Mars glares near the center of a huge quadrilateral of bright stars: Capella, Aldebaran, Betelgeuse, and Pollux. Sky & Telescope diagram and is located in the Center of the Sacred Hoop in the area of the Sky where the Summer Solstice Sun rises at the Galactic Edge.
January 2008 Celestial Timings

an ancient "School of Prophets" understood much about the cosmos and used natural time-cycles to mark out the course of history. For them the cosmos seemed somehow much closer and more relevant than it does today.
Among other things they believed that there were specific doorways or gates leading in and out of "heaven". These portals were believed to be located at the points where the ecliptic (the pathway followed by the sun in its annual progression along the zodiac) crosses over the Milky Way.
Significantly the Sun now sits at one or other of these gateways at the solstices. By a process of analogy: "As Above, so Below", this indicates that it is now that these "stargates" are opening. Adrian Gilbert http://www.adriangilbert.co.uk/docus/books/signs.html
Earth remains in the midst of a rare 144 year Galactic Alignment that happens about every 26,000 years. The main focus of this alignment will last at least 62 more years, perhaps longer. 2008 also marks three crossings of Pluto over the December Solstice marker (a once in 248 year occurrence) Pluto acts as a key that further unlocks this portal for an even deeper more powerful transformative experience. Plus, we are counting down four more years to 2012. The exact date of Dec 21, 2012 may not be any more or less significant than the next 4 years but with all the power of intention and attention focused on 2012 there is certainly a noticeable paradigm shift already underway that may very well culminate in 2012.
More than ever it seems important to be informed and aware of what is going on behind the scenes so we can make informed conscious choices as we engage and navigate these times. In 2008 that just so happens to include a presidential election year in the United States.
That is why I am urging everyone (even if you have already seen this) to check out the movie Zeitgeist as a way to begin investigating what has been hidden and repressed. (This movie is free on the internet at this URL http://zeitgeistmovie.com/index.html or you can buy it for around $5)
And there is a new novel Infinity's Flower A Tale of 2012 and the Great Shift of the Ages, by Jack Allis, an intriguing and compelling read about these issues. Plus, Jack references the Shamanic Astrology Mystery School in both the introduction and in the story.
With Jupiter’s recent move, and Pluto’s upcoming move, into Capricorn and Saturn’s recent move into Virgo we are being asked to look closely at what is working or not working in this middle world reality and to make informed choices in choosing new structures that will benefit all sentient life as well as our beloved Earth.
Along the same lines, The Story of Stuff, is another 20 minute reminder of why it is important to take responsibility for our choices and the resources we are consuming on a daily basis. http://www.storyofstuff.com
This is a time of great change and we have many seemingly new forms of energy now available to help with this transition. Deeksha is one of those powerful blessings of energy available to us now. http://www.deeksha.com Sri Bhagavan founder, along with his wife Amma, of the Oneness Movement here to spread Deeksha reminds us of the essence of Peace.
"If you want peace you should not search for it. You must realize when you put in effort to get peace, that very effort destroys peace. Effort in any form in the inner world is conflict. You are here; you want to go elsewhere. So, you put in effort. That effort is the conflict. But if you would realize that effort is destructive and that effort does not take you anywhere, it would automatically drop. Absence of effort is peace."--Sri Bhagavan
My feeling is the initial encounter of Pluto and Jupiter in Capricorn reminds us of how we have been powerless over certain world events. It is not about resisting or fighting against but rather it is about transforming the shadow through the light of our conscious awareness and the choices we make. Embracing our fear and all the feelings we have around the lies and deception we as a culture are at the effect helps facilitate the death of the old paradigm preparing the way for something new and magnificent to birth. And so it is!!!
Visible Planets

Some Stars Worth Noting in of January
In January you can see the two brightest stars of the constellation of the Twins, Castor and Pollux, begin this month rising North of East not long after Sunset. The white star Castor rises about 25 minutes before the yellow star Pollux. Very prominent in the January sky is what we refer to as the Sacred Hoop of Stars as defined by the Lakota Nation. This Hoop includes Castor and Pollux, Procyon, Sirius, Rigel, the Pleiades and Capella. At the center of this Hoop is the Galactic Edge. Mars is stationing just to the right of this area of the sky within 6 degrees of the Summer Solstice marker at the center of the Hoop.
Betelguese is the bright red star inside the Sacred Hoop Marking the shoulder of Orion. (Some sources say the word Betelguese translates as armpit). Rigel is the bright Blue Star in Orion that marks his foot.
In January the Big Dipper stands up like a question mark. This is opposite of the head of the Lion that appears as a reverse question mark and Regulus marks the dot on the reverse mark.

Comet Tuttle is small and green, the color of the gases C2 and CN fluorescing in sunlight. (Comet Holmes, by contrast, is the white color of sunlight reflected from dust.) "The sky was perfectly clear at sunset on Christmas Day, which permitted my first look at 8P/Tuttle," writes photographer Doug Zubenel in Kansas. "With long, careful observations using averted vision, I could barely pick the comet out with my naked eye!" He took this 2-minute exposure with a 300mm lens at f/5.6 on a Hutech-modified Canon Rebel XTi camera set at ISO 800. Doug Zubenel http://www.skyandtelescope.com/observing/ataglance

Daily Timings For January
January 1, Tuesday. Happy New Year!. New Year begins with an emphasis on Heart Energy and the Divine Feminine as the Moon is visible just 2.1 degrees S.S.W of Spica (24 Libra) in the early morning sky. By 5:32 pm Pacific Time and 8:32 pm Eastern the Moon moves into Scorpio energizing the mysteries of death, rebirth and transformation. Also today we find the South Node is conjunct Regulus something that can only occur every 19 years. Regulus is the heart of the Lion and one of the four Royal stars of ancient Times. The South Node crossing Regulus is preparing the way for the only Moon occultation over Regulus this year on January 24. The South Node has been conjunct Regulus (29 Leo) since December 19 and remains within 6 degrees of this magical (Behenian Star) until mid-May 2008. What are the ancient mysteries of the Heart that help serve us in moving toward our unfolding destiny that is heart-directed?
Spica and Regulus are two of fifteen Behenian Stars thought to have their power and accessibility enhanced when planets were within six degrees of them. Moon occulations over these stars are extraordinary amplifications of these star energies.
The Behenian fixed star Spica is marking the hand of the Virgin Priestess (aka the constellation Virgo-see Difference between Signs and Constellations ) where she is sometimes thought to be holding corn or wheat. Other interpretations are derived from a Greek word meaning "the Singing Sibyl" (Sibyl who uttered prophesies). In Babylonia Spica was known as Sa-Sha-Shiru," the Virgin's Girdle" and the Hindus knew this star as Citra, meaning "Bright" and it was their 12th nakshatra, figured as a Lamp, or as a Pearl. http://users.winshop.com.au/annew/alphabet1.htm
With the Bright Moon acting as a transmitter for Spica it suggests a bright beginning for 2008 especially when we take time to tune in to what the messages are for us. Many cultures had different names and descriptions for Spica. This suggests it is up to us to develop our own relationship with Spica and the other fixed stars as we are continually in a growing evolving relationship with them.
When considering Spica, there is a sense of being open to the prophetic messages that may be available now further empowering New Year’s intentions. This becomes even more relevant when we consider the New Year activations around Sirius as described in the December 31, 2007 Celestial Timings now in the archives. (also See January 2)
January 2, Wednesday. Retrograde Mars (29 Gemini) has moved back into Gemini and is opposite Pluto (29 Sagittarius) with both planets now aligned along the Galactic Plane. This is a rare alignment because Pluto only passes by Galactic Center every 248 years and Mars only passes by the anti-center every two years and two months and is usually not retrograde when it passes this area of the sky. This is the second pass of Mars in opposition to Pluto since the September Equinox. The last pass will occur on March 7, 2008.
Mars is the activating masculine principle currently questing for new ways to create safe nurturing space for everyone to show up in their true divine expression. Pluto is the initiator that brings the shadow to conscious light providing an exceptionally significant opportunity to release all obsessions, beliefs, and fears that prevent the fulfillment of this intent. All unresolved shadow energies may be manifesting now, intensifying fear and the drive to control and dominate each other and our world. Recognizing and acknowledging the fear and the gifts the fear brings helps facilitate a gentler transformational process.
January 3, Thursday. Today the Sun is closest to the Earth (known as perihelion) in its annual cycle. The Sun symbolizes the source of light and life for our planet. (It is interesting to note that on July 4 the Earth is farthest from the Sun (aphelion) this year.) Consciously noting the Sun’s energy today helps to align us with any Solar Attunements that are now coming through.
The Moon moved into Scorpio late afternoon on January 1 and is passing through the Constellation of Scales conjuncting the primary stars of this constellation known as Zuben Algenubi (15 Scorpio) a.k.a. the star of purpose and Zuben Alshamali (19 Scorpio) the emerald northern star that ancient Arabs referred to as “the star of full price”. These two primary stars of the Scales (a.k.a Libra) represent the balance point between yin and yang, male and female, Heaven and Earth and so on. Again this is a reminder of the importance of balance, of sacred union within ourselves and in our world.
January 4, Friday. Moon moves into Sagittarius and conjuncts Venus (6 Sagittarius) at the 5th gate 3rd Chakra as told in the Sumerian myth of Inanna’s descent into the underworld. This represents the Gate of Power where Venus or (Inanna) gives up her waist belt representing all the ways she given her power away to others or not used if for herself or how she has not taken responsibility for using the power she has to create her reality.
Seth, the internationally acclaimed spiritual teacher who spoke through author Jane Roberts while she was in trance, coined the phrase “You Create Your Own Reality”. Seth reminded us that what we believe is true, is what creates our reality...
“As I have told you, there is little difference if you believe that your present life is caused by incidents in your early infancy or by past lives over which equally you feel you have no control. Your events, your lives, your experiences, are caused by your present beliefs. Change the beliefs and your life changes.” –Seth http://www.sethlearningcenter.org
This helps to remind us that the power to create our reality is based in the present moment and the conscious choices we are making right now. This is a time for releasing the old beliefs that disempower our experience in this reality. One way to experience this is to get up and visually connect with the Moon near Venus in the early morning sky before Sunrise (if you have clear skies of course). It may also help to ask through meditation or journaling what is ready to be released for the purpose of empowering your co-creative experience in this reality.

January 5, Saturday. Jupiter (4 Capricorn) and Pluto (29 Sagittarius) are still within 5 degrees of each other aligned near the Galactic Plane. Today Jupiter may be visible about half hour before sunrise with a low horizon line having just moved 10 degrees away from the Sun.
The Moon is making the first of 10 occulations over the fixed Star Antares. Antares is one of the four Royal stars known to the Persians as "The Watcher of the West". The ancients believed that as a Royal Star Antares had the power to bring great success but could also be the cause of a great undoing or downfall if the driven by excessive obsessiveness actions were coming from excess. The Antares stargate near Galactic Center and the Golden Gate of “Sagittarius” is where the souls of humanity ascend away from this realm. The ancient Egyptians understood Antares as a portal to the pyramid mysteries and built temples sites and pyramids with specific features for capturing Antares rising. The pyramid mysteries remind us that every level of physical manifestation and evolution is related to sacred geometric pyramidal forms facilitating energetic dimensional shifts.
For humanity to move beyond three-dimensional reality, we are required to go integrate th three-dimensional pyramidal light fields. This is why the ancients saw the pyramids as a gateway to the stars and universal intelligence, because pyramids synthesize space, time, and matter forming the ideal focus for star energy transmissions. Visualizing these stargates as three dimensional pyramids of light helps us to receive the transmission the Moon is sending us from Antares during these successive occultations.
January 6, Sunday. Today is celebrated as Epiphany (also known as the "The Adoration of the Magi" or "The Manifestation of God") ending the twelve days of Christmas as calculated in traditional times. Mythically, this is the time when the Three Kings, Three Wise Men or Three Magi: Caspar, Melchior and Balthasar are honored for following the star to Bethlehem and bringing the gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh to the Christ child.
January 6 was the original date celebrating the birth of Christ and is still recognized and celebrated by the Eastern Christian Orthodox Church. However, in the fourth century, the Western Christian Church adopted December 25 as the date of the Feast of Christ's birth giving rise to the tradition of the "12 Days of Christmas." The following quote gives an interesting view of how this time was celebrated…
On the evening before Three Kings, traditionally there were prayers, blessed dried herbs would be burnt and their aromatic smell would fill the house. Doorways would be sprinkled with holy water and the master of the house would write with chalk C + M + B and the year above the house and barn door and say: "Caspar, Melchior, Balthasar, behütet uns auch für dieses Jahr, vor Feuer und vor Wassergefahr." ("CMB, protect us again this year from the dangers of fire and water.") C + M + B has traditionally been translated with Caspar, Melchior and Balthasar, however, according to the Church it stands for "Christus Mansionem Benedictat" (Christ bless this home). http://www.serve.com/shea/germusa/3kings.htm
Also today the Sun (15 Capricorn) is sextile Uranus (15 Pisces), and Venus (8 Sagittarius) is square retrograde Saturn (8 Virgo) grounding a sense of practical reality to the mystical, celestial, truth seeking energies of Uranus in Pisces and Venus in Sagittarius. These aspects provide us with an opportunity to ask how we can reach for the true divine expression within each of us and find genuine healthy ways to express that in ways that reverently support the Earth and all who live here?
January 7, Monday. As we begin this Capricorn New Moon window exact tomorrow, Mercury is entering Aquarius where it remains until March 14 due to its retrograde station on January 28 at 24 Aquarius. Mercury will cross Chiron and Neptune three times over the next few weeks intensifying the messages of the Aquarian Ideal stating that every human should have the freedom to choose (and take responsibility for) their own evolutionary path. Over the next few weeks we are in a time that is about radical shifts in what we believe is the true nature of reality as these energies conspire to liberate us from what we think we know that actually limits our experience. And…don’t forget to back up you computer and other data as this is time when systems crash more frequently.
January 8, Tuesday. The Capricorn New Moon is at 17 Capricorn 33 and Venus is conjunct Antares. (See January 5 for more about Antares). This is time for seeding new systems of manifestation as Jupiter (and soon Pluto) travel through this domain. The old system says we have to work hard to create structures in the third dimensional world of form. Abraham reminds us through Esther Hicks that:
People will say, "Well, I have to work on my goals," or, "I have to work on my visualization." And we want you to think more about holding the vision because it is pleasurable to hold the vision, not because you're trying to make the vision work in order to get to some place that you're not now standing. "How much should I work?" We would say, work in the sense of joyously moving forward.
Excerpted from a workshop in North Los Angeles, CA on Monday, August 13th, 2001
When we are joyously aligned with what we are envisioning then we attract the people, places, and things that more easily support that particular manifestation. Doing less, while dreaming, visioning, and feeling gratitude for what we desire to create draws that manifestation to us with minimal effort.
January 9, Wednesday. Moon is moving into Aquarius until January 11 energizing the mysteries of the radical, revolutionary change. The Aquarian Dispensation advocates for all to have the freedom to choose their evolutionary path. The Aquarian Ideal recognizes our individuality as it expresses through universal principles and embraces the importance of honoring all the places on the wheel of life even if they are radically different than our own.
January 10, Thursday. Moon is conjunct Chiron (13 Aquarius) and occults Neptune (20 Aquarius). The Aquarius Moon and now Mercury in Aquarius are crossing Chiron and Neptune helping to heal the wounds that prevent us from feeling we have the right and the freedom to choose our spiritual path. It may help to ask how to heal the wounds we have encountered from the old paradigm that says we are NOT good enough and we need to prove ourselves worthy to once again be acceptable to God? We might ask how we can release any effects of these old belief systems even if we are certain we no longer believe them? We might ask how we can shift our internal assemblage point to fully know we are divine beings and are free to live and express our divinity here and now?
January 11, Friday. Moon conjuncts the North Node (28 Aquarius) and then Moon moves into Pisces. With the Moon, North Node, Mercury, Neptune, and Chiron all in Aquarius the directional arrow of the next few weeks is strongly pointed toward radical, innovative, revolutionary change supporting those who are willing to wake up and live there true destiny beyond what is being manipulated by political, religious, and economic propaganda that only serves an elite few as they position themselves to gain even greater power and control over the masses. Aquarius is a leading archetype that recognizes the power of transcending the appearances of “this” reality creating a mass awakening through reaching a critical threshold of consciousness exposing and dissolving the illusions that have defined this reality. Invoking the Violet Flame, Meditation, focused intention and attention, and other forms of light energy such as Deeksha, Reiki, etc are all ways to participate with this Timing over the next few weeks.
January 12, Saturday. Venus (16 Sagittarius) squares Uranus (16 Pisces) and Moon conjuncts Uranus energizing the divine feminine in a cosmic multi-dimensional vision originating in the Celestial Realms as they are being beamed to the Earth via the Moon as a message of inspiration for this rapidly changing middle world experience.
January 13, Sunday. Moon moves into Aries transmitting the mysteries of trust, spontaneity, courage, willingness and the power of committed, inspired action to create our reality. Today is a good day to pick something fun or something you are fully committed to doing and do it.
January 14, Monday. Venus is within 6 degrees of the fixed star Ras Alhague in the constellation of Ophiucus from today until January 24 exact on January 19. In addition to being one of the magical Behenian stars whose power is amplified when a planet is within 6 degrees Page Bryant tells us in her book Starwalking: Shamanic Practices for Traveling into the Night Sky, that this is a dark star doing “light” work by bringing the shadow to light. This includes the patterns of fear we are at the affect of individually and collectively. Utilizing the transformative energy of the Serpent Bearer (Ophiucus), this is a time for taking greater responsibility for our own shadow including any fear preventing us from consciously using our divinely given talents and gifts. Physical movement assists the integration process in this space time reality.
January 15, Tuesday. The Aries First Quarter Moon (25 Aries) accelerates any actions, ideas, concepts or beliefs we are strongly committed to furthering. Both the sign of Aries and the first quarter moon phase represent rapid growth so it is important to be clear about where you are focusing your thoughts and energies on as they have the potential to grow more quickly than usual.
January 16, Wednesday. The Moon moved into Taurus late yesterday reminding us of the importance of being grateful for, and enjoying, the present moment.
Venus (20 Sagittarius) is sextiling Neptune (20 Aquarius) emphasizing the divine feminine connection to the Celestial Realms of inspiration and expanded states of conscious opening wide multiple channels into multi-dimensional cosmic overviews. With the Moon in Aries this is great time to take committed decisive action designed to ground these insights and visions in manifest form.
January 17, Thursday. The Moon moves into Gemini or the realm of the coyote trickster reminding us that nothing is as real as it appears while the trickster Mercury is conjuncting Chiron (14 Aquarius) suggesting healing messages designed to help us get in touch with the BIG picture, and shifting awareness beyond the box of everyday reality that has limited our perception of life, are available to us when we are aware of these questions and open to receiving the answers. This is a great time to do some kind of meditation or journeying around how we can be healthy conscious participants in the revolutionary unusual changes already occurring.
January 18, Friday. Chiron is in the degrees of the February Cross-Quarter (15 Aquarius) between the December Solstice and the March Equinox. This means Chiron is passing the “in-between” point from one Solar Gate to the next. Many ancient cultures, particularly the Celts, celebrated the Sun’s passage over these cross-quarter points as important festivals marking seasonal changes. The February Cross-Quarter was thought to be a time when radical changes occurred behind the scenes. Seeds were breaking open and new territory was being explored. Shamanic Healer Chiron is making its third and final pass for about 50 years by these degrees. The question this transit asks is: What fears of the unknown are ready to be healed and transformed???
January 19, Saturday. The Lunar Standstill Moon (still within one degree of its maximum northern standstill declination) occults retrograde Mars (also near its maximum northern declination at the Galactic Edge). The Cancer mysteries focusing on nurturing safety in close relationships with family and friends are being accelerated today as Mars continues to gather insight and information before setting out to accomplish the tasks or tests of the current Mars cycle that began on December 24, 2007 when Mars was brightest and closest to the Earth rising as the Sun set.
Venus (24 Sagittarius) opposes retrograde Mars (24 Gemini) as they continue their separate journeys until next September when they will once again meet in Libra.
January 20, Sunday. The Lunar Standstill Moon is moving into Cancer and is still near 28 degrees declination meaning the Moon is rising almost as far North on the horizon as possible although it is now nearly one full degree less than it has been over the last two years. A term used by some to describe this is the “out of bounds” Moon. This means the Moon is outside the boundaries of the Sun’s maximum declination and reaching beyond the bounds of ordinary reality. When the Moon is in Cancer it is also now aligned along the Galactic Edge reaching beyond this Galaxy for new insights.
The Sun Moves into Aquarius where it remains until Feb 18 illuminating the mysteries of the radical revolutionary, and the seasonal energy when the seeds (planted at the December Solstice) are breaking free of their outer casings. This is why we find that Aquarius is always seeking new territory and experimenting with innovative new ways that revolutionize current ideas and beliefs.
January 21, Monday. Jupiter (7 Capricorn) trines Saturn (7 Virgo) reminding us how these two middle world planets (both visible in the morning sky) are conspiring to assist us in creating a new relationship around our sacred connection to the Earth and the Sky and all of life. The old forms are obviously NOT working, so we are being called upon to find and establish new forms of sustainable living. This alignment is active most of this year and will soon include Pluto’s move into Capricorn as well.
January 22, Tuesday. The Full Moon in Leo (2 Leo) with Mercury conjunct Neptune (21 Aquarius) is a time for remembering that we are co-creators of this reality and it is up to us to dream the dreams that will establish a new form for a New World based in the principles of egalitarian cooperation that supports healthy sustainable living. Mercury has reached as far from the Sun as it can in this evening star appearance before beginning its dive back toward the Sun going retrograde on January 28.
January 23, Wednesday. Venus conjunct Pluto (29 Sagittarius) represents the Sacred Feminine meeting with the underworld Shamanic Initiator Pluto. Pluto’s job is to call out the shadow from the depths of our personal and collective fears bringing them fully into our awareness and experience. When we are willing to engage Pluto’s alchemical process, it is our courage to transform that guides us.
January 24, Thursday. Venus moves into Capricorn until February 17. With Pluto’s move into Capricorn tomorrow we have two planets moving across the Galactic Gateway about the same time. (See Jan 25)
Also today the Moon moves into Virgo until January 26 transmitting the mysteries of Spider Woman who weaves the web. In Norse mythology the web or pattern of life was known as wyrd and the weavers of this wyrd or fate were the Norns known by the names of Urd (the past), Verdandi (the being) and Skuld (what is to come). The archaic definition of weird according to Webster’s is: “concerned with controlling fate or destiny.” It is interesting to note that weird now seems to be something we consider to be outside of normal or what we expect as normal life. Is this because we have forgotten our relationship in co-creating the patterning of life? Maybe our sense of weird or abnormal is more weird than its original meaning. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norn
In the novel The Wolf and the Raven, Diana Paxton shares this imagery:
The Norns spin out threads but we weave them into the pattern’…. ‘Wyrd is always becoming. When we understand, we will what must be.
This reminds us we are active co-creators with the unfolding mysteries. We inform the mysteries as much as they inform us when we are willing to be conscious and to engage a sacred relationship with what we are co-weaving in the wyrd tapestry of life.
January 25, Friday. Pluto moves into Capricorn and will retrograde back into Sagittarius on June 13 returning to Capricorn on November 26 where it remains until November 19, 2024. We have been in the process of HUGE planetary awakening and shifting from the old structures that have enslaved humanity for many eons. The synchronistic move of Pluto into Capricorn signals a time of demolishing the old structures that have limited our sense of how powerful and amazing we human beings really are.
Pluto now near Galactic Center, and crossing the intersection point of where the Milky Way and the Ecliptic meet marks a once in 248 year passage. This event becomes even more amazing when we consider this is also the place in the sky where the December Solstice marker of zero Capricorn is now located. So Pluto crossing here at zero Capricorn is an event that can only happen once in a 26,000 year shift of the ages. (See a Shamanic Look At the Turning of the Ages)
When we include Pluto’s passage over zero Capricorn with the fact that it will be crossing this point three times this year, and will coincide with Pluto making one last return to Sagittarius later this year, we know we have an opportunity to experience a massive dissolution of the enormous political, religious and economic deception, domination, manipulation and control that most of humanity has been, and still is, unwittingly at the effect of enslaving us to a reality that isn’t real except that we believe that it is.
It is time for humanity to wake up and to be responsible for our individual and collective worlds. It is not about resisting these limiting forces as that only gives them greater strength and power. It is about waking up so the upcoming changes emerge from wisdom and love empowering us to express our true nature. (See January Introduction)
This is just the beginning of a looong process no less dramatic than what happens when the caterpillar becomes the butterfly. (See January 31)
January 26, Saturday. The Moon moves into Libra transmitting the mysteries of Conscious Equal Partnership or how we learn more about ourselves through the interaction with the other.
In her book A Return To Love Marianne Williamson reminds us how each relationship or each encounter with another is a holy experience. She says…When you meet anyone, remember it is a holy encounter. As you see him (or her), you will see yourself. AS you think of him (or her) you will think of yourself. Never forget this, for in him (or her) you will find yourself or lose yourself.
This is a time for noticing if you are losing yourself in your current relationships or if you are finding more of who you are through them.
January 27, Sunday. Pluto (0 Capricorn), Venus (2 Capricorn and is in Capricorn until Feb 17) and Jupiter (8 Capricorn and is in Capricorn until January 2009) are all within 8 degrees or each other. This is a time for asking wise questions that help us to engage new, more empowering forms of living cooperatively on the Earth.
January 28, Monday. The Moon passes by Spica for the second time this month. In the book Starlight Elixirs and Cosmic Vibrational Healing by Michael Smulkis and Fred Rubenfeld we are told Spica has the ability to transfer awareness from the Super Conscious to the waking conscious mind, and Spica can also enhance lucid dreaming states and psychic abilities brining the principle of oneness more fully into our conscious minds. (See January 1)
Mercury (24 Aquarius) stations retrograde until February 18 energizing an outside the box process of freedom oriented, innovative thinking that includes a cosmic overview BIG picture perspective intended to revolutionize current perceptions of reality. This Mercury Retrograde is dancing with Neptune (Jan 22) and Chiron (Jan 17) having already passed them once and will return for two more activations in the Celestial (Neptune) and in the Underworld (Chiron) over the next couple of months, for maximum initiatory possibilities during this retrograde process. This creates a possibility of having our minds blown in a good way or realizing that what we thought we knew may be more than we imagined. Meanwhile, here is another reminder to back up your computer and other data as technology is more sensitive during this time.
January 29, Tuesday. The Scorpio Last Quarter Moon (10 Scorpio) is rising nearly exact sometime around Midnight. This is a time for bringing forth what we have transmuted and transformed in the past so it can be shared as the medicine or gifts we give ourselves and those around us. Additionally the Sacred Feminine principle Venus (7 Capricorn) is trine structural oriented Saturn (7 Virgo) similar to what was shared on January 21. The combination of the Scorpio Last Quarter Moon with Venus and Saturn trine is a timing that can be used for powerful, passionate manifestation of new wise ways of living in sacred and shamanic relationship with the Earth.
January 30, Wednesday. Mars stations direct (24 Gemini) creating a Still Point shift for the masculine principle. Mars represents the Sacred Masculine principle and is taking time to pause as it shifts direction. This pause is occurring within two and half degrees of the fixed star El Nath, a fixed star marking one of the horns of the Bull. Mars is at its brightest appearance and closest to the Earth in its 26 month cycle when it is retrograde suggesting that (contrary to some astrological views) Mars is at its greatest strength and impact as it is most visually stunning when it is opposite the Sun (that occurred on December 24, 2007). Mars has been fading during this month and will dim to the brightness of Saturn in February. This is a time for noting how the masculine principle is expressing within and around you. The current Mars quest is focused on finding fun ways to nurture self and others.
January 31, Thursday. The Moon moves into Sagittarius transmitting the mysteries associated with quest for Truth and Meaning. A great way to engage the Sagittarius Mysteries is to watch the movie Zeitgeist available free on the internet. http://zeitgeistmovie.com/index.html (See January Introduction)
Zeitgeist, produced by Peter Joseph, was created as a nonprofit filmiac expression to inspire people to start looking at the world from a more critical perspective and to understand that very often things are not what the population at large think they are.
Peter Joseph said…It is my hope that people will not take what is said in the film as the truth, but find out for themselves, for truth is not told, it is realized.
Additionally, one of the best ways to change the effect of the deceptions that have been perpetrated on humanity is to work from the principles of Physics especially Quantum Mechanics as in the movie “What the Bleep do we Know?” Our thoughts and feelings attract experiences that match the energy we are vibrating with as a result of where we are focusing our attention. Abraham, as channeled by Esther Hicks, reminds us of the power of our thoughts and feelings to create our reality.
It's not your work to make anything happen. It's your work to dream it and let it happen. Law of Attraction will make it happen. In your joy, you create something, and then you maintain your vibrational harmony with it, and the Universe must find a way to bring it about. That's the promise of Law of Attraction.
