November 2007 Celestial Timings
By Cayelin K Castell

Celebration is the only true prayer;
it is the only way we can show our gratitude to God...
Renouncing life is complaining against God.
Life is a great gift …be thankful for it.

Daily Celestial Timings
November 1, Thursday. The Leo Last Quarter Moon (9 Leo) is occurring along with the Station of Mercury going Direct today at 23 Libra near the fixed star Spica. This is powerful energy on this All Saints Day (See November 2006 Archives) as we enter the time of year when the veils between the worlds is thinnest. Spica is one of the magical Behenian stars and is noted for being the 15th brightest star in our night sky.

In China, Spica is known as the star of Kio who was a Great and Ancient Azure Dragon representing springtime renewal. In India, Spica was the star Citra who possessed maya or the power of creating the manifest world through the mysteries of magic and magicians. They also considered Spica to be a Lamp, or a Pearl denoting wisdom. In Arabia, Spica was known as al-Simak and was considered favorable for healing. The Romans believed Spica to be the goddess Ceres. The Egyptians saw Spica as the Lute-Bearer and they built a temple in Thebes oriented to Spica's setting around 3200 B.C. The Greeks saw Spica as Astrea, Goddess of Justice, that later was symbolized in the Tarot Cards holding the scales of justice, and Spica was also the light in the lantern of the Hermit card.

Thus, we know Spica is a star associated with the Divine Feminine, and Messenger Mercury is Stationing, or stopping, or pausing to receive a deeper teaching from Spica. Lucid dreaming, transferring conscious awareness more fully to the waking mind, and physical healing are all gifts this star brings. (See November 29.)

The Messenger (Mercury) with the Goddess (Spica) is reminding us they are not outside of us when we are willing to embrace our inner knowing, our inner wisdom, our inner light. Mercury and Spica remain within 6 degrees of each other until November 10 so reception of various magical messages remains heightened until then. Then on November 23, Venus will be in range of Spica until December 4. (See November 29, 2007.)

November 2, Friday. Many cultures around the world celebrate this time as the Day of the Dead and many traditions believe that this time of year is when the veils between the living and the dead are thinnest. The Catholics celebrate today as All Souls Day reminding souls here on Earth to live a holy life and to pray for the souls lost in purgatory. Essentially, this is a time of high magic and celebrating the mysteries of death and rebirth, endings and beginnings, and that which has been and that which is yet to be.

With Jupiter (20 Sagittarius) about to join Pluto (27 Sagittarius) at Galactic Center for the entire month of December, this time of honoring the process of death and rebirth is further heightened. When we consider the renewal of magical possibilities ignited through Jupiter’s time with Antares and the Great Attractor, and all that has been gathered from them during this past year, we get at least a small sense of the magnitude of what Jupiter is bringing to this meeting with the alchemical artistry of Pluto. (See October 2007 Archives.)

November 3, Saturday. The Moon moves into Virgo and occults Saturn (6 Virgo)
with a second Moon occultation over Saturn November 30. The Virgo archetype expresses as Spider Woman weaving the web of this reality. Saturn in Virgo occurs every 28 to 29 years and will remain in Virgo until October 29, 2010. This gives us plenty of time to weave a new web of conscious structure that effectively supports our current evolution.

Saturn in Virgo with the Moon is weaving a web bridging the knowledge of the past with the possibilities of the future NOW efficiently, effectively, and in a sacred way.

This occultation reveals the questions that Saturn in Virgo asks and later answers. What are the limits of the old web that we have out grown and need to replace? How can we weave a whole new paradigm on all levels of relating including our global community, economics, the environment, human rights, the sacred connection with life, and so on? It is time to create a reality that honors the rights of all sentient life, humans, animals, plants, and beyond. We all have the right to have our basic needs met and to have the opportunity to creatively express whatever our sacred work in the world is. Expressing love and joy is our natural birthright and the current structure of our world does not easily support this possibility for everyone. How can we globally structure our lives to be in greater harmony and balance with all life? (See November 14 for info about Jupiter and the fixed star Ras Alhague)

November 4, Sunday. The Sun (11 Scorpio) trines Mars (11 Cancer) near the fixed star Sirius. (See October 30, 2007 Archives) This Sun Mars trine signals the approaching Mars Station Retrograde on November 15. Unlike the other outer planets, Mars is not Retrograde when it trines the Sun. Thus the Sun Mars trine has its own unique relationship. In this case, the Sun is providing fuel and passionate inspiration for the completion and new beginning of the Mars quest. It is important to be taking time to self-nurture and listen to the inner voice guiding this preparation process.

November 5, Monday. The Moon conjuncts Venus (26 Virgo) and then moves into Libra until November 8, marking the passage of Venus through the Third Gate into the Underworld since she Stationed Direct in early September. As Venus enacts Inanna’s journey into the Underworld, she is releasing any impurities connected to her throat chakra and how she uses her voice for the purpose of empowering her communication in ways that are genuine, heart directed, and truly sacred.

The Moon in Libra is energizing the importance of conscious equal partnership and the power of communicating from our hearts to create greater intimacy and connection with ourselves and others.

"Being vulnerable doesn't have to be threatening. Just have the courage to be sincere, open and honest. This opens the door to deeper communication all around. It creates self-empowerment and the kind of connections with others we all want in life. Speaking from the heart frees us from the secrets that burden us. These secrets are what make us sick or fearful. Speaking truth helps you get clarity on your real heart directives." Sara Paddison, The Hidden Power of the Heart.

November 6, Tuesday. The North Node is exactly conjuncting the fixed star Fomalhaut (4 Pisces) for the first time in 19 years. The North Node has been in range of this star since mid-October and remains in range until mid-December. This is further activating the Lunar Eclipse degree (4 Pisces) of August 28.

Fomalhaut is one of the four ancient royal stars located in the constellation Piscis Austrinus also known as the Southern Fish. The Southern Fish is NOT the constellation of the Pisces Fish though it is easy to see why they can be confused. Fomalhaut marks the mouth of the Southern Fish depicted as being open to receive the Celestial Waters pouring from the Urn of the Water Bearer. This imagery is similar to the statues of Kwan Yin pouring healing, restorative waters from her urn into the mouth of the dragon. What restorative healing elixir is available now that will help us to fulfill our divine destiny? (See October 15, 2007 Archives)

November 7, Wednesday. The Sun (14 Scorpio 54) is trines Retrograde Uranus (14 Pisces 54) signaling the approaching Direct Station of Uranus on November 24. Uranus is nearly stopped in the sky moving only 8 minutes in the next couple of weeks. As Uranus slows and shifts direction there is a pause or a Still Point where everything is possible and everything exists before it begins to differentiate into form. This Still Point features Uranus in Pisces locating a new assemblage point aligned with radical compassion and acceptance for all that IS.

Plus, today the Sun reaches the exact astrological Cross Quarter (15 Scorpio) with a New Moon only two days away. The ancient Celts celebrated this Cross Quarter time as their New Year’s point called Samhain, usually on the New or Full Moon closest to the astrological Cross Quarter when the veils between all the worlds, especially the world of the living and the world of the dead, are thinnest. The Celts use this time for divination, as the thinning of the veil helped them look into the future more easily, and if used wisely, this time could help them consciously set the pattern for the coming year. This was (and is) a time (over the next few days) to go within and seek guidance from the ancestors as to what might be unfolding. (See November 8 for stars connected to this doorway.)

The Moon conjunct Mercury (25 Libra) near Spica deepens the message about the importance of heart-directed communication. Heart-directed communication occurs when we take time to feel and breathe with intention into our heart before and during communication of any kind.

November 8, Thursday. The Moon moves into Scorpio and is approaching the fixed stars marking what is surely an “in-between the worlds gateway” in the constellation of the Scales. These two stars are featuring the fixed stars Zuben Algenubi (15 Scorpio) and Zuben Alshamali (19 Scorpio). Zuben Algenubi currently marks the zodiacal Cross Quarter between the Autumnal Equinox and the Winter Solstice that was exact yesterday. This means the Sun rises with this fixed star during the days of the astrological Cross Quarter November 6, 7, and 8 each year. It might be possible to see the tiny crescent Moon in the early morning sky before dawn though these stars will not be visible. Venus, however, will be shining brightly above the Moon.

Venus is crossing the September Equinox Marker (Zero Libra) currently aligned with the North Galactic Pole (See September 21, 2007 Archives) in the sky. Venus travels through Libra until December 5. In the Libra domain, Venus is exploring the mysteries of conscious equal partnership that remind us of the importance of being our own best partner first.

November 9, Friday. This Scorpio New Moon (17 Scorpio) is closest to the Samhain Cross Quarter and is also celebrated as Mahalakshmi by the Hindus. Maha means Great and Lakshmi is the Goddess of Love, Beauty, and Abundance. This great goddess is depicted showering the Earth with gold coins falling from her hand, symbolizing the infinite abundance of life that is our natural divine birthright. It is believed that Mahalakshmi is seated in the heart of everyone and thus seated in the heart of the whole universe. Celebrating Lakshmi celebrates the abundant gifts life gives us everyday. (See Lakshmi Prayers ).

Mahalakshmi also refers to the greatness within us all. When we individually and collectively focus on encouraging ourselves and celebrating our greatness, then we are building a new world based on everyone showing up and having a way to share their gifts with recognition and appreciation. In her book, The Gift of Change, Marianne Williamson reminds us that,

Bringing forth our greatness is critical to the survival of the species; only if you get to live out your potential and I get to live out mine will the world be able to live out its own. Since limited thinking produces limited results, supporting others in believing in themselves helps to move the entire world forward. And becoming who we’re capable of being - regardless of other people’s opinions of us – is part of our responsibility both to ourselves and to God…Unless we’re supporting the emergence of greatness in the people around us, we’re not doing our full part to help heal the world…

November 10, Saturday. The Moon moves into Sagittarius expanding our understanding of the Truth. Movies like What The Bleep Do We Know invite us to ponder how the truth of our reality at any given time is very much based on our beliefs. One of the best examples in this movie was the story of Christopher Columbus coming to the New World. The native island people could not see the huge sailing ships when Columbus first arrived at their shores, because it wasn’t part of their known reality. The ships were there, but it took a shift in their perception before they could see them.

Tomorrow marks the last Moon occultation of Antares this year. Antares, a.k.a. Alpha Scorpii, marks the heart of the Scorpion and was one of the four royal stars of Persia, considered Watcher of the West in association with Archangel Uriel. Antares is a stargate portal and one of the 15 magical Behenian fixed stars meaning Antares is especially powerful when the Moon or any other planet is within 6 degrees. The regular Moon occultations over Antares intensifies the transmissions of Antarian light codes as the Moon transmits directly from this stargate. Antares may not be visible in all locations this time of the year as it is now very low on the western horizon after Sunset, but if you get a chance to see the tiny crescent Moon, you will know Antares is nearby.

The Egyptians associated Antares with Isis and worked with this star as an interdimensional gateway. Michael Smulkis and Fred Rubenfeld, authors of Starlight Elixirs and Cosmic Vibrational Healing say, “Antares influences the place just before choice…If you attune to this in anyway, asking with love in your heart for the higher path to be shown, so it will be. The opportunities for this may come forth in ways that were perhaps unexpected.”

November 11, Sunday. 11/11. In her book 11:11 Solara says, “The 11:11 is a wake-up call reminding us of our true purpose here on Earth. When we are experiencing times of increasing energy and accelerated change, 11:11 shows up to let us know we are on track. When you see these numbers it ‘is ALWAYS a confirmation that your are on the right track.’” http://www.nvisible.com/1111/1111intro.html

Mercury returns to Scorpio today. (See October 11, 2007 Archives for more about the Mercury Retrograde that began then.) Mercury has been traveling through Libra since then and returns to Scorpio today. Any Retrograde process is a time to revisit unfinished business providing an opportunity to complete it and move on. After Mercury Stations Direct, there is an integration period that lasts until Mercury passes the degree of the Retrograde Station. Mercury passes beyond 9 Scorpio on November 18. This is a time to deepen passionate forms of creative expression including verbal and non-verbal.

Mercury’s message in Scorpio is revealed through passionate, powerful, transformative communication experiences that are best facilitated by a willingness to dive into unknown territory excavating the shadow places for greater empowerment. This is also known as Edgewalking, walking beyond the edges of what is already known for the purpose of experiencing healthy lifeforce that feels passionate, juicy and alive. Deepening our most passionate life experiences occurs naturally when we connect to the Source of infinite power within each of us through being willing to surrender and trust the unfolding divine plan.

The Sun (19 Scorpio) squares Neptune (19 Aquarius) today. On Feb 8, 2007, the Sun and Neptune were conjunct at (19 Aquarius) seeding a process that is now completing. Neptune Stationed Retrograde on May 24 at 22 Aquarius 02 and Stationed Direct on October 31, 2007, at 19 Aquarius 15. This means that anyone who has planets or angles in fixed signs (or the signs of Self-Interest as described in Shamanic Astrology which are Aquarius, Leo, Scorpio and Taurus) between 19 and 23 degrees have been experiencing a Neptunian initiation intended to heighten and refine intuition while also reconnecting them with new and original dreams. For those who are on track with this timing, greater clarity and direction are ready to emerge as Neptune reaches 22 degrees of Aquarius by February 19, 2009.

November 12, Monday. The Lunar Standstill Moon conjuncts Jupiter (22 Sagittarius) and then Pluto (27 Sagittarius). The “out of bounds Moon” is stretching us to release and transform any repressed or denied aspects of our personal and collective truth. This includes the truth that wounds, the truth that accuses, the truth that condemns, and the truth that limits another person’s experience through guilt, shame or judgment. This especially applies to strict religious or cultural truth, or any truth based in fear, especially when it is used to gain control of others.

Truth that operates out of fear has rigid rules and standards designed to control outcomes by exacting harsh punishments and judgments if these rules are transgressed. Truth that operates from love expresses through compassionate acceptance of what IS and is not invested in specific outcomes. Truth based in love allows and accepts what IS, knowing the only way reality truly changes is through changing personal perception and beliefs. Self-love and acceptance are essential keys for living and expressing love-based truth.

November 13, Tuesday. The Lunar Standstill Moon is moving across the Galactic Plane into Capricorn helping to ground the new incoming galactic light codes in a practical and useful form in ways that benefit future generations. This Galactic Gateway is where new, creatively-inspired energies pour into this dimension; and Capricorn is the archetypal mystery school most familiar with practical applications of how to manifest and administer Spirit in form.

November 14, Wednesday. Jupiter is conjunct the fixed star Ras Alhague (22 Sagittarius 27) in the constellation of Ophiuchus. Rasalhague is also known as Alpha Ophiuchi, marking the third eye of Ophiuchus, the Serpent-Bearer. Ophiuchus is a shamanic figure holding a giant snake. To the Greeks this was the great healer, Asclepius, who learned the healing arts from the master healer, Chiron. Ascelpius went beyond Chiron’s ability when he learned the art of raising the dead when he saw a snake bring its dead partner back to life by administering a special herb. Jupiter is helping to expand the ageless wisdom of these symbols that have been used for healing, regeneration, and restoration of healthy life force energy, and is activating this star from November 3 to November 26. This is an important activation as Jupiter only passes by this star every 12 years.

November 15, Thursday. Mars Stations Retrograde (12 Cancer 27) today and remains Retrograde until January 29, 2008. The Mars Retrograde has a deep and profound effect as it only goes Retrograde about every twenty-six months, and it stays Retrograde for nearly three months, making it the longest Retrograde cycle of the personal planets. Therefore, if you find yourself feeling disoriented or unsettled, it might be helpful to take time to self-nurture. Meditation, yoga, journaling, singing, dancing, decreeing, hanging out on the Earth, enjoying a garden, getting extra rest are a few ways to self-nurture. Listening to what your body needs is a good practice anytime and it is especially important now.

The Moon moves into Aquarius energizing revolutionary changes in unusual ways until November 18.

November 16, Friday. Mercury (8 Scorpio) sextiles Saturn (7 Virgo) bringing news and information about the new, passionate, alive forms Saturn is weaving into the Web of Life. Saturn is now near the fixed star Rho Leonis, a.k.a. Maru-Sha, located under the chest of the lion. Synchronistically, Rho Leonis is a star linked with the energies of Mercury and the adventurous mind. Saturn is receiving a transmission from this star involving past history that is ready to be renewed and made relevant for the current Time as the restructuring or reweaving of the sacred web of life continues.

November 17, Saturday. The Moon occults Retrograde Neptune (19 Aquarius) as it reaches the First Quarter square exact at 25 Aquarius. With the First Quarter Moon acceleration occurring at the time of this occultation, there is a deepening of the dreamtime healing that was activated last month. This is further revealing what is hidden within us, and the power of imaging and setting our intention or prayers to assist in the process of manifesting our heart’s desire in the world of form.

Remember, prayers are a key element in the co-creative process, and it is important to understand any hidden thoughts and feelings that run counter to our divine intent. Now is a time for directing our prayers to help uncover what we are really setting into motion. In Conversations With God by Neale Donald Walsh, we are reminded that no prayer ever goes unanswered. However, what we may not realize is that every thought and every feeling is creative and is therefore a prayer. Whenever we take time to pray, it is the strongest held thoughts and feelings that drive the prayer. The secret, we are told, is the “thought behind the thought,” or what is termed the “Sponsoring Thought” that has the most power in becoming reality.

It is helpful to pray and give advanced gratitude for guidance that will help transform any hidden thoughts that are continuing to create a reality we are no longer resonating with. A powerful way to transmute the hidden thoughts that are counter to our divine expression is to offer them to the violet flame. (See October and July 2007 Archives)

November 18, Sunday. The Moon enters Pisces energizing the mysteries of the compassionate heart, reminding us to not only have compassion for others, but, especially, to have compassion for our own challenges and wounds, loving and accepting who we are even though we may not feel we are perfect or acceptable in some way. Allowing ourselves to feel what we feel with compassion and nurturing is an essential key to learning how to be of genuine service to others. Pisces has been known to ask “How can I help and heal?” One answer is “Healer heal thyself.” Meaning to be a true healer one must first do their own personal healing. This is accomplished more easily when we remember the Pisces mysteries are also linked with the ability to dream the new dreams into being through actively engaging the imagination and a willingness to surrender in mystical union with the divine.

November 19, Monday. This marks the monthly Moon conjunction with Retrograde Uranus (15 Pisces) signaling a time for unexpected changes that can radically shift our personal and collective objective awareness. Uranus is about radical, revolutionary change and in the Pisces domain is about healing the wounds that interfere with Divine Union.

Venus (12 Libra) squares Retrograde Mars (12 Cancer). When Venus is in Libra her focus is on her relationships, including her relationship with herself and with her beloved. When Mars is in Cancer his focus is on responsibly nurturing family and he may be prone to neglecting his primary relationship with himself and with his beloved. This is a time for noticing how your inner feminine and masculine are relating? If there are challenges then what is asking for attention? Do you need to pay more attention to your relationship with yourself? Do you need to spend more time nurturing yourself? Do you need to spend more time with your beloved nurturing your relationship and there by nurturing the rest of your family? This is about creating a healthy harmonious balance in all the ways we relate to one another.

November 20, Tuesday. The waxing Moon moves into Aries energizing the archetype of the Warrior/Adventurer/Explorer and the mysteries of trust, spontaneity and courage. Trusting our in-the-moment intuitive process supports courageous, authentic, spontaneous, decisive action. Action is the third element of the three-fold creative process sometimes described as thought, word and deed. What we think and what we say often directs what deeds we do. Inspired decisive action is found in the Aries domain. Sometimes the best, most useful action we can take is to get ourselves out of the way and do something FUN. When we are having fun, our vibration is high and the actions we take, the thoughts we think, and words we speak are being generated from that joyful vibration. What gets created from this feeling will also be fun, joyful, and inspired.

November 21, Wednesday. Mercury (15 Scorpio) trines Retrograde Uranus (15 Pisces) is a time for powerfully receiving radical insights and unexpected visions about what is changing, and how we can assist these changes through our choices and actions. This process is greatly facilitated when we are practicing self-forgiveness. Catherine Ponder tells us, "When you hold resentment toward another (or yourself), you are bound to that person or condition by an emotional link that is stronger than steel. Forgiveness is the only way to dissolve that link and get free."

The Course In Miracles says:

Not only can we forgive everyone (including ourselves), but also we MUST forgive everyone if we’re to find peace, health, and happiness. Those who don’t forgive, keep attracting the same types of painful relationships over and over.

Working with the mysteries of radical compassion and forgiveness helps to clear the way for us to experience genuine Thanksgiving for who we are and the lives we are living. This in turn attracts more for us to be thankful for including more love and more joy.

November 22, Thursday. Happy Thanksgiving. The Moon moves into Taurus indicating an ideal Time for ceremonial gratitude. Gratitude is the key to true receivership and receiving is one of the key elements of the Taurus mysteries.

The Sun moves into Sagittarius today where it remains until December 21. These are the final synthesizing energies of the current yearly cycle, sifting through all the experiences and insights to find what is genuine and true, while wisely disregarding all the rest.
November 23, Friday. Today begins the Gemini Full Moon Window, so tonight is the fullest rise of the waxing Moon passing by the Pleiades. The Gemini Full Moon will be exact at 6:30 am Pacific and 9:30 am Eastern tomorrow so the Moon will already be waning by Moonrise tomorrow night.

The Greeks saw the Pleiades as the "Seven Doves" that carried ambrosia to the infant Zeus. They were also known as the seven daughters of Atlas and Pleione (Atlas' first wife), six of whom are described as visible, and one as invisible or "lost."

These “Seven Sisters” were the virgin companions of the Goddess Diana. The story goes that the great hunter Orion pursued them for seven years, until Atlas (their father) asked Zeus to protect his daughters. Zeus transformed the seven sisters into doves and placed them among the stars. Later, when Orion was killed by a giant scorpion, Zeus placed him in the heavens behind the Pleiades. (The Living Stars, Dr. Eric Morse, 1988, Amethyst Books, London, New York). http://www.winshop.com.au/annew/cons0.htm

Atlas, Pleione and Alcyone (the three brightest stars of the Pleiades) have recently moved into the tropical sign of Gemini after having spent 2,150 years in the tropical sign of Taurus. This means that these stars are now also expressing through the mind and the process of communication; whereas, the other stars of the Pleiades are still expressing through Taurus, the Earth, the physical body and the sensation function. This suggests that the Pleiadian energy is now working with the mysteries that have to do with how we integrate the mind and body into a cohesive whole that works together for optimum health and enjoyment. (See article on Difference Between Signs and Constellations)

November 24, Saturday. The Gemini Full Moon (2 Gemini) is located inside the Sacred Hoop of stars and has just passed the Pleiades. The Full Moon will also be visible near the royal star Aldebaran, the eye of the Bull, watcher of the East, linked with Archangel Michael. In some cultures, Aldebaran was considered the all-seeing “eye of god” and has associations with the restoration of the original perfection of the Earth. With the Full Moon near Aldebaran all night tonight and tomorrow night, this is a great time to tune into these energies asking for the restoration of the purity and perfection of our own hearts. It is interesting to note that the word Earth is an anagram for heart when you move the “h” from the end of earth and place at the beginning of the word, it magically transforms into the word Heart.

Also today, Uranus (14 Pisces 46) Stations Direct and Mercury (19 Scorpio) squares Neptune (19 Aquarius), possibly triggering unexpected events designed to altar our current assemblage point. This is a time to “Trust the Bigger Picture” even if we aren’t sure what it is. Worrying does not help or change what is unfolding. Surrender to and acceptance of what IS helps us to navigate these changes through the gift of grace.

November 25, Sunday. The Sun is rising near the Head of the Scorpion conjuncting the fixed stars Jabbah Acrab and Dshubba every year at this time. These three stars were considered propitious and were known as "the Light of the Hero", or "the Tree of the Garden of Light ". These stars are not visible at this time as they are being illuminated by the Sun but they are worth tuning into as they receive this annual direct light transmission. Just being consciously with the light of the Sun is enough to receive the transmission.

November 26, Monday. The Moon moves into Cancer and conjuncts Retrograde Mars (11 Cancer) near the fixed star Sirius. Mars entered Cancer on September 28 and is preparing for a new quest that begins December 24, when Mars rises in the East opposite the Sun setting in the West. Grandmother Moon is helping Retrograde Mars to prepare for a new quest, in part, to discover the Divine Father within. This is Father as the safe, nurturing space, the compassionate, kind, generous, caring, and supportive Father whose greatest delight is celebrating the gift his children bring to his life. This quest is also about healing any remaining wounds around the effects of experiencing a punishing patriarchal Father that is never pleased or satisfied. This quest will last about 26 months and preparations are already underway.

Venus (19 Libra) trines Neptune (19 Aquarius) heightening creative, intuitive, dreaming energies around how we are creating our relationships with each other and the Earth. Whenever Neptune is involved, we are reminded to listen to our inner guidance, especially if it is different than what we are experiencing externally. The reason for this is because external, linear, logical reality is far less reliable at this time.

November 27, Tuesday. The Sun (4 Sagittarius) squares the August Eclipse Point (4 Pisces) fueling whatever was being accelerated at that time, especially around the mysteries of radical compassion. Radical compassion includes expressing kindness for ourselves and others. This is possible when we can loving accept what IS and take responsibility for our experiences in each moment, knowing we are creating our reality based on what we think, feel, say, and do. The Sun shines on the Eclipse Point furthering collective humanity on a new path of loving compassionate service that includes healthy giving to ourselves and others.

Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them, humanity cannot survive. ~His Holiness, The Dali Lama.

November 28, Wednesday. The Moon moves into Leo where it began this month, traveling through this domain until November 20. The Leo mysteries remind us of the importance of each soul as a divine expression. In Shirley MacLaine’s movie, Out on a Limb, David reminds her:

In all the Cosmos, there is nothing more valued than a Single Soul. And whatever a Single Soul accomplishes lifetime after lifetime, uplifts the rest of humanity forever. That is how important each one of us is! http://www.shirleymaclaine.com/index.html

November 29, Thursday. The bright Morning Star Venus reaches exact zodiacal alignment with Spica (also in the morning sky before dawn) having been within 6 degrees of this Behenian star since November 23, and moving past 6 degrees on December 4. Both Venus and Spica are powerful symbols of the Divine Feminine with Venus enhancing the qualities of Spica. According to Starlight Elixirs and Cosmic Vibrational Healing by Michael Smulkis and Fred Rubenfeld http://hilarion.com/stars.html, Spica has the ability to transfer awareness from the Super Conscious to the waking conscious mind, and Spica can also enhance lucid dreaming states and psychic abilities. Spica strengthens the physical body in the cervical vertebrae of the spine, the physical location in the body, symbolizing the separation of body and mind. So Spica creates an interchange between the separated selves assisting in the remembrance that there is ultimately no separation. Thus Spica helps to bring the principle of oneness more fully into our conscious minds.

Mercury began the month Stationing Direct in alignment with this star Spica, and we end the month with Venus drawing our attention here. (See November 1) If you get a chance to see these two together in the morning sky, consider that a blessing of grace, as a visual connection with a celestial event like this can more easily transfer the intent and the mysteries to the observer. This is particularly true when we connect with Awareness.

November 30, Friday. The Moon moves into Virgo and occults Saturn (8 Virgo) as the Sun (8 Sagittarius) is squaring Saturn for yet another acceleration of the physical, planetary changes already underway. Virgo and Sagittarius are both dedicated to serving Spirit. Sagittarius is in Service to living the truth, and Virgo is in Service to the sacred expression of life. These archetypal energies are described in a remarkable way in The Book of Hiram by Christopher Knight and Robert Lomas. Their research led them to include the ancient writings that describe the underlying evolutionary principles of Free Masonry, synchronistically, this passage sums up the essence of Virgo and Sagittarius.

Masonry conducts initiates through certain forms and ceremonies, to display certain symbols and emblems; it does not give in advance their interpretation, but only indicates their general tendency; it places the thread in the hand that will guide the Mason through the labyrinth; it is for each person to apply and interpret the symbols and ceremonies of the degree in such manner as may seem truest and most appropriate.
