Sun enters Gemini on May 20 conjunct the Pleiades in the “Days of No Shadows”. (See May 20 for details)
Mercury stations retrograde May 6 and hangs out near the Pleiades all month stationing direct on May 30 just 8 degrees from this famous star cluster.
Venus rose before the Sun on April 3 and began a new 584 day cycle. This is important for anyone born in an 8 year (8, 16, 24, 32, 40, 48, 56, 64, 72. 80, 88, 94, 102 etc) between April 3, 2009 and Nov 4, 2010 as this marks your personal 8 year Venus return. (See Venus Article for more and for info about Venus Specific Readings.) Venus approaches greatest elongation exact on June 3.
Mars is growing brighter this month though Venus is still much brighter and bigger looking than Mars. Venus and Mars will meet again around the Solstice staying within 10 degrees of each other from now until mid-July.
Jupiter moved into Aquarius on January 5 and is visible in the morning sky between the constellation of the Goat Fish and the Water Bearer. A dark sky is needed to see the stars of these constellations but Jupiter will be easy to spot.
Saturn officially became an evening star on March 8 when it reached opposition to the Sun rising as the Sun set. Saturn is high in the sky after the Sun sets and is visible in the constellation of the Lion (though it is located in the seasonal sign of Virgo). Saturn stations direct on May 16 about 15 degrees away from Regulus.
Moon begins this month in Leo moving through all the signs returning to Leo and ending the month in Virgo. See the Daily Timings for more Moon occurrences this month including the visible and non-visible conjunctions with other planets and the occultation of Moon over Antares on Mother’s Day.

May Night Sky Highlights
This month the Milky Way is seen lying flat around the horizon so it is not clearly visible unless you look up to the Northeast highest part in Cygnus the Swan. However this position of the Milky Way gives us the sense of the Plane of the Galaxy when looking Northeast toward Cygnus Galactic Center is to your right.
Also prominent this month is the constellation of the Virgin Priestess (a.k.a. Virgo) containing seven main stars. The most visible star in this group is the bright bluish white star Spica, meaning "spike of grain." Higher in the sky and a bit to the right of Spica is the star Denebola which forms the lion's tail in the constellation also known as Leo. If you follow a direct line from Spica to the upper left you will see the bright red star Arcturus. These three stars Arcturus, Denebola, and Spica form what is sometimes called the Spring Triangle best viewed from April to June. Plus, we have the perfect 30-60-90 degree triangle formed by Arcturus, Spica and Regulus (the heart of the lion). Look East South East to spot both triangles. Venus (magnitude –4.7) shines low in the east before Sunrise. Jupiter is higher and far to the right of Venus in the southeast.
Mars (only magnitude +1.2) remains about 5° from Venus for the first week of May. Mars is below Venus early in the week, and lower left of it toward the week's end. You may need binoculars to see it. Mars will slowly brighten in the morning sky over the next months reaching opposition and the start of new cycle on January 29, 2010.
Daily Timings
May 01, Friday. Traditional Beltane or May Day. In 1684 this was the day celebrated as the Ascension Day of Saint Germain who brought us the alchemical gift of the Violet Flame. (See May 2) Beltane to the Celts was a time of maximum fertility, abundance, sacred pleasure, and celebration through feasting, song, dance, and other forms of revelry often incorporating joyous community ceremony. This time of year (or season) reminds us life is good, life is abundant and pleasurable and most importantly life is to be celebrated and enjoyed with gratitude.
The Celts viewed Beltane (along with its seasonal opposite point Samhain) as a time when the doorway or veil between the worlds was easiest to access. At Samhain (in November) the doorway was about connecting with our ancestors, those who have died and the death mysteries. The Beltane doorway is the resonant polarity providing access to the mysteries of growing life, love, and sacred, yet, sensual, joyful pleasure.
Leo First Quarter Moon (12 Leo) shines brightly overhead as the Sun sets illuminating the mysteries of self-love as the path to the divine. Combined with the Sun in Taurus in the Beltane window we are being reminded of the importance of self-love (Leo) as a necessary component for genuine deep intimacy (Taurus) with others. Shakti Gawain speaks to this in her book Reflections in the Light saying:
My primary relationship is with myself - all others are mirrors of it. As I learn to love myself, I automatically receive the love and appreciation that I desire from others. If I am committed to myself and to living my truth, I will attract others with equal commitment. Mercury begins the month near the Pleiades stationing Retrograde in alignment with this star cluster on May 6. Mercury then conjuncts the Sun on May 19 within a degree of some of the Pleiadian stars. During its retrograde phase Mercury moves only 7 degrees away from the Pleiades stationing direct at 22 Taurus on May 30. Mercury then returns to conjunct the Pleiades once again from June 11 to 16. As Mercury connects with the Pleiadian stargate, hanging out on the edge of the Sacred Hoop, the transformational messenger begins accessing this informational doorway that stretches beyond our known reality providing new perspectives, added insights, and growing networks of inspiration. May 02, Saturday. Venus (3 Aries) squares retrograde Pluto (3 Capricorn) for the third time since February. The Aries Warrior Amazon Venus and the Shamanic Initiator Pluto are clearing the way for the ongoing birthing of the New Earth. Venus in Aries protects the birthing space and Pluto transforms what no longer serves through the mysteries of death and rebirth. Patricia Diane Cota-Robles further inspires our understanding of what is unfolding and reminds us of the necessary clearing process Pluto requires for genuine empowerment. She says:

What Patty is describing, in essence, is the purifying power of Pluto pushing to the surface our deepest fears and where we are not in true accord with spirit so it can and will be transformed. As the shadow elements and “miscreations” are coming to light to be transformed it is helpful to remember we are not going to solve all our issues or problems with the same consciousness that created them. Einstein among others have told us we can NOT solve these problems on the level of the problems. May 04, Monday. Moon conjuncts Saturn (15 Virgo) just 12 days before Saturn stations
retrograde on May 16. Once each month the Moon amplifies or triggers a deepening of the Saturn in Virgo intent to help us reweave a new web or a new structure for our current reality that reveres and honors all life as sacred, and honors the health and beauty of our beautiful Earth, our home. The current web of reality has been woven out of deceit and lies, power and greed, and a general disrespect for much of life other than the elite few who profit at the expense of the Earth and all others who live here.
Saturn’s passage through Virgo has brought our attention to what is NOT working and calls for us to focus on weaving or creating a new reality based in reverence for life and sustainability that benefits the Earth. Saturn does not require perfection. In fact, “perfection is insufficient to our liberation”. The key is waking up to what doesn’t work and then making different choices in ways that help to create a healthier world.

May 05, Tuesday. Cinco de Mayo. Beltane Cross-Quarter (See May 1) and Moon moves into Libra with the Sun (15 Taurus) trine retrograde Saturn (15 Virgo) further signaling the direct station of Saturn on May 16. This means Saturn has entered the Still Point and is now stopped in the sky barely moving seven minutes for the rest of this month. In this Still Point time Saturn is accessing all that is necessary to give a whole new structure and form to our relationship with Mother Earth. In Virgo’s realm reverence for the sacred expression of the Earth is vital for our continued survival.
The Libra Moon is drawing our attention to the mysteries of conscious equal partnership and reminding us to pay attention to why we are choosing the relationships we have? When we enter relationships because we know they are an opportunity for growth then we are consciously choosing the gifts that this kind of relationship brings. How are the relationships you are currently experiencing contributing to your growth and understanding of yourself? Is it time to make a deeper commitment to yourself and your current relationship(s)? Or is it time to let go of a relationship that is no longer working?
May 06, Wednesday. Mercury Stations Retrograde reaching one of two Still Points in its cycle. The second still point is exact May 30. Any retrograde station of a planet represents one of two exact Still Points within that planetary cycle. The retrograde Still Point is a time of synthesizing the previous cycle. When Mercury stations direct later this month it will have reached the Still Point near the beginning of Mercury’s new cycle.
Considering that Mercury is the fastest moving planet, going retrograde more often than any other planet, it is not surprising that many feel the Mercury Still Point more dramatically than other planetary stations. This Still Point or station point of Mercury is near the Pleiades providing us with direct access to the Main Library or Hall of Records located in this area of the sky. This also corresponds to inner knowing, the inner library, the inner Hall of Records within our own being. (See May 1, 13, 18, 20, 23, and 30).The Still Point of any cycle can produce powerful epiphanic type experiences as described by Neale Donald Walsh in this quote from Conversations with God Book Book 3.
In those moments during which you experience yourself being ‘revealed’ to yourself – whether these are what you call out-of-body experiences, or dreams, or magic moments of wakefulness when you are greeted by crystal clarity – what has happened is that you have simply slipped into ‘remembering.’ You are remembering what you have already created. And these rememberings can be very powerful. They can produce a personal epiphany.
May 07, Thursday. Moon moves into Scorpio opening the Scorpio Full Moon window exact tomorrow. The Sun is in Taurus having just passed the Cross – Quarter mark and we have three planets in Aquarius about to make a spectacular conjunction on May 27. This represents three of the four signs we refer to in Shamanic Astrology as the signs of Self-Interest (a.k.a Fixed Signs).
The signs of Self Interest are focused on developing personal aspects of Divine expression. Taurus learns about self through development of the ability to receive itself through experiences of pleasure, beauty, and deep intimacy. Leo takes this a step further learning about divinity through developing the qualities of radical, radiant self-love, self-confidence, self-acceptance, self-assurance and self-approval. Scorpio develops the qualities of divine Will as an individualized expression learning to manifest spirit into matter for an orgasmic ecstatic experience, and Aquarius extends this to encompass the cosmic perspective revolutionizing conscious awareness of the Divine.
The signs of Self Interest, when healthy, are also about experiencing Bliss. Joseph Campbell advocated for following your bliss when he said, “I say, follow your bliss and don't be afraid, doors will open where you didn't know they were going to be.”
When operating from trust and surrender, then following your passion, will lead you to a whole New Earthly experience. With the Moon in Scorpio pay attention to what activities bring you the greatest amount of life force or “bliss” or healthy orgasmic vital energy and give yourself permission to experience and embrace it as fully as possible. May 08, Friday. The Scorpio Full Moon (19 Scorpio) 9:01 pm Pacific with the fullest rise of the Moon tonight. Scorpio willingly explores the edges of reality. This is sometimes referred to as Edgewalking, or walking the edges of old and new ways, bridging what has been, with what is emerging, while releasing what is ready to die, and being transformed by the alchemical fires of change. The Scorpio Full Moon is in a wide square to Jupiter, Neptune and Chiron creating an astrological configuration known as the T-Square. The Self-Interest signs have the will and the power to focus on and complete what has been started. This is a big event that happens in Tucson every other year. I have only gone to the opening night in years past and will probably do the same this year. Taking time to listen, trust and follow your inner guidance is one of the best ways to navigate these chaotic times.

Moon occults Antares visible in eastern Europe, north Africa, the Middle East, India and China. Antares is one of 15 Behenian fixed stars considered especially useful for magical applications in the medieval astrology of Europe and the Arab world. The root word of Behenian derives from the Arabic word “bahman” which means "root.” The Behenian stars were considered a source of astrological power when one or more planets were conjunct. It was believed that when a planet was within six degrees of a Behenian star, the star’s influence was greatly heightened.
Many of the fixed stars are well known for their shadow expressions. Naturally, every aspect in this world has a seemingly dual nature or light and shadow side. That is because every aspect in our experience, whether in nature or in the heavens, is a part of who we are. It is up to us to choose how we engage these energies. Antares does have the potential for great power when used wisely with Integrity and Heart. However, if a person is accessing Antares for power over others, then ultimately, these energies will backfire, causing their downfall.
This year - 2009 - we have 11 Moon occulations over Antares due to the Lunar Standstill affect still at play. Antares is a Behenian star meaning these Moon occultations provide us with direct access to the power and magic of Antares marking the Golden Gate of our Galaxy.
May 11, Monday. Out of Bounds Moon in Sagittarius is crossing over Galactic Center, known as Hunab Ku to the Maya. The Mayans considered Hunab Ku to be the ultimate creator and conscious principle that organizes all matter in the manifest creation. The Mayas also felt that Hunab Ku or Galactic Center constantly gives birth to new stars and planets, as well as being the portal or gateway to other galaxies beyond ours, and that everything that happens in our Galaxy comes from the center through cyclical energy waves or bursts.
Scientists are now concluding that Galactic Center is not only consuming huge amounts of matter but it is also giving birth to new stars. As the Moon crosses this area of the sky, still well beyond the furthest point the Sun can reach, it is a time for letting go of any old ways that are holding us back, releasing these energies into Galactic Center to be consumed, transformed and then rebirthed in empowered new ways that are beyond anything we have previously imagined. We give away, we help, offer and hold. We create a safe container for the family of life. The family is safe and secure because we are here, because we hold and support all. This particular quality of the one called grandmother is something everyone understands... Grandmothers seek the continuance of the family, they promote what is good in life; they seek to support. This is our mission. As the Grandmothers, we hold all fathers, mothers, and children of the family of life. These are our sons, our daughters and our grandchildren. We desire the highest good for all. This quality of selfless giving is what is now needed on Earth. This is why the Great Council of Grandmothers has come... May 13, Wednesday. Retrograde Mercury returns to the seasonal sign of Taurus diving deeper into the Taurian mysteries. The Pleiades are an asterism marking the shoulder of the Bull constellation (a.k.a Taurus – see article on The Difference Between Signs and Constellations) and have begun their move into the seasonal sign of Gemini after nearly 2,150 years in the seasonal sign of Taurus. Remember signs are seasonal based on our experience of the seasons of the year and are separate from the constellations other than when they are overlaying a particular constellation. Over 26,000 years every sign (or season) passes over each of the zodiacal constellations.
This is currently demonstrated by three of the stars in the Pleiades, known as Alcyone,
Atlas, and Pleione. These stars have already moved into the first degree of Gemini. However, six other Pleiadian stars are still in the last degree of seasonal Taurus, including Electra, Celaeno, Maia, Merope, Taygete and Sterope or Asterope. Alcyone (zero Gemini), also known as Eta Tauri by astronomers, is the brightest star we see in the Pleiades and has been considered the central or main star of this asterism.
In the ancient Arabic world the Pleiades were seen as a cluster of grapes, an image used in ancient myths and paintings to symbolize Galactic Center and the secrets of the universe. The Mayans saw the Pleiades as “Tzab” or the rattle of the snake. (see May 18) Other cultures associated these stars with rain, tears, war symbols, engineering, architecture, and the healing arts.
With three of the stars of the Pleiades now in the seasonal sign of Gemini these mysteries are beginning to find greater expression through mental processes though with six stars still in Taurus we could say there is a process of integration between the physical and mental realms occurring. As Mercury moves back into Taurus the messenger is diving deep bringing us the possibility for heightened insights and inspiration especially when we are open to receiving them. May 14, Thursday. Moon moves into Aquarius radically altering our perception of reality through unpredictable events and experiences. Aquarius is committed to its own unique path of self-expression, questioning what IS and asking… Why NOT? … in its ever compelling urge to move beyond the confines of ordinary reality. Over the next couple of days the Moon will pass Jupiter, Neptune and Chiron. (See May 15)
May 15, Friday. Moon catches Jupiter (25 Aquarius) tomorrow moving on to catch Neptune and Chiron (both near 26 Aquarius) on May 17. The Moon is a transmitter amplifying the energies of Jupiter’s expansive energy, Neptune’s visions and dreams and Chiron’s shamanic healing at the DNA level. Chiron invokes whatever is needed to create healing, often experienced as healing crisis. This is ultimately intended to transform our wounds into our medicine upgrading our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual operating systems or DNA codes that allow us greater access to all our abilities, especially those in the magical realms including; telekinetic, telepathic, empathic, intuitive, and psychic powers. Remembering to rest and replenish ourselves daily helps in smoothing out the integration of these deep physical changes.
In ancient Greece, the centaur Chiron was a master healer and teacher. He was known for the mystery schools he had all over Greece that included the shamanic mysteries and training in the healing arts. Chiron taught through direct experience encouraging patients and students alike to know the healing power of nature or the natural world around us. Chiron was also an astrologer who understood and taught the mysteries of the Cosmos as it related to the bigger picture and our intricate relationship to the planets and stars. Reclaiming the wisdom of Chiron in Aquarius requires that we reclaim a more inclusive experience of life, opening the door of wisdom that lies in our personal unconscious and the greater consciousness of the cosmos.
May 16, Saturday. Saturn stations direct (15 Virgo) accessing the Still Point where anything is possible. (See May 4 for Saturn Virgo and May 6 for more about the Still Point of any retrograde)
Sun (26 Taurus) squares Neptune (26 Aquarius) alerting us to the dynamic interplay of Neptune’s relationship with the Sun signaling Neptune’s impending station retrograde on May 28. This is not a time for logical, practical, rational, clarity but rather a time for intuitively attuning to innovative insights that revolutionize our in the moment experience.
May 17, Sunday. The Aquarius Last Quarter Moon is (26 Aquarius 32) with Neptune and Chiron having just past Jupiter. Then the Moon moves into Pisces. These energies are amplifying the mysteries of radical compassion through genuine acceptance of what IS for NOW. In his book Prescriptions For Happiness, Ken Keyes reminds us of the importance of inner surrender that comes from conscious choice based on insight rather than fear. It is not a forced outer surrender, but rather, a clear choice to be with what IS in each moment, remembering everything changes and every NOW is different from the previous one. When we are relaxed and accepting what IS, it is much easier to rewire and reprogram our brain’s neural net. Resistance strengthens the old programs. Accepting what IS, and loving who we are just as we are right now, is the most radically compassionate and radically transforming action we can take, often facilitating miracles beyond what we have previously experienced or imagined.
May 18, Monday. Retrograde Mercury conjuncts the Sun at 28 Taurus very near the Pleiades beginning a new 120 day Mercury Cycle hanging out in this area of the sky for Mercury is the messenger able to come and go from any realm or dimension with ease. With the Sun Mercury conjunction near the Pleiades the Sun opens the dimensional doorway into the Pleiadian stargate giving Mercury easy access to this area of the sky. In Egyptian mythology Mercury is Thoth and both are credited with authorship of the Emerald Tablets.
Looking deeper into these mysteries William Henry discusses the mythology of Pleiades in his book The Ark of the Christos connecting this star cluster to Atlantis through the star named Atlas now located at zero Gemini in the Pleiadian star cluster. Mythically, Atlas is the father of the Hyades and the Pleiades. His job was to hold up the weight of the heavens on his shoulders. Henry tells us that Atlas can also be translated as Atlantides or Atlantis. Additionally, Thoth is known to be an Atlantean who preserved the mysteries of Alchemy in the Emerald Tablets through hieroglyphic symbols that when understood gave the initiate the ability to control their destiny through expanded states of consciousness.
According to Henry and as discussed in past Celestial Timings, Thoth and Hermes represent the guardian at the Crossroads and they “possessed all secret knowledge on 36,535 scrolls that were hidden under the heavenly vault (the sky).” This knowledge was projected into a “Thought Sphere” or as Jung referred to it the “collective unconscious”. Henry suggests in more modern terms it could be called the “Cosmic Internet” citing an ancient Egyptian translation of Thoth as “the lord of the Net”.
Today’s Sun conjunction with Mercury suggests we have a direct opening into this Cosmic Internet where this secret knowledge is stored. The Sun opens the doorway and Mercury brings through the messages stored here as we move into the days of “no shadows.” (see May 1, 6, 13, 20, 23 and 30)
May 19, Tuesday. Moon conjuncts Uranus (26 Pisces) on its monthly round amplifying yet another opportunity to shift the old Piscean assemblage point that says suffering and sacrifice are necessary for evolution and liberation. Uranus is traveling through Pisces until March 12, 2011, and once each month the Moon is amplifying the Uranian intent to create a revolutionary inner dimensional shift, birthing a new paradigm anchored in healthy expressions of Universal Love and Compassion as the leading edge of sacred service to life and mystical union with the Divine.
May 19, 20 and 21 mark the annual zodiacal conjunction of the Pleiades with the Sun. The Mayans left us an important clue about this Timing, built into the pyramid (Kukulkan) at Chichen Itza. May 20 is exactly 60 days after the Spring Equinox and the pyramid Kukulkan rests on a latitude where the Sun reaches the Zenith (exactly overhead) at Noon and NO shadows are cast anywhere. May 20 is the center point of this three day window called the “Days of No Shadows” by the Mayans.
John Major Jenkins, author of the Maya Cosmogenesis 2012 http://Alignment2012.com, indicates that the pyramid Kukulkan, (a.k.a. Quetzalcoatl, the Plumed Serpent) tracks the Sun-Pleiades-Zenith conjunction.

The Sun-Pleiades-Zenith alignment is occurring during a 72-year window, from 1976 to 2048, with the well-known date of 2012 at the center. It just so happens on May 20, 2012, the Sun-Pleiades-Zenith passage features a solar eclipse, meaning the Pleiades and the Sun are joined as the Moon passes between the Sun and the Earth. The implications of this event are worth pondering as we approach that date. Meanwhile the Sun at the zenith is unlocking the Pleiadian stargate over these days. This year we have the added benefit of Mercury’s retrograde station in this area of the sky as mentioned in yesterday’s timings. This means Mercury is lingering in this area of the sky for several weeks since late April going through mid-June.
The Maya were astronomically well aware of the energy cycles of the Earth and the Timings that opened the portals between the dimensions. Certainly the “Days of No Shadows” was important enough to construct the astronomical wonders of Kukulkan as a master Calendric device to track the yearly cycles and the Great Year spanning nearly 26,000 Earth years. So if you feel inspired to tune into this great cosmic opening over the next three days you might ask these divine energies to activate and move through you while also being grounded and stabilized into the New Earth Grid.
May 20, Wednesday. The Mayan Days of No Shadows are exact today (see May 19). Also 
today the Sun moves into Gemini (still conjunct the Pleiades) traveling through Gemini until the Summer Solstice on June 20/21 activation at the Galactic Gateway. This is the domain of the trickster coyote who defies logic and reason going beyond the ordinary boundaries of duality, leaping empty-handed into the void knowing and totally trusting s/he has transcended the laws of duality and is now living total freedom. Gemini serves Spirit by liberating us from the confines of what we believe reality is reminding us this world is not as ‘real’ as it often appears.
The Aries Moon catches up with Venus (15 Aries) signaling the move of Venus through the second gate into the underworld a.k.a. the Gate of Perception where she is required to give up her Measuring Rod and Staff symbolizing her connection to her inner vision and cosmic perception. Ceremonial work around this theme is especially important for those who are in the eight year Venus return meaning someone who is turning a multiple of 8 (16, 24, 32, 40, 48, 56, 64, 72, 80, 88, 94, 102 etc) between April 2, 2009 and Nov 4, 2010.

Retrograde Mercury (26 Taurus) squares Jupiter, Neptune and Chiron (26 Aquarius). With all of these energies converging today at the center point of the ‘days of NO Shadows” including Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune in a square to this configuration we are standing on the threshold of a rare revolutionary cosmic moment that brings to mind the Timewave Zero theory discussed in the April 2009 Celestial Timings. Indeed scientists and historians tell us knowledge is doubling so quickly we can’t really keep track of the pace anymore. 6500 years ago it took over 2,000 years for knowledge to double. The pace is moving ever faster now. In more recent times knowledge was known to double every 50 years, for example from 1900 to 1950. A Senior vice president for the Arizona Department of Library, Archives, and Public Records, Milton T. Wolf said in a speech that knowledge doubles every year and by 2020 it will double every 73 days. Most of us have felt how rapidly time is moving and knowledge is doubling now in a matter of months rather than years giving us the sense more than ever that “the mind can not know it all.”
In The Ark of the Christos William Henry proposes that perhaps the knowledge of how to access the cosmic Internet, the book of life, the book of knowledge, the book of wisdom or the doorway to heaven is encoded in our DNA. Henry references the prophet Daniel in the old testament who was told to “shut up the words, and seal the book, until the time of the end…and knowledge shall increase.” We are in the time of rapidly increasing knowledge and these Celestial Alignments act as trigger points to help us access this quietly encoded knowledge already in our DNA (or Hall of Records).
May 21, Thursday. The Moon catches up to Mars (23 Aries) illuminating the path of inspired action designed to further the cause of defending and protecting healthy versions of family and community, as well as protecting the well being of our beloved Earth.
May 22, Friday. The Moon is entering Taurus emphasizing the importance of taking time to savor, enjoy and appreciate the beauty and abundance in our world as the first step in raising our personal energy for the purpose of experiencing greater synchronicity and support in living our divine destiny and co-creating the New Earth.
Plus, Jupiter conjuncts Chiron exact today (See May 27). Chiron as described on May 15 has many similarities to the great medieval physician, alchemist, botanist, astrologer, Paracelsus (1493 to 1591) felt strongly that the individual essences of the Celestial Bodies in our Solar System were literally structured into our DNA codes. He was known for his successful use of non-conventional treatments, including homeopathic remedies, in curing deadly diseases like the black plague. Paracelsus understood the intricate interweaving of the Earth with the greater cosmos and his views remind us of the importance of the interconnectedness of us all within the web life.

Keeping in mind the importance of alchemical healing within ourselves Jupiter is expanding the power of Chiron to bring about deep healing at the DNA level literally creating a new operating system within our physiology. The past few months have seen an increase in the frequency of Earth as these three planets Chiron, Neptune and Jupiter move toward their most precise conjunction on May 27. Jupiter exactly conjuncts Chiron around 6:51 am Pacific Time at 26 Aquarius 12. Jupiter is a middle world planet visible in the morning sky. Chiron is an underworld planet visible with a telescope. Due to the elipitcal orbit of Chiron the number of years between conjunctions with Jupiter varies. The Shamanic Healer Chiron in the seasonal sign of Aquarius, revolutionary, innovative healing processes at the most basic cellular level within the DNA codes reach new octaves. In 2003 the Human Genome Project was completed having decoded approximately only 3% of the total physical DNA. The remaining DNA not decoded was given the name “junk” DNA suggesting it had no purpose or no longer had a purpose.
It is reasonable to speculate that this so called “junk” DNA (plus the ‘shadow’ DNA that has only been seen on electronic microscopes) does have a yet to be understood purpose and is an important part of our blueprint or personal Hall of Records. May 24, Sunday. The Gemini New Moon (4 Gemini) is activating the Heyokah, Coyote, Contrary, Shapeshifter, Magician who reminds us it is not either/or, it is SO much more than what we have previously imaged, even though the appearance and experience we are having of this reality is often convincingly contrary to this understanding. This New Moon seed point can be used to energize the intent to have more FUN and be spontaneously outrageous for the purpose of experiencing true freedom that serves Spirit and the unfolding Divine Plan.
May 25, Monday. The Out of Bounds Moon passes over the Galactic Edge late tonight or early tomorrow crossing the center of the Sacred Hoop or the Great Shining Circle, currently marking the June Solstice point in the sky. The June Solstice is a movable point taking 26,000 years to travel through all the ecliptic-based constellations. Currently, this point is located at the place where the Milky Way and the Ecliptic intersect at the Galactic Anti-Center or Galactic Edge, one of the main indicators of the current Turning of the Ages we are now experiencing. This suggests we are completing with what has been in our old vibrational code, as we receive the galactic download, and begin shifting into a whole new vibrational frequency. This vibrational shift is happening with or without us and is easier to assimilate when we surrender our ego attachments to how we think things should be.
May 26, Tuesday. Chiron (26 Aquarius 13) Jupiter (26 Aquarius 26) and Neptune 26 Aquarius 28) have been moving to their closest conjunction that takes place tomorrow. This alignment is one of the major factors this year helping to reset the matrix of creation. Drunvalo speaks to this in his book Serpent of Light as follows.
The year 2009 will bring the first real connection with life from other worlds, which could not have occurred before the Unity Grid was functioning in a specific manner. This is a prophecy coming from several indigenous people, including the Maya and the Waitaha….
What I am saying is that the next few years will be the most important years in human history. We will survive these vast changes in human understanding with the help of Mother Earth and her Serpent of Light, as we have many times before, but never before has the universe opened to us as it will in the coming years.
The secret is Unconditional Love, which will present itself through human beings who will change life on Earth forever. Most of these human beings will be children or young adults who have found their way into their hearts. May 27, Wednesday. This is the first of three exact conjunctions between Jupiter and Chiron and Jupiter and Neptune. Jupiter meet with Chiron on May 22 at 26 Aquarius 12 and today Jupiter meets with Neptune at 26 Aquarius 29. All three planets are within ¼ degree. This is an important event that has been discussed in the Celestial Timings for the last few months. Last month I likened this triple conjunction to an ‘event of extreme novelty’ and the Timewave Zero factor as described by Terrence McKenna. However, this month I found myself NOT knowing what to say about it. That is unusual for me to find myself completely unable to get a sense of how to share about these energies. Then I remembered that I am personally being affected by this planetary alignment as all three cross the IC of my chart opposing my natal Jupiter and Pluto. Naturally, I have been feeling the magnifying effect of my own personal initiatory process and it was time for me to let go of whatever I thought I should know and surrender to the unknown.
When I get that feeling of not knowing (a predominant Neptune Initiatory experience) I have learned (when I can remember) to let go of trying to figure it out. Within hours of letting go, in the magical way synchronicity often happens, I came across the prefect description of what I was experiencing in the book The Spirit of Intimacy Ancient Teaching in the Ways of Relationships by Sobonfu E Some`. She talks about the importance of ritual or ceremony as a way to support Intimacy in Relationships, community and many other aspects of life including the Celestial Cycles. Today’s rare planetary configuration benefits from her wisdom that provides us with an excellent Neptunian strategy.
We cannot begin by figuring out in our brains exactly how a ritual (or planetary configuration) will work before we get into it. We have to start by recognizing and telling spirit that we recognize that we don’t know. There’s nothing wrong in not knowing. There’s something wrong in not saying that you don’t know. Actually spirit loves to hear that you don’t know because they do know. And they will take it as an invitation to what they have to do.
Spirits love to intervene in our affairs. But they don’t do it against our will. They are waiting over there for us to give them a job to do. We always talk about high unemployment in this world; just think about the other world! And so these are little odd jobs that we can through here and there to the waiting spirits, things for them to do for us. Maybe it is through doing these little things that we will travel our blind way back to the kind of community that will naturally hold us together.
This is a powerful time to do Ceremony by first surrendering what it is we think we know, and then moving into our hearts for guidance on how to further energize the New Earth consciousness.
May 28, Thursday. The Moon moves into Leo energizing the mysteries of radical radiant self-love, self- assurance, self-approval, self-confidence, and self-understanding or understanding self as an expression of the divine. About 6 or 7 years ago James Twyman http://www.emissaryoflight.com/ shared several messages from Thomas one of the many psychic children on the planet at this critical time. One message focused on how God descends upon the Earth, then it (God) pretends whatever it wants to be, before it (God) ascends back to its source. We humans are God pretending to be human and the way to turn it around is to pretend we are God. The thing is we are ALL God pretending to be human so part of our remembering is to know that we ALL have this specialness about us and each and everyone one of us is expressing some unique aspect of God. In essence it is honoring the God within ourselves and honoring the God within others and honoring God within all creation.

Neptune Stations Retrograde (26 Aquarius 29) creating a pause as Neptune shifts direction from the Earth’s perspective providing greater access to multi-dimensional realms of experience (particularly in the Celestial). May 29, Friday. The Moon is visible approaching the fixed star Regulus tonight. This is one of the Behenian stars that marks the Heart of the Lion. The Moon is further illuminating the mysteries of the Heart and our own heart knowing (Divine Heart Energy). This is a great time to note where the Moon and Regulus are tonight for the purpose of tuning into these energies and accessing the guidance that comes from deep within your heart. Our heart wisdom goes beyond anything our minds can comprehend.
May 30, Saturday. The First Quarter Half Full Moon (10 Virgo) is visible directly overhead at Sun set. This represents the balance we experience when we are in harmony with the natural rhythms and cycles of the Earth and Sky. It might be useful to take time to note if you are attuned to and attending your own personal rhythms of rest and activity? Are you honoring your body’s needs for exercise, nourishment and rejuvenation? Are you engaging the seasonal cycles, the Moon and other planetary cycles and all the other life cycles within cycles that are designed to facilitate balance and harmony when we consciously participate with them?
Mercury Stations Direct at 23 Degrees Taurus later today. This station marks the second Still Point of Mercury this month and because Mercury is usually the fastest moving planet (except when it is in a Still Point), the station points are often felt more intensely than when other planets shift direction. Once again, Mercury is linked with Thoth/Hermes Trismegistus, the progenitor of the Emerald Tablets, the guardian at the crossroads and the Hall of Records. The Still Point of Mercury represents an inter dimensional portal where we have greater access to the Hall of Records within in us when we take the time to cultivate our awareness and locate our inner Still Point. This can occur through meditation, journeying, dancing, yoga, or any other ways that help us locate the ancient/future divine wisdom literally coded into our DNA. (see May 1, 6, 13, 18, 20 and 23)
May 31, Sunday. Mars moves into Taurus until July 11. From now until July 11 the sacred Masculine principle is exploring the mysteries of sacred pleasure, intimacy and beauty as a highly spiritual experience. Imagine living in a world that honors beauty and pleasure as our highest sacred expression? Imagine living in a world that truly values intimacy and enjoyment while also celebrating and receiving them as sacred expressions of life. Imagine living in a world where the sacred feminine and the sacred masculine are both equally honored for their unique differences and equally important contributions, providing a sound basis for balance and harmony. Then moving beyond imagination into the realm of decisive action, Mars indicates this is the time to act in ways that support these images manifesting into our reality.
Chiron (26 Aquarius 14) stations retrograde and will go direct (21 Aquarius 13) on October 31, 2009. For those who have planets or angles between 20 and 27 degrees of Aquarius, Leo, Taurus and Scorpio, this Chiron station marks a deepening into your personal Chironic Initiation - intended to create opportunities to assimilate and transform whatever wounds you may still have into the medicine you carry. April 28, 2009: NASA's Swift satellite and an international team of astronomers have found a gamma-ray burst from a star that died when the universe was only 630 million years old--less than five percent of its present age. The event, dubbed GRB 090423, is the most distant cosmic explosion ever seen.
"The incredible distance to this burst exceeded our greatest expectations -- it was a true blast from the past," says Swift lead scientist Neil Gehrels at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center.

On the morning of February 20th, when Candy took this picture, the dust anti tail (left) had grown in prominence to quite outdo the gas tail (right), which points away from the Sun.
