accelerating the intuitive guidance Venus is receiving intended to assist her in sharpening her ability to listen to her inner voice and act from her inner knowing in ways that are unique and revolutionary. If the sacred feminine expression within each of us has successfully let go of the need to know and has reached a state of surrender and trust in moment-to-moment experiences then this timing accelerates the growth already in process. If not - greater confusion may abound.
This emphasizes healthy expressions of the tantric mysteries including intimacy, beauty, pleasure and receivership as an inspiring and fulfilling path of self-realization. If these mysteries are a challenge for you then it may be time to embrace the assemblage point shift that is possible when we are willing to embrace new ideas, ways of the thinking, and unexpected events and experiences that expand our awareness of ourselves in the context of this life.
April 24, Saturday. Astronomy Day started in 1973 and is held on the April Saturday closest to the first-quarter Moon. This year that was on April 21.
Venus (29 Taurus) trines Saturn (29 Virgo) just before she moves into Gemini crossing near the Pleiades. Looking into the night sky toward the western horizon Venus is visible 3.5 degrees SSW of the Pleiades. This marks the annual passage of Venus by this star group and the entry of Venus into the Sacred Hoop, traveling through this area of the sky until June 9. The Sacred Hoop is visible after the Sun has set above the western horizon and the edge of the Hoop marked by the Pleiades is being illuminated by the Queen of Heaven.
Whenever planets pass through this part of the sky it is a reminder of our interconnectedness with all life and the importance of this time for mending our personal and collective place within the Hoop or circle of life.
April 25, Sunday. The Sun (5 Taurus) trines retrograde Pluto (5 Capricorn). The annual Sun Pluto trines always occur either just after the retrograde station or just before the station direct. In this case, Pluto stationed retrograde on April 5 and is nearly stopped in the sky from the Earth’s perspective. That is the Earth based observer would see Pluto as being suspended or not moving at this time. The Pluto standstill time is great for inner reflection and meditation upon our shadow issues, our fears, and whatever holds us back from living the fullest expression of who we are.
The Moon is 7.4 degrees SSW of Saturn near the tale of the Lion and is moving into Libra this afternoon.
April 26, Monday. Retrograde Saturn (28 Virgo) is opposite Uranus (28 Pisces) for the fourth time in this series. The last opposition will take place in July. Saturn seeks to stabilize structures that work and Uranus seeks to create evolutionary change. It is clear the old forms are not working and a new operating system is vital to our continued growth and well-being as a planet.
Uranus energizes unpredictable, unusual, novel events designed to facilitate whatever changes are necessary. That means radical unpredictable changes are possible and will intensify if needed for change to occur. The best strategy is to trust the process and be open to these changes as they are intended to create greater freedom in our ability to take responsibility for what we are co-creating and letting go of any attachments we might have to a specific outcome. Saturn and Uranus are working together within an overall divine plan that still may not be obvious. Our job is to remain in our hearts with great compassion, energizing the light of love in all we do.
April 27, Tuesday. Moon is 2.9 degrees SSW of Spica (24 Libra) about 12 hours before moving into Scorpio. The Moon with Spica illuminates this sacred feminine bright star of the Virgin Priestess that is helping to guide our way.
The Moon in Scorpio is activating the mysteries of death, rebirth and edgewalking. The concept of edgewalking is often scary and takes us out of our comfort zones. Some willingly walk the edges of life while others only do so when forced by circumstances. In these times it can be most helpful to be willing to walk the edges of the old and the new ways, bridging what has been with what is emerging. Embracing the mysteries of death, trusting there is always a rebirth emerging out of what has been – this is edgewalking - pushing beyond known edges into unexplored territory where new life and growth occur.
Conscious edgewalking comes from trust and acceptance. Trusting the changes and accepting them as an unfolding expression of the divine plan is challenging when the old structures are crumbling and the unknown is so uncertain and scary. However, when we embrace the transforming energies it is much like the metamorphosis of the caterpillar into the butterfly. The caterpillar dies or transmutes into a new form that is more magical and empowered than the caterpillar could ever imagine.
The two dim names above the dim white Moon are Zubenalgenubi and Zubenalshamali.. The three stars coming over the horizon are the head of the Scorpion. I just couldn't get this map to come in any clearer...after several tries...
April 28, Wednesday. The Scorpio Full Moon is 8 Scorpio 07 with Sun conjunct retrograde Mercury in Taurus. This Scorpio Full Moon is visible within a few degrees of the two brightest stars Zuben Algenubi (15 Scorpio) and Zuben Alshamali (19 Scorpio) in the constellation of the Scales. Tomorrow night the Moon will be visible beyond these stars that have symbolized the weighing of the heart of the dead against the feather of Maat (Goddess of Justice) as described in Egyptian mythology.
The Scales of Justice and Balance expand our awareness of how natural laws operate and how we can balance them with our human experience in ways that are passionately inspired. This Full Moon is amplifying and transmitting these light codes directly to us through the highly charged raw, primal life force energy of Scorpio intended to enliven passion, magic, personal power, and manifestation.
Also today the Sun is conjunct retrograde Mercury beginning a new cycle for the transformational messenger in the Taurus mysteries that will be integrated into the collective psyche of humanity for the next 120 days or so. This is a time when our perceptions and communication style is anchored in the present moment and intended to connect with the Earth energies in ways that are deeply intimate and pleasurable.
April 29, Thursday. The Moon moves into Sagittarius transmitting the mysteries of the questing Amazon adventurer exploring and searching for continually expanding levels of truth and meaning. The Delphic Oracle has two Sagittarian type inscriptions over the doorway. The first inscription is “Know Thy Self.” The second is, “Nothing in Excess”.
The excessive tendencies of the Sagittarius archetype may include many possibilities. One of the more tricky excesses of Sagittarius may express as obsessive spiritual practices that ultimately wind up being a way of avoiding a genuine middle world experience. It may be useful to take time over the next couple of days to note how well you know yourself and how balanced you are in living your life in ways that naturally support continued expansion of that self-knowing?
April 30, Friday. Jupiter has moved within 5 degrees of Uranus magnifying unpredictable events designed to help and heal humanity and the Earth in unusual innovative ways.
The Moon is again 2 degress NNE of Antares. According to the book Starlight Elixirs and Cosmic Vibrational Healing by Michael Smulkis and Fred Rubenfeld - Antares assists those who have a desire for understanding information gained in altered states of consciousness such as meditative states and the dream state. As the Moon passes by here each month these mysteries are illuminated and transmitted to those who are open and willing to engage them. Spending time with the Moon rising just before 10 pm local time is one way to engage the transmission coming in at this time. The other is to simply spend time in whatever personal meditation practice works for you with the intent to connect with these energies.

Transcendence through Self-Forgiveness

Self-forgiveness is the very foundation of our higher-dimensional Temple of Love. We can think of self-forgiveness as learning to accept ourselves fully just as we are right here and now.
Self-forgiveness is the only forgiveness there is really. God-Spirit-Source never holds anything against us. Anything we may hold against others is really about what we hold against ourselves as well. Once we learn how to access who we really are at will -- our true essence -- we can then operate in an awareness that allows us to see the conditioning that leads to the need for forgiveness in the long run. If we can actualize this state of awareness often enough, then we can step increasingly out of the need for forgiveness altogether...
