We are in the midst of an Aquarian and Capricornian Conspiracy of Celestial Events designed to further revolutionize humanity and planet Earth. Over the past many years, we have been experiencing an increase in the number of rare and transformative planetary alignments as we move through this Turning of the Ages, and the coming months are no exception. The Capricorn Conspiracy has been in play, albeit subtly, for many years as the December Solstice point of Zero Capricorn has moved into alignment with the intersection of the Milky Way with the Ecliptic. This is a cosmic event that lasts at least 144 years and occurs every 26,000 years. The exact center point of this alignment was in May 1998 telling us we have about 64 more years left. Plus we now have the recent move of Jupiter (a 12 year cycle) and Pluto (a 248 year cycle) into Capricorn and Jupiter and Venus are making their closest visual conjunction for the next 6 years on Feb 1.
February also features the most concentrated expression of this year’s Aquarian Conspiracy beginning the month with four planets, the Sun (a yearly cycle), retrograde Mercury (a 6 to7 year cycle), Chiron (a 50 year cycle), Neptune (a 165 year cycle), the North Node (a 18.6 year cycle) and the asteroid Vesta (a nearly 4 year cycle) all in Aquarius. The gathering of Neptune, Chiron and the North Node altogether in Aquarius marks the rare
convergence of three longer cycles. Plus, the major activator this month a
re the two eclipses, particularly the one Annular Solar Eclipse on February 6 accelerating the revolutionary changes already in motion very similar to the Feb 4, 1962 eclipse that accelerated the 1960’s changes. (More about this years eclipses here.)
This is heralding a revolution in consciousness, the cosmic perspective, and objective awareness intended to bring in new innovative and creative ideas, visions, technologies, and energies intended to assist radical change and the fulfillment of the Aquarian Dispensation. This dispensation says everyone should have the right to take responsibility for their own spiritual and evolutionary path. The 1960’s began a spiritual revolution that has not yet fully found its expression in manifest reality. The old order, the old structures, the old forms, must change. Indeed, unexpected, unusual revolutionary change is guaranteed. The form the changes take are dependent on the choices we are making at this time. It has never been more important to be dreaming the dream of a new reality, of a new way of being in peace and harmony and balance with all of life. Conscious participation with the upcoming Celestial events is a powerful way to engage and be a part of these transformative times. Visible Planets
- Sun (12 Aquarius to 10 Pisces) This Cross-Quarter time features a North Node Annular Eclipse of the Sun February 6 with Moon 4.6 degrees SSE of Mercury (only 2 degrees from the Sun) and .34 degrees SSW of Neptune (only 3 degrees from the Sun)
- Mercury (23 Aquarius to 13 Aquarius) went retrograde January 29 and stations direct (8 Aquarius) on February 18. Mercury will conjunct Venus and be within 2 degrees of each other for 7 days from February 25 to March 2. Venus passes under Mercury, appearing little more than one degree below Mercury on their closest encounter February 27 when they are only 4 degrees above the horizon 45 minutes before sunrise. Jupiter will be 27 degrees to their upper right.
- Venus (10 Capricorn to 15 Aquarius) February begins with Venus only .6 degrees north of Jupiter. This is the closest observable conjunction of Venus and Jupiter since 2004 and won’t be this close again until 2014. Venus and Jupiter are rising just under two hours before the Sun on February 1. The next day they are slightly more than a degree apart. Jupiter continues to climb higher in the morning sky as Venus drops lower with each passing day.
- Mars (24 Gemini to 28 Gemini) Mars remains strong in the evening sky though somewhat dimmer than last month. Mars is near the Center of the Sacred Hoop and moving toward the feet of the Twins and is preparing to cross the Center of the Hoop that marks the June Solstice near the Galactic Edge in early March.
Jupiter (10 Capricorn to 16 Capricorn) see Venus for information about stunning Venus Jupiter Conjunction - Saturn (retrograde7 Virgo to 4 Virgo) stationed retrograde on Dec 19 stationing direct on May 2 at 1 Virgo 41 very near Regulus. Saturn is within 6 degrees of Regulus (a magical Behenian Star whose power is magnified when a visible planet is within 6 degrees ) from the end of January 2008 degrees until mid-July 2008. Saturn reaches opposition to the Sun meaning it is closest to the Earth on February 24 and is visible all night long as Saturn is rising as the Sun is setting.

Stars worth noting in the Night Sky this Month
This month Procyon and Sirius are the two bright stars in the eastern sky after Sunset. Procyon (11 light years from Earth) is the star known as "before the dog" rising just before the dog star Sirius (8 light years from Earth) our brightest fixed star. Look for Sirius to the lower left of the three stars of Orion's belt. Also prominent is the bright red star known as Betelguese marking the shoulder of Orion. All three stars, Procyon, Sirius and Betelguese form a perfect equilateral triangle known to some cultures as Heaven’s Gate where souls enter this dimension.

Meteor Showers Alpha Centaruid peeks February 8 with good visibility. This month is good for seeing the Zodiacal Light about one to two hours after sunset on clear moonless nights. Wikipedia says; the zodiacal light is a faint, roughly triangular, whitish glow seen in the night sky which appears to extend up from the vicinity of the sun along the ecliptic or zodiac. In mid-northern latitudes, the zodiacal light is best observed in the western sky in the spring after the evening twilight has completely disappeared, or in the eastern sky in the autumn just before the morning twilight appears. Daily Timings
February 1, Friday. Venus is only .6 degrees north of Jupiter (10 Capricorn) as we enter this cross-quarter time that will be exact on February 4. Venus and Jupiter are making a powerful visual statement of the sacred divine feminine (Venus) meeting with the expansive middle world initiator (Jupiter) in the morning sky. This is the closest observable conjunction of Venus and Jupiter since 2004 and they won’t be this close again until 2014.
Venus and Jupiter are rising just under two hours before the Sun on February 1. The next day they are slightly more than a degree apart. Jupiter continues to climb higher in the morning sky as Venus drops lower with each passing day.
Jupiter and Venus meet again this year on December 1 at 22 Capricorn so today’s conjunction sets this energy into motion undergoing an initiatory process for the next several months. This is an especially important planetary connection as Venus and Jupiter are the two brightest visible planets from Earth’s perspective and it is well worth taking time to see if you have clear skies over the next few days.
Today also marks the second occultation of the Moon over Antares in a series of 10 that 
will happen this year. The ancient Egyptians understood Antares as a portal to the pyramid mysteries and built temples sites and pyramids with specific features for capturing Antares rising. The pyramid mysteries remind us that every level of physical manifestation and evolution is related to sacred geometric pyramidal forms facilitating energetic dimensional shifts. Visualizing these stargates as three dimensional pyramids of light helps us to receive the transmission the Moon is sending us from Antares during these successive occultations.
February 2, Saturday. Today has been traditionally celebrated as Candlemas or Imbolc and is also known as Ground Hog Day. The tradition of Ground Hog Day began in Europe with hedgehogs coming out of their burrows to judge if winter was nearly over. The New World did not have hedgehogs, so groundhogs were adopted, and that gave rise to the celebration known as Ground Hog Day.
Messenger Mercury in its retrograde phase is returning for its second conjunction with Neptune (22 Aquarius). The first conjunction was January 22 and the third will be on March 8 indicating that this Mercury retrograde is even further beyond the realms of logic and reason than usual.
Neptune operates in the Celestial World where we encounter divine guidance and grace in a very “other world place” that is connected to the Cosmic Overview. This is a great time to ask what are the personal and collective messages coming in from this “other” realm? The Celestial World is where the stars and planets reside as well as teachers and guides from other dimensions. Here is where we might receive messages, guidance, insight and inspiration from our angels, or the Galactic Confederation or the Ascended Masters or Star Beings or other Celestial Beings currently helping with the evolutionary quantum leap occurring at this time on Earth.
February 3, Sunday. Today the Moon conjuncts Pluto (0 Capricorn 12) and Jupiter (10 Capricorn 27) drawing our attention to the Underworld where we must integrate the parts of ourselves we have forgotten, denied or been afraid of acknowledging. When we integrate these misplaced parts we can then experience wholeness of being. This has never been a more important time for being willing to embrace our fears and disconnected parts as Pluto crosses zero Capricorn (aligned with the Galactic Plane near Galactic Center) three times this year including January 25, June 13 and November 26. Plus, Pluto remains within one degree of this galactic gateway most of this year.
It helps to remember that it was 248 years ago when Pluto was last in this area of the sky and then we were not in an exact Galactic Alignment like we are now. That is because it is only once in 26,000 years that zero Capricorn can align with the intersection point of the Milky Way and the Ecliptic (path the planets follow). We have no record of what this type of alignment has produced in the past but we can be certain that it will be an unprecedented catalyst for bringing the structural shadow issues of our current reality to greater conscious awareness for the purpose of transforming them.
The Galactic Core, was referred to by the Mayans as Hunab Ku, the source of conscious energy that manifests the rhythm and form of our universe and accesses ancient/future unremembered knowledge within the micro and macrocosm of this reality. In the book Sacred Symbols for Balancing Body and Spirit by Karen & Joel Speerstra this definition describes the energies of Hunab Ku.
Hunab Ku is an ancient Mayan symbol that represents the joining of opposites. Hunab means “one state of being” and Ku means “God”. Masculine and feminine, analytical and intuitive, objective and subjective, yang and yin, conscious and unconscious, external and internal—the Hunab Ku speaks to the abyss between opposing forces and, in fact, serves as a bridge between them. Zero Capricorn marks the December Solstice Gate of the year ending and beginning the annual solar cycle. We are also at the end and beginning of a Great Year cycle (encompassing about 26,000 years) as described by Plato. Thus, now more than ever we have reached a place in-between realities, in-between what was and what is becoming, in-between what is known and what is yet to be known, in between the beginning and the end, in-between what is ending and what is beginning depending upon your perspective. It is a place outside our fixed experience where all possible worlds exist and anything is possible.
February 4, Monday. We have reached the astrological cross-quarter (Sun at 15 Aquarius) or exact half way point between the December Solstice when the Sun crosses 0 Capricorn and the March Equinox when the Sun crosses O Aries. This is the time of extinguishing old ceremonial fires and lighting new ones, while celebrating the return of the light symbolized by the slowly lengthening days. For some parts of the world, winter is loosening its hold and the Winter Solstice seeds are stirring, breaking free of their shells, and showing signs of growth.
The Aquarius Cross-Quarter energy operates from a cosmic perspective shifting the current assemblage point through radical changes that are intended to liberate our current experiences into expanded states of objective awareness and insight. This Cross-Quarter is being energized by an exact conjunction of the Sun with Chiron and energizing or opening doorways into further shamanic healing as Chiron conjunct the Sun at the cross-quarter is part of a 50 year cycle and not always this precise.
The Moon conjuncts Venus (13 Capricorn) at the 2nd Chakra Gate. The Moon is meeting with Venus for the 6th time since Venus rose as a morning star last August symbolizing the release of Inanna’s 6th vestment connected to her second chakra also known as the Gate of Creativity. This represents the sacred feminine surrendering the the judgments and misconceptions she has around her value and creative expression.
Venus remains visually bright and near Jupiter close to the pre-dawn horizon. This Timing is significant for anyone turning a multiple of eight (16, 24, 32, 40, 48, 56, 64, 72, 80, 88, 96, etc.) from August 24, 2007 to April 5, 2009, as this marks the eight-year personal synodic Venus Return. The importance of this eight-year cycle is not well understood in many current systems of astrology but is one of the most significant cycles considered in Shamanic Astrology.
As the Shamanic Astrology paradigm continues to research this cycle the importance the ancients place on tracking Venus is highly significant. The Mayans tracked Venus through her entire cycle and left records that were astonishingly accurate. The megalithic builders built sites such as New Grange in Ireland to capture the heliacal rise of Venus near the Winter Solstice that happens every 8 years. Also secret societies such as the Free Masons recognize the importance of the heliacal rise of Venus as a time for some of their most important ceremonies. It seems that Venus and her astronomical cycle is a key to understanding our own life experience.
February 5, Tuesday. Today the Moon moves into Aquarius opening the New Moon Eclipse window exact tomorrow. New Moons occur about every twenty-nine and half days when the Moon aligns with the Sun becoming invisible to us from the Earth’s perspective. The New Moon has been seen traditionally viewed as a conception point, a time when farmers plant their seeds, or a new adventure (or initiation) begins. It is a time for tuning into the New Lunar cycle that will last over the next twenty-nine and half days especially considering tomorrow is an exact New Moon Annular Solar Eclipse. This means the Moon moves between the Earth and the Sun blocking the light of the Sun at certain locations on the Earth during this alignment.
Shamanic Astrology emphasizes the direct visual experience of the planetary cycles as the most important way to have our own direct connection with these mysteries. Visually the New Moon is not visible in either the morning or evening sky for three days during the New Moon time. However, in an Eclipse, the shadow of the Moon effects the light of the Sun, either blocking it entirely as in a Total Eclipse or nearly entirely as in an Annular Eclipse or some part thereof in a partial eclipse. The ancients tracked Eclipses and felt they were some of the most powerful indicators of unexpected and unusual change.
In Shamanic Astrology we look at Eclipses as not only Harbingers of Change but also as a Super New Moon supercharging what is being seeded as the dark Moon temporarily diminishes the light of the Sun. When an Eclipse occurs in Aquarius we know that unusual, unpredictable “events of extreme novelty” are being activated. The last time we had an Aquarian eclipse at this magnitude with so many planets involved was Feb 4, 1962. That Eclipse included all the visible planets Jupiter, Saturn, and Mars, along with Venus and Mercury both being retrograde. Considering the extremely novel events and changes that took place in the 60’s following that remarkable eclipse we can get a sense of the scope of changes being activated by tomorrow’s eclipse.
February 6, Wednesday. Aquarius New Moon Annular Solar Eclipse (18 Aquarius) 
conjunct Neptune and Mercury with Chiron and the North Node nearby. This will be visible in Antarctic and partially visible in New Zealand, South Eastern Australia, Vanuatu, Fiji and Western Samoa. During the time after the 1962 February 4th Eclipse there was a collective drive for greater freedom of being and many were looking for and finding their own unique expression outside the traditional cultural norms.
Eclipses open portals from the Great Above. These doorways are opportunities to consciously connect with what is hidden within in ourselves. Essentially, the Moon is occulting the Sun or covering it. The Sun is hidden for several minutes and then begins to reappear or to reveal itself. This imagery speaks to a conscious choice to surrender into the great void or great unknown. Out of this chaos a new world is birthed. Through the accelerating or quickening of the eclipse energies this new world grows and takes form at an amazing rate of speed, emerging more and more fully into the light of our awareness with each passing day. What is hidden shall be revealed, just as the Moon covers the Sun, hiding it for a space of time and then moves on uncovering what has been hidden.
Today’s Aquarius Annular Solar Eclipse is seeding and accelerating revolutionary changes that will continue to express for many months to come creating the changes necessary for each individual to freely and authentically express who they truly are. The best way to participate with this timing is to let go of all possible attachments to outcome, surrender to the evolutionary changes and trust that by doing so, we will find ourselves exactly where we would want to be if we could fully imagine where it is we are going. Remember this will take many months and even years to unfold but the evolutionary changes that will revolutionize our lives are being seeded today.

Still within the potency of yesterday’s Solar Eclipse the Moon is moving into Pisces later today energizing the mysteries of magical, mystical union with the divine. Magic made manifest is the direct result of consciously engaging our imagination, or clearly imagining a desired reality. Remembering the world is as we dream it, it has never been more vital to be conscious of the dream we are choosing at this time. Carl Jung referred to this as “dreaming the dream onward.”
February 8, Friday. Today marks the monthly conjunction of the Moon with Uranus (17 Pisces) illuminating and transmitting the energy of the radical revolutionary or change agent. On the heals of the Aquarian Solar Eclipse the Moon with Uranus reminds us that the one thing we really know for sure is everything in this reality changes. Change drives each moment through time. When we really know and accept this, then we are finally fully experiencing the NOW. Being in the NOW is a radical place to live as it revolutionizes our life experience. Ekhart Tolle reminds us of the challenge of being identified with the mind and thus being trapped in Time and outside of a true NOW experience.
To be indentified with your mind is to be trapped in time: the compulsion to live almost exclusively through memory and anticipation. This creates an endless preoccupation with past and future and an unwillingness to honor and acknowledge the present moment and allow it to be. Moving out of past and future and taking a radical leap into the NOW releases our attachments to what has been and our anticipation of what is yet to be. Being here NOW is the only place, the only experience, the only truth that liberates our limited mind-based realities constructed in the illusions of past and future. Surrendering attachments to what we think life should be and Acceptance of what it IS in this moment are two primary keys to experience the liberation of living in the NOW reality.
February 9, Saturday. The Moon moves into Aries suggesting this is a great day for exploring unknown territory especially when directed toward a cause you feel passionate about. Engaging this energy requires trust and courage as well as the ability to spontaneously and intuitively respond to each moment. If you are wondering how to engage this energy, and don’t have a direction already, pick something fun and playful to do and then do it.
February 10, Sunday. Today is the annual conjunction of Sun and Neptune (22 Aquarius) marking a deepening of Neptune’s inner process intended to further develop and inspire our intuitive knowing and conscious dreaming. In Neptune’s world, change comes in ways that are NOT logical or rational but are directed by our dreaming energy that includes our thoughts, words and imaginings. The Sun acts as a doorway to the dreaming realms of Neptune strengthening the visions and dreams we are energizing now.
In Serge Kahili King’s book Urban Shaman - A Handbook for Personal and Planetary Transformation Based on the Hawaiian Way of the Adventurer there is a whole chapter on Changing the World with Shaman Dreaming. Essentially he describes processes for changing our night time dreams and our day time dreams. When we consciously work with making these changes we change our experience of this reality, as the world reflects what we are dreaming whether we are conscious of it or not.
King describes a process that uses affirmation, imagination and action to create a new dream. When the new dream has enough energy if becomes reality (that is, in shaman terms, it replaces the current dream). Consciously changing the dream of our current reality requires daily practice. He suggests recalling many times a day what it is you are dreaming into reality while breathing deeply and feeling positive feelings about this new dream. Imagine with all your senses as vividly as possible what it feels like, looks like, smells like, tastes like, sounds like, to be living the changes, benefits and pleasures of this dream as realistically as possible right now. When doubt or negative images threaten to derail you it helps to have a strong image and feeling sense of your dream to return to that will help dispel the doubts. February 11, Monday. The Eclipse Cauldron. Today is a good day to remember we are now in between Eclipses in an in-between cauldron space, or what I refer to as an Eclipse Cauldron that takes us through new doorways previously unknown or merely imagined. When we are operating in resonance with the natural cycles and rhythms of our world, magic happens! When we open our hearts and our awareness to these mysteries we become co-creative participants in the magic of life.
Neptune and Chiron are adding their energies to this cauldron, helping to bring in the new visions and dreams as well as the grand cosmic perspective that facilitates shamanic healing in highly unusual ways. The alchemy of our conscious dreaming is especially potent and powerful in this window. When we align with the intent of the celestial timings and natural cycles, we align with magic. Magic becomes our natural reality. We live in a magical world that continually calls us to remember who we are and to live the wondrous fulfillment of our divine destiny.
The Aquarian archetype works through the mysteries of Objective Awareness. Awareness is the key, the miracle, the magic that transforms reality. We don’t try and have different thoughts or feelings to change them. The key to change is Awareness because whatever is not an aspect of our essential nature will disappear when we place our awareness on it.
This may seem contrary to all the information out there on the Law of Attraction but ultimately it is part of what is missing in experiencing genuine change because “whatever we resist persists”. When we resist our anger, guilt, shame, fear, etc. and try to change it, get rid of it, make it be different than what it is, then we actually give it more energy. When we simply observe our feelings with Awareness, they will either deepen if they are an expression of who we truly are, or they will disappear if they are not.
Awareness is the magical key that easily and automatically allows our true essence to deepen. Love deepens with Awareness. Anger and hate disappear with Awareness. It is that simple. We are each responsible for finding what is right for ourselves and what really works. A powerful way to do this is by keeping a thread of Awareness running through all that we do. February 12, Tuesday. The Moon moves into Taurus energizing the mysteries of intimacy as a path to God. Being willing to know ourselves deeply and to deeply connect with others is an essential element in living a healthy, happy, joyful life. The key to healthy intimacy with others begins when we have a healthy intimate relationship with ourselves. Truly knowing we are worthy of this life experience no matter what has come before and learning to trust our self is also essential. Finding creative outlets for our self-expression helps us to find self-validation and learn to appreciate who we are.
February 13, Wednesday. Today is the First Quarter Moon (25 Taurus) visible directly overhead as the Sun sets. The Moon is passing by the Pleiades later tonight or early tomorrow. The Pleiades has been viewed as a Stargate portal and when the Moon passes by the portal is more easily accessed.
The First Quarter Moon represents a phase of rapid growth and in the Taurus mysteries this accelerated growth includes the mysteries of intimacy, receivership and savoring the beauty, joy and pleasure of life. In a culture that has taught us that it is more blessed to give than receive, the art of healthy receivership has been greatly misunderstood. This is rapidly changing as the Law of Attraction information and the importance of gratitude is suddenly everywhere. Genuine gratitude works best when we are grateful for ALL of life including the challenges.
February 14, Thursday. The Waxing Moon entered Gemini late last night or early this morning depending on your time zone and for the next 2 and ½ days transmits the mysteries of the coyote trickster who defies logic and rational behavior. The trickster is often found in acts of creation, destruction and practical jokes. The trickster reminds us of the power of being in the present moment, spontaneous, outrageous and fun. The trickster acts to reminds us that life is a cosmic joke and it helps not to take ourselves too seriously, to laugh at ourselves and remember that the world is not as real as it appears.
The Sun (25 Aquarius) is trine Mars (25 Gemini) today. Mars is the only outer planet that is NOT retrograde when it trines the Sun. Either it is just about to go retrograde or has just stationed direct as is the case with today’s trine. The Sun is illuminating the path Mars is moving toward in his new quest for creating safe, loving and nurturing experiences of home and family that transcend attachment to appearances.
February 15, Friday. The Moon conjuncts Mars (26 Gemini) near the Center of the Sacred Hoop. Noting where the Moon is tonight will help you locate Mars and the Sacred Hoop of Stars.. The Moon is approaching Mars tonight making the exact conjunction after mid-night in most time zones. Tomorrow night the Moon will be visible beyond Mars moving into the constellation of the Twins. Decisive creative action at this time can quickly and creatively accomplish much that is seemingly beyond the confines of duality and polarity.
February 16, Saturday. The Moon moves into Cancer crossing the center point of the Galactic Edge still near its Northern Extreme though it will have moved beyond the center point and into the Twins by Moon rise tonight. Although we have moved out of the exact Lunar Standstill window we are still experiencing the passage of the Moon over the Galactic Edge once each month very near the maximum lunar extreme meaning the Moon is beyond the boundaries of ordinary reality and it is up to us to engage this timing through what we envision, imagine and think about as conscious co-creators. This is an important time for imaging the world operating from the principle of cooperation that unifies and strengthens the greater whole, moving us from mere survival into a new world where everyone is safe to thrive.
Currently the underlying motivation in this world comes from fear and competition for domination and control. When we begin imaging and operating from love and cooperation then we are truly co-creating a new word experience that benefits and serves all life and there will be peace and plenty for all.
February 17, Sunday. Venus moves into Aquarius until March 12 where she dares to explore new territory, experimenting with new ideas and innovative ways, revolutionizing her divine feminine expression. This energy operates from a cosmic perspective shifting the current assemblage point through radical and often disruptive changes liberating us into expanded states of objective awareness and insight.
February 18, Monday. The Moon is moving through Leo reminding us of the importance of self-love as a valid path to fulfillment. Healthy, genuine love of self allows us to live and love life more fully.
Mercury Stations Direct (8 Aquarius 19) pausing as it shifts direction in the in-between place where great magic and alchemy are more easily accessed.
Sun Moves into Pisces where it remains until March 20. The Pisces realm encourages us to allow our imagination an opportunity to manifest through conscious dreaming. It is not about doing so much as it is about focusing on the dream and claiming it with certainty. When doubts arise it helps to embrace them, express them and then release them, bringing our attention back to the image of the fully realized dream as many times as necessary. February 19, Tuesday. Sun (0 Pisces 40) sextiles Pluto (0 Capricorn 40). Whenever the Sun aspects an outer planet it marks a phase in that planetary cycle and gives us a sense of where the planet is in relationship to its yearly cycle with the Sun. When an outer planet sextiles the Sun it is either marking the time before it goes retrograde or after it has stationed direct. Pluto will station retrograde on April 2 so we are in the Sun Pluto sextile that is occurring after the Sun Pluto conjunction that took place near the December Solstice and before the retrograde station of Pluto in a little over a month.
When the Sun and Pluto met in December something was seeded and now those seeds are stirring and beginning to find expression. This is perhaps when we will begin to get a clearer sense of what Pluto in Capricorn is energizing. There will also be one more brief passage of Pluto through the late degrees of Sagittarius along the Galactic Plane. What is the truth that will guide the dissolution of the current cultural and political structures that must be transformed according to natural law? What must we die to, surrender, release, let go of, now in order to birth a healthy new world?
February 20, Wednesday. This Virgo Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse (2 Virgo) is visible for at least part of the time in North, Central and South America, Greenland, Europe, and Africa. Remember, Eclipses open portals from the Great Above. These doorways are opportunities to consciously connect with what is hidden within in ourselves. A total Lunar Eclipse from our Earth-based perspective occurs when the Earth passes in a direct line between the Sun and the Moon. The Earth’s Shadow crosses over the face of the Full Moon.
February 20th's total lunar eclipse will be a prime-time event for skywatchers in the US and Canada. Totality lasts 52 minutes, with mid-eclipse occurring at 7:26 p.m. PST. This is an alignment of the Sun, the Moon and the Earth similar to the alignment of the tumblers in a combination lock opening a portal to previously unrealized planetary and personal codes. Eclipses accelerate change, clearing, eliminating, releasing, and transforming so we have the ability to more fully manifest our personal and collective codes in alignment with our divine design. When visible, Total Lunar Eclipses are an opportunity to witness all the phases of the Moon, from Full Moon to Full Moon, in about 3½ hours. This is a rapid acceleration in our space-time experience collapsing what is normally about a 30 day cycle to just over 3 hours.
This eclipse energy is conspiring to bring through the actively transformative messages that can dramatically shift our relational experience with the sacred patterning of life. The patterns are everywhere, in everything, at every level of creation. These patterns include growth, death, rebirth and all the cycles of life (including the planets around the Sun and in relationship to the Earth). Also included are the seasonal patterns, as well as vibrational patterns including light, sound and mathematics (especially sacred geometry).

These patterns or codes exist within every bit of creation, within every cell, molecule, atom, sub-atomic particle, galaxy, universe and so on. There are patterns within patterns and codes within codes all vibrating within the manifesting grids of our space-time experience and they contain all the information necessary for us to live in sacred harmony and relationship with all life. It is time to further invoke this sacred relationship through our words, thoughts and actions attuning to the information we all carry and can access within our own DNA. February 21, Thursday. Still well within the energy of yesterdays eclipse the Virgo Moon is opposite retrograde Saturn (5 Virgo) in the early morning hours Pacific time. This is an especially powerful transmission from the freshly eclipsed Moon further illuminating the structural nature of Saturn to the archetypal Web of Life. Shamanic traditions referred to the Web of Life and Quantum Physics describes a field of Energy that connects everything.
If you are feeling on-going resistance around any of your efforts or projects in the world it may be a message that this is not in alignment with your pattern. Spider reminds us of the importance of where and how we weave our web. When spider weaves her web in the proper location all she needs comes to her. Saturn represents the structure or form of our individual and collective web. This is a good time to notice if the pattern you are living now is working for you? If your web or the structure of your life is not drawing to you what you need to fulfill your life purpose then it is time to consider weaving a new web by looking more deeply into your own pattern, including noticing coincidences around you and the messages you are receiving from your environment.
February 22, Friday. Today, tomorrow and the day after, the Sun will be very near the royal fixed star Fomalhaut in the constellation of the southern fish or whale. Fomalhaut is the 17th brightest star in our night sky and is the most prominent star visible near the constellation of the Water Bearer. Fomalhaut is located beneath the Water Bearer and marks the open mouth of the fish who is gathering the water droplets or nectar falling from the water jar. The imagery of Kwan Yin holding the water jar over the dragon's mouth was inspired by this area of the sky.
The Moon was near Fomalhaut in the August 2007 Lunar Eclipse and now the Sun is near this star during the February 2008 Lunar Eclipse. This is a great time for working with the imagery of the healing nectar falling easily into the mouth of the fish healing the wounds generated from the misconceptions of genuine compassion and self-sacrifice. The original meaning of the word “sacrifice” was “to make sacred”.
February 23, Saturday. The waning Moon is traveling through Libra reminding us that all our relationships are sacred opportunities to know and relate to the divine within us. Recognizing the divine essence in everyone including ourselves helps to facilitate healthy, loving, nurturing relationships. A really great question to ask regardless of whether you are feeling challenged or delighted by your relationships is… What would love do now? This is a powerful general question to ask whenever you feel confused or uncertain about how to proceed. This is because questions generate answers but the quality of our answers depends on the quality of our questions. Good questions lead us to good answers and helps us to find our way.
February 24, Sunday. The Sun (5 Pisces) opposes retrograde Saturn (5 Virgo) marking the center point of the current Saturn retrograde cycle. Contrary to popular belief that a planet is diminished when it is retrograde from the Earth’s perspective what we see from Earth is a retrograde planet is always closest and brightest in appearance during its retrograde cycle.
Saturn travels through Virgo for over two years every 28 to 29 years providing us with an opportunity to restructure our relationship with the sacred patterning of life. The Sun in Pisces links us to the power of conscious dreaming and co-creation of our reality so we can reweave a new web of experience. This Timing is similar to a Full Moon only it is Saturn that is opposite the Sun and that provides an illumination that can help us see more clearly the structures that are no longer serving.
February 25, Monday. The waning Moon will be visible near Spica tonight before moving into Scorpio reminding us of the importance of facing our fears and transforming them so ultimately we are no longer at the effect of them. In Frank Herbert’s book , Dune, and then the movie that was made from the book, there is a litany that inspires the process of facing fear.
"I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain."
February 26, Tuesday. Mercury and Venus conjunct (11 Aquarius) within 2 degrees of each other for 7 days from February 25 to March 2. Venus passes under Mercury, appearing little more than one degree below Mercury low on the eastern horizon about 45 minutes before sunrise. This is a time for the sacred feminine (Venus) to be listening for the messages (Mercury) that assist her in experiencing a successful underworld journey. Venus still has two more gates to pass through before arriving in the underworld. Taking time to listen to the inner voice within may bring surprising messages.
February 27, Wednesday. The Moon is moving into Sagittarius late tonight or early tomorrow morning depending on your time zone and illuminating the quest for truth and meaning. The next couple of days are great for reflecting on your personal truths, beliefs, and practices and how well they serve your current life expression. Are they healthy and balanced, or are they excessive and ultimately limiting your life experience as a result? If you don’t have any spiritual practices maybe its time to find ways to pray or meditate or otherwise connect in with spirit or source. Being open to change, taking time to go within, releasing attachments to outcome, meditating, and simply being with what IS are potent ways to support a fulfilling spiritual quest.
February 28, Thursday. The Last Quarter Moon (10 Sagittarius) is .61 degrees SSW of the fixed Royal Star Antares marking the heart of the Scorpion. Antares is a stargate portal 
and one of the four royal stars, watcher of the West. According to Bernadette Brady’s book on The Fixed Stars, all four of the royal stars (including Regulus, Aldebaran, and Fomalhaut) are linked with their own unique teachings, special powers and successes when we are able to meet their challenges as part of the heroic journey of life. Antares is also associated with archangel Uriel guardian of the mysteries of peace and inspiration. In Hebrew Uriel means “Flame of God” or “Fire of God” and personifies the divine flame that originates from universal mind. This is the fire of creation as spirit descends into density and form.
February 29, Friday. Happy Leap Year! Today is a date that happens once every 4 years as way of keeping our Solar Calendar on track and today marks the fifth Friday we are having this month. That is because the month began on Friday and it’s a leap year. Having 5 Fridays in February occurs every 28 years from 1904 to 2096. 1980 marked the last time there were five Fridays in February and it won’t happen again until 2036. The powerful Aquarian activation continues as we end the month with North Node at 27 Aquarius, Neptune at 22 Aquarius, Chiron at 17 Aquarius, Venus at 15 Aquarius and Mercury at 13 Aquarius. Venus and the North Node join on March 10 and Mercury joins with the North Node on Mar 12. Meanwhile Neptune and Chiron and the North Node are in close proximity for the next several months with an exact meeting of Neptune and the North Node on May 4 and Chiron and the North Node are exact on June 2. All this is to say that the revolutionary energies of this month are continuing on into the months ahead. Change is guaranteed, it is up to us to be awake and aware so we can consciously participate.
