2010 June Celestial Timings by Cayelin K Castell

Chaos results when the world changes faster than people. -author unknownChaos

Our real discoveries come from chaos, from going to the place that looks wrong and stupid and foolish. Chuck Palahniuk

Chaos often breeds life, when order breeds habit. Henry Brooks Adams

Chaos in the world brings uneasiness, but it also allows the opportunity for creativity and growth. Tom Barrett

Chaos is the score upon which reality is written.” Henry Miller

That we are now living in a time of immense chaos is obvious….The wisdom of Saint Teresa of Avila …understood the nature of Divine chaos…. A cycle of frantic social change is an expression of Divine chaos; that is, the stability factors that have held the social fabric in place are shifted seemingly in an instant and the result is chaos.

For Teresa of Avila (a prominent Spanish mystic, Carmelite nun, and writer of the Counter Reformation, and theologian of contemplative life through mental prayer), Divine chaos was God’s way of creating an upheaval in order to break through patterns of denial that held a person emotionally or mentally captive. Or Divine chaos brought about necessary endings to ways of living that ceased to serve the well being of humanity…

Ideally, our task is to become conscious of how we direct the power of our spirit into acts of creation during the course of our life. More or less, that sums it up. An illuminated soul is one who is on to the game, who really understands what Buddha meant by seeing clearly through the world of physical illusion and not being controlled by that world. Jesus would say, “Be in the world but not of the world.” Same truth, different words. What we are meant to become conscious of is how well we live in accordance to these high cosmic truths while in physical form. Caroline Myss

New Life out of Divine Chaos and Destruction

We are in chaotic, destructive times via earthquakes, fires, oil spills, hurricanes and tornados, floods, climate change, wars, terrorist attacks and global economic collapse just to name the ones that are making the headlines recently. Feelings of fear generated by increasing uncertainty of what might be next are a natural result. With all the intensifying planetary alignments over the next few weeks including ever increasing chaos, unpredictability and navigation through the unknown, it is easy to lose our center and perspective.
Burned Trees Mt Lemmon above Tucson Arizona

In mid-May I was hiking in the Santa Catalina Mountains with my beloved through an area that was devastated by the June 2003 month long Mt Lemmon fire that destroyed about 84,750 acres of land and 340 homes and business in the town of Summerhaven. Tucson was darkened by smoke from the fire for several weeks. The damage was in the millions not including the $17 million that was spent to fight the fire and another nearly $3 million that was spent to prevent soil loss after the fire.

burn on Mt LemmonThe fire started in ancient Aspen Grove. Hiking through this grove 7 years later we could see both the burned out trees as well as a thick forest of new Aspens that have emerged out of the destruction. Beautiful new cabins and homes have been built and Summerhaven is more vibrant and beautiful than it was before the fire.

Curious to know more, I found this headline:

New life is now coming back to Frog Mountain- the name given to the Catalina Mountains by the Tohono O'odham Indians.Mt Lemmon Aspens returning
Mt. Lemmon is a rare jewel in the hot Arizona desert. Jutting up 9,000 feet above sea level in the Santa Catalina Mountains 25 miles north of Tucson, Arizona, this magnificent mountain peak stands amidst the pale backdrop of the sparse desert sand and cactus.

These pictures show the new life that is emerging from this disaster and are a reminder that no matter how difficult the coming changes may be, it is clearing the way for new growth and beauty to emerge.

Another image of the returning growthMany events this month - including Jupiter entering Aries (June 5) and conjunct Uranus (June 8), Venus at the 4th gate (June 14), the Summer Solstice (June 21), Pluto opposite the Sun (June 25) and the Grand Cross Lunar Eclipse (June 26) just to name a few - are As Above events intended to support a greater So Below consciousness awakening. Being willing to face and embrace our fears liberates us to make more conscious choices from love and compassion rather than fear and survival. This is more important than ever as the old system and old beliefs continue to break down for the purpose of breaking through to expanded states of consciousness and new ways of living in harmony with each other and the Earth.

These thoughts from William Oehlstrom’s website inspired by his new book The Imbrium Codex are useful to contemplate as we navigate the coming weeks. The Imbrium Codex

The most dangerous belief systems are circular. They usually revolve around someone’s writings. Circular belief systems are done evolving. They make no room for alternate interpretations and do not encourage creativity. You will know that you are in the presence of a circular belief system when after all the discussion is done you are told in frustration, “It is written, you are either one of the believers or you are not.”

You can be doubly certain that you are in the presence of a belief system when you hear that you will incur some sort of penalty in the now or in the hereafter if you choose not to believe.
The financial world is being run by a belief system, it is:

There is not enough for all, therefore someone must go without.

This is the paradigm at the heart of corruption, pollution and war. Belief systems have consequences. The questions that we need to ask ourselves are:
What are the belief systems we each hold that are not regenerative?
How do we need to change our beliefs to create a sustainable future?
Will we realize what changes need to be made and make them before it’s too late? www.theimbriumcodex.com/theconversation/index.php/belief-systems/#more-17

Chaos - Where Great Dreams Begin (print available) Before a great vision can become reality there may be difficulty. Before a person begins a great endeavor, they may enounter chaos. As a new plant breaks the ground with great difficulty, foreshadowing the huge tree, so must we sometimes push against difficulty in bringing forth our dreams. Daily June Timings
June 01, Tuesday. Neptune stationed retrograde yesterday (28 Aquarius 42) or really early today for those in far eastern time zones. Neptune remains retrograde until November 6/7 when it goes direct at 25 Aquarius 55. If you have natal planets or angles between 25 and 29 degrees of the fixed signs or the signs of Self Interest as described in Shamanic Astrology (Scorpio, Taurus, Aquarius and Leo) then you are in a Neptune Initiation.

This is an initiation process that facilitates growth through the encounter with the unknown. For those who are feeling they have no idea where they are going, or what to do next, this is exactly where they are meant to be now. This is meant to be an encounter with the unknown and cannot be successfully navigated through logic and reason. Rather this is a time for dreaming and visioning and taking time to listen and recognize the guidance that is coming from the part of you that knows. Listening to your inner guidance helps you to know when to simply be with the unknown and when to intuitively act.

This affirmation can be a great reminder when under the influence of Neptune.

I am grateful for the wisdom that reminds me it is OKAY to NOT know who I am or where I am going. I am grateful for my willingness to allow myself to embrace the unexpected gifts of living in the unknown.

I encourage everyone to check out Mary Lane and her new book Divine Nourishment, A Woman’s Sacred Journey with Food. I highly recommend Mary's book. It connects the dots between the revolutionary food movement, living and eating according to the Earth’s wisdom and the healing and reclamation of the Divine Feminine. It not only explains the connection, but also gives you practical daily and seasonal support to heal and restore your sacred relationship with them all. You receive practices, stories, seasonal tips, even recipes in this profound, honest, supportive book. It’s a fabulous book for women who are empowering and reclaiming themselves. Please check it out! When you purchase Divine Nourishment on June 1st, at http:// www. divinenourishment.net/promotion you will receive bonus gifts from amazing transformational leaders including Women of Wisdom, Susan Weed, Divine Feminine Awakened Masculine Institute, Daily Om, and many others.

June 02, Wednesday. Jupiter enters Aries (crossing the Vernal Equinox marker in the sky) on June 5 for the first time in nearly 12 years. Jupiter’s quest for meaning and purpose in the Aries domain operates through an inspired leap of faith into what is just and true. The last time Jupiter entered Aries when Uranus was also in early degrees of Aries was on June 6, 1927. At that time, Pluto was near the mid-degrees of Cancer (somewhat opposite of where Pluto is now around 4 degrees of Capricorn). Saturn entered Capricorn on March 15, 1929 with Uranus at 6 Aries and Pluto at 16 Cancer. Plus the North Node was in Cancer and the South Node was in Capricorn in early degrees opposite of where the Nodes are now.
greatdepression.gif

This was a time when a cascade of events led to the chaos of the Great Depression and World War II creating a major collective assemblage point shift in beliefs and ways of experiencing the world. Once again, we have the same planets gathering in similar ways coming back together in the Householder Signs (a.k.a the cardinal signs) and we already are seeing signs of economic collapse and environmental disasters designed to wake us up and move us to take an inspired leap of faith - to act on what we feel is ours to do in supporting the changes that bring us back into balance with the Earth and each other. (above image here)

Staying asleep, pretending this isn’t happening, only assures the dramatic events will intensify. Uranus will produce whatever events are necessary to create an assemblage point shift. These usually occur as events beyond our control and are intended to assure change. We must make different choices about how we live with each other and the planet or these events will continue to intensify. Our conscious participation now is more important than ever because if we are not taking action that is part of the solution we are contributing to the problem and the coming changes will be more difficult.

For example, our entire global economy is built on elaborate illusions and those bubbles are continuing to burst. For those who are invested in the current economy and keeping it afloat this will be a difficult and painful transitional time. For those who are willing to explore innovative ways to live sustainably and create sound economic prosperity for all, this transition is most welcome and long overdue. (see June 8)

June 03, Thursday. The Moon is 4.3 degrees NNW of retrograde Neptune in the morning sky visible only with a telescope and passes by Chiron shortly after. Even though we can’t see the Moon with Neptune or Chiron, we can see the Moon and it acts as a transmitter. The Moon passes by all the planets once each month. When it passes Neptune it is transmitting and amplifying our encounter with the unknown via the celestial realm. When the Moon passes by Chiron it also amplifies the energy of shamanic healing that exists beyond ordinary reality.

On May 6, last month the day the Moon was conjunct Neptune and Chiron this headline Saudi Arabia to create renewable energy 'city' was in the news. The article states the wisdom of this plan saying…Saudi Arabia is right to realize that its oil reserves will not last forever. "It makes a whole lot of sense to diversify its energy future, particularly by seeking to utilize solar energy – KSA sits in a region of high solar intensity and minimal cloud cover…”

This article is a middle world example of innovative future oriented thinking that ideally could also help the planet in her own healing process if approached with the right intention. It is not possible to know the true intent behind this and yet this article is the kind of evidence that let us know humanity is waking up to the plight of our planet. It may not always seem to be so however, there is unfolding divine plan orchestrated from a greater more cosmic wisdom that is intended to maximize our evolutionary experience.

Last Quater MoonJune 04, Friday. The Last Quarter Moon (14 Pisces 11) is also happening with Mars (27 Leo) opposite retrograde Neptune (27 Aquarius) calling our awareness to the visions and dreams of Neptune and Pisces and the actions (Mars) that help integrate them into our middle world experience.

Looking back to March 15 of this year we had the Pisces New Moon at 25 Pisces. In the unfolding Moon phase pattern of the year, the Pisces last quarter Moon always follows the Pisces New Moon. This year the Pisces Full Moon is on September 8, and the Pisces First Quarter Moon is December 13.

As mentioned in past Celestial Timings the Moon phases progress through a month always in the same pattern starting with the New Moon followed by the First Quarter Moon, the Full Moon, and finally the Last Quarter Moon, returning back to the New Moon 29.5 days later. These Moon phases are in different signs. For example, this month we have a Pisces Last Quarter Moon happening today. Then we will have the Gemini New Moon on June 12 and the First Quarter Moon is in Virgo on June 18. We also have a Full Moon Partial Lunar Eclipse on June 26 and the next last quarter Moon is in Aries on July 4. The pattern always repeats the same phases though in different signs each month.

Tracking the Moon phases by sign through the year, however, has a different pattern reversing the first and last quarter Moons. The pattern begins with the New Moon, followed by a Last Quarter Moon then a Full Moon and then the First Quarter Moon, before returning back to a New Moon. This is interesting to contemplate when considering the mysteries of any given sign going through all these Moon phases in a year but not in the order we experience the Moon phases in a month. Noting the pattern and working with it will perhaps reveal a better understanding of how this pattern is serving our growth and experience?

Tuning into this year’s pattern from the Pisces perspective we experienced the Pisces New Moon in March of this year. That was a time of planting new seeds around the Pisces mysteries. Today we have the Pisces Last Quarter Moon representing an integration phase of the Moon cycle that connects the first phase with the last. The first and last Moon phases of any sign (not just Pisces) occur within three months of each other.

This brings to mind a line in Revelation 22:13 that says: I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. With the Moon Phases of the year in their own sign aligned with the first and the last this phrase is worth pondering to gain a greater sense of meaning. It is also interesting to remember we are at the end and beginning of an entire 26,000 year cycle, and is way bigger than any other patterns that are ending and beginning or beginning and ending now.

The Moon phases through Pisces asks the question; “How can I help and heal”? The Last Quarter phase is a time for synthesis and putting the answers to this question into action.

Moon and Jupiter at dawn

June 05, Saturday. The Moon is 6.3 degrees NNW of Jupiter (29 Pisces 59) around 11 pm Pacific time tonight passing about 6 degrees NNW of Uranus (0 Aries) at 11:18 pm Pacific time just before Jupiter enters Aries at 11:29 pm Pacific. (see June 2)

Also today Chiron stations retrograde at 0 Pisces 59 pausing to deepen awareness around the healing gifts of radical compassion for ourselves and others. Radical compassion comes from our deep awareness of our wounds and all the ways we might feel our own suffering or the suffering of another transformed by our willingness to accept what IS in each moment moving beyond our current programming to fix it, relieve it, and make it be different. Resistance however only causes our experience to persist in some form or another. Acceptance of all that is and has been is the key to transformation. Granted it is often difficult and seemingly impossible to get to the place of acceptance. How in the world do we accept the unfairness of life and how we have been treated, or the health and physical issues we face, or any number of excruciatingly unfair circumstances?

The key is to be willing to accept. This doesn’t mean you automatically accept what is. It means you are willing and by being willing you have taken the most important step toward acceptance. It may help to remember that accepting things as they are doesn’t mean we give up our desire for change or the willingness to take action to create change.

This is the difference between an addictive need for life to conform to our pictures of what we believe it should be and changing that to what we would prefer our life experience to be. Ken Keyes described this as the difference between a preference and a demand. We can still prefer what we prefer without demanding (or being fixated on our particular picture) that things be a certain a way.

Going with the flow and Accepting What Is For Now creates a space that releases the need for our experience to be different than what it IS. This is the key to greater happiness. Authentic acceptance is often all that is needed to facilitate radical change in unexpected ways, especially when we are not attached to what the change looks like. If acceptance is difficult then you might ask yourself if you are willing to accept what Is? If you are willing then you are already in the process of acceptance. If you are NOT willing that is okay and good Mars and Regulus in conjunctioninformation. Then the question to follow that up with is are you willing for your life to continue in the way that it is going now? Because, it will continue to unfold in its current pattern until you are willing to Accept what IS at least for now. (Prescriptions for Happiness by Ken Keyes.)

June 06, Sunday. Mars is passing .83 degrees NNE of Regulus (29 Leo 59), the heart of the Lion and one of the four royal stars of ancient times. This is one of the closest passages of a planet by a star this year. The exact closeness of this passage may not be visible in your time zone but you will see them close together in the sky tonight look WSW. Then Mars enters Virgo at 11:11 pm Pacific Time traveling through this area of the sky until July 29 when Mars enters Libra.

Ebertin-Hoffman in their book The Fixed Stars and Their Interpretations remind us that the revolutionary energy of Mars near Regulus as seen by the ancients was a time for active change in the world of form. They said; "…when Mars or Saturn are in conjunction with Regulus, especially exciting events are always recorded e.g. assassinations, coup detat, revolutions, revolts, demonstrations, overthrow of heads of state and similar events." Mars passes this star about every two years, the last time was late June and early July of 2008.

Regulus is one of the 15 Behenian stars or magical stars of the ancient alchemists. They believed that whenever a planet was within 6 degrees of one of these stars it was a time the energy of the star was being magnified and could be best utilized in ceremonial creation of amulets, potions and other magical intentions. This was a time when they would focus their ceremonies toward the benefits of that particular star. Regulus operates best through heart-centered action. Through our intention and attention we can focus Mars and Regulus to act together from the wisdom and strength of the heart so that the coup detat or revolution now possible is about creating a divinely inspired result that benefits and lovingly supports all life on our great planet and beyond. This window began on May 26 and ends on June 18.

June 07, Monday. Jupiter and Uranus (Zero Aries) are closely conjunct making their exact alignment tomorrow at 4:25 am Pacific Time. Uranus is not visible without a telescope but Jupiter is visible in the morning sky giving us a sense of where these two are hanging out together. 83 years ago (1927) Jupiter and Uranus joined together near the zero degrees Aries point also known as the Spring Equinox area of the sky.

This was a time when the world was going through radical changes and this began some of the more intensified changes that later became known as the Great Depression and World War II. In 1927 Uranus and Jupiter were together. Jupiter moved on but from 1927 - 1930 Uranus was in early degrees Aries squaring the USA natal chart position of Venus, Jupiter and the Sun. Venus and Jupiter are the planets financial astrologers look to for financial health and well being.

It is very common for financial challenges to occur when Venus and Jupiter are being transited by the outer planets (especially Saturn, Uranus, and Pluto) either by square opposition or conjunction. This is consider a classic indicator for financial issues including bankruptcy for those who haven’t been handle their money in a healthy way. So can we guess what is up with the USA government? Uranus is known for being unpredictable but we can know for sure more changes in this arena are already unfolding. (See June 2)

June 08, Tuesday. The Moon enters Taurus transmitting the mysteries of sensual beauty, intimacy and sacred pleasure as a creative, orgasmic, artistic expression. However, the BIG event today is Jupiter passing .44 degrees SSE of Uranus in the morning sky. This is the closest passage of two planets from Earth’s perspective this year. There are two more activation points in the next six months when Jupiter joins Uranus on Sep 18, 2010 and Jan 4 of 2011. Today marks the first seeding point when the seeds of this new 83 year cycle featuring Jupiter and Uranus are activating through the magnifying, expansive power of Jupiter with the innovative cosmic consciousness expanding technology of Uranus initiating revolutionary assemblage point shifts in unpredictable events of extreme novelty.

This is a huge evolutionary leap beyond light speed, maximum warp speed, and slip stream drive to an even more highly advanced technology that we might imagine as wormhole, stargate technology that includes interplanetary and interdimensional travel. In this Wizard of Oz type experience the one thing we can know for sure is we are in the magical and mysterious land of Oz and we don’t know anything for sure except that Dorothy is definitely not in Kansas anymore.

PS…I love synchronicity and confirmation! I wrote this in early May and then came across this confirmation on the Mayan Day of No Shadows May 20…

New Vortex Forming - Stargate Systehttp://www.spiderrock.com/admin/data/upimages/Wave_VortexesEX.gifm Openings Are Affecting Everyone. We have had some serious energy stuff going on. A lot of communications and logistics issues to say the least in addition to dimensional overlays as the star gate systems continue to open and balance. Now that the triangulations have culminated and particulate relationships are reordered and reharmonized, there comes a vast opening of multiple Stargate systems. This is a multi-level system, meaning that it crosses the time space continuum, dimensional thresholds and is interconnected by a vast series of wormhole systems. These systems are regulated with a valve system which allows for a, for lack of better descriptive in your language, vacuum system type of operation which in turn allows for expedient transfer of matter in particulate form. At the same time, these valves maintain positive and negative pressure thresholds between transfer stations and angulation changes within the system.

This series of star gate systems was utilized by the precursors of the Atlanteans, beings of an intergalactic nature. These systems are the Um, the Lenhe, the Aetnalin, the Urnallum, the Renari , the Leioni and the Dendor. 7 being the number of truth, 7 being the number of Stargate systems opening. This will begin on October 3rd of 2009)

Not only are the stargates opening but every connection in their systems are also opened or opening. As this occurs, the energies within the systems become a vacuum, pulling in outside energies and catapulting them in focused directions. When this happens, the energies are far more powerful and clear harmonically and in their communications.http://www.spiritlite.com/messages.php

June 09, Wednesday. Mercury squares Neptune and passes within 6 degrees SE of the Pleiades just as it enters the sign of Gemini, at 10:41 pm Pacific time, traveling through the Gemini realm until June 25. This is a great time to tune into the process of knowing that goes way beyond the rules and regulations of our dualistic world transcending the rational mind and arriving at the irrational place of Crazy Wisdom. This Crazy Wisdom is intended to help guide us through these chaotic and illogical times that are being amplified by the Jupiter Uranus conjunction occurring over the next 6 months. Crazy Wisdom is probably one of the most helpful navigation tools we have reminding us about the gift of surrender. Surrendering what we think we know assists us in a knowing that goes far beyond ordinary knowing. In a crazy turn of perception surrendering what we think we know from the rational mind, ultimately brings us to the place of intuitively knowing more than we ever knew was possible.

We understand nothing!
If you understand this
You understand everything.
- Paul Mic

June 10, Thursday. The waning Moon passes 6.6 degrees N of the Pleiades and then joins Mercury. This is creating Mercury Moon Pleiades circle about 6 degrees in diameter. Mercury may not be visible in the Northern Hemisphere because it is so low on the eastern horizon before Sunrise. Plus, the waning Moon is also approaching its New Moon phase and will be conjunct the Sun on June 12. The waxing tiny crescent may be visible as early as June 13 or 14 depending on your time zone.

The Gemini Crazy Wisdom aspect of trusting your inner guidance does not necessarily make logical or rational sense but is ultimately one of the most powerful navigational tools in the Gemini Mysteries. It is not possible to understand what is happening in the middle world with a middle world consciousness (meaning logic and reason). Whatever we think we know from a middle world consciousness is most likely an illusion and not that real at all. It is only real because we believe it is real. (See Intro to June Timings) Gemini teaches us to jump empty handed into the void, take a leap of faith and trust that when we do we find ourselves in the place of greatest magic and freedom.

There is no greater mystery than this... that we keep seeking reality though, in fact, we are reality. - Ramana Maharishi

Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by rulers as useful. - Seneca the Younger

June 11, Friday. The waning crescent Moon passes by Aldebaran in the early morning sky only 11 degrees from the Sun so probably not visible. Aldebaran is the Eye of the Bull, and one of the four royal stars of ancient time, linked with Archangel Michael. This star symbolizes the mind and what is seen or understood as our reality through the lens of the mind that also often leads us astray. When we are willing to let go of the need to figure things out with our minds suddenly we understand that of course we don’t understand because the mind can’t possibly know it all. It is a place of surrender to what IS and freedom to BE without the “monkey mind” directing what we are doing or where we are going or what we are saying.

Monkey Mind is a Buddhist term describing the aspect of mind that is "unsettled; restless; capricious; whimsical; fanciful; inconstant; confused; indecisive; uncontrollable.” Like most monkeys jumping from tree to tree the Monkey Mind jumps from one thought to another distracting a person from experiencing the eternal NOW or present moment. Trying to stop thinking only causes a person to think more…the key is to go beyond thinking and that is the ultimate expression of Gemini. To go beyond Monkey Mind thinking requires surrender and that is not a process that can be taught. Again, the key is in being willing to surrender. Willingness to go beyond the Monkey Mind is the key to unexpectedly finding yourself there.

"OOhh ooohh aaaahh aahhhhh aaaaahhhhhh!" - The Monkey Buddha

Men honor what lies within the sphere of their knowledge, but do not realize how dependent they are on what lies beyond it ~Chuang Tse

June 12, Saturday. The Gemini New Moon (21 Gemini 24) is at 4:15 am Pacific transmitting the mysteries of “crazy wisdom” or the type of wisdom that is about expanding conscious awareness and reminding us that life is not as serious as we sometimes believe it to be, as illustrated in this quote by Nicolas Butler:

The one serious conviction that a (hu)man should have is that nothing is to be taken too seriously! - Nicholas Butler

This quote from Chuang Tse is from memory so it may not be word for word…but hey that is also perfect for the Crazy Wisdom of Gemini.

Right is not right. So is not So. If right were really right, it would differ so greatly from not right that there would be no need for argument. If so were really So, it would differ so greatly from not so that there would be no need for argument. -Chuang Tse

orion and the belt starsThis New Moon is also located near the three main stars of the belt of Orion. These three stars from east to west are Alnitak, Alnilam, and Mintaka. All three stars are near 23 degrees Gemini. Alnilam (a bright second magnitude star) is an Arabic word translated to mean "the String of Pearls," and marks the standard for comparing the brightness of other stars. Pearls are the oldest known gem and have been highly valued by nearly every culture on our planet. Pearls represent precious wisdom or perhaps crazy wisdom. Suggesting this is the perfect time to plant some crazy wisdom seeds or “pearls” that act as an unpredictable guide through these crazy, fast changing, really unreal times while having fun, fun, fun along the way. This is time to ask yourself this question. If it is not fun then why are you doing it? (See June 9, 10. 11)

June 13, Sunday. The Moon moved into Cancer late yesterday crossing the Galactic Cross marking the Galactic Edge. There may be a tiny sliver of the Moon visible tonight depending on your time zone and where you are located. In many ancient traditions it is the first visible crescent Moon that marks the actual beginning of the New Moon phase. If you see a New Moon tonight this is when to do your New Moon ceremony. If the crescent Moon is visible where you are you will see it looking NW in the evening sky after Sunset. In Tucson the Moon is setting around 9 pm depending on your horizon line and the Sun sets around 7:30 pm again depending on your horizon so it is very likely here we will see the tiny crescent provided there are clear skies.

Mercury is disappearing off the world stage and beginning its psycho-pomp phase, though technically visible until June 21 for Northern Hemisphere observers this cycle is a poor showing of Mercury in the morning sky.

June 14, Monday. Today marks the earliest Sunrise of the Year though the date and time can vary depending on your latitude. First we have the earliest Sunrise and then we have the longest day of the year on the June Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere followed by the latest Sunset of the year on June 28. It is opposite in the Southern Hemisphere with it being the earliest Sunset and the shortest day of the year.

Venus moves into Leo at 1:50 am Pacific time and is met by the Moon around 10:35 pm Pacific time. The Moon passes 4 degrees SSW of Venus 10:35 pm Pacific Time after both have already set so the exact conjunction will not be visible here. This marks the passage of Venus (Inanna) through the fourth gate representing the fourth chakra where she retrieves her golden breast plate known as ‘come man come.’ This symbolizes the retrieval of Inanna’s ability to truly love herself and know her divinity so that she can now fully love others with an open compassionate heart.
4th Chakra

The 4th chakra is our life force generator connecting us with the energy of the cosmos. It also governs the emotional realms including love, kindness, generosity, and compassion. Last year when Inanna was releasing her vestments going into the underworld she released the shadow aspects of this chakra including lust, fraud, indecision, anxiety, longing, impartiality, arrogance, incompetence, discrimination and defiance. Her descent into the underworld did not make logical sense but rather Inanna was following her heart as it was guiding her into a deep underworld initiation for the purpose of empowering her through death (surrender) and rebirth. She has successfully gone through the transformational initiation process and is returning to reclaim healthy self-love and the love of life.

This Venus gate is especially important for anyone turning a multiple of 8 (16, 24, 32, 40, 48, 56, 64, 72, 80 and 88 between April 3, 2009 and Nov 4, 2010) as you are in an eight year Venus Return Initiation cycle for the entire 584 day cycle. Understanding and working with the intent of this cycle is valuable for anyone desiring a greater conscious connection with the divine feminine aspect they are investigating this time around.

June 16 Sky map

June 15, Tuesday. Tonight the Moon will be visible beyond Venus and the Moon and is passing about 4 degrees South of the Beehive Cluster about 43 degrees from the Sun in the evening sky and will pass by Regulus tomorrow night. As mentioned in previous Celestial Timings this is the area of the sky the recent Mars retrograde crossed three times.
The Beehive Cluster is also known as Praesepe, a Latin word for manger. Astronomers called it M44. It is an open cluster (one of the largest in this area of the sky) of stars located at about 7 degrees into the seasonal sign of Leo and located in the constellation of the Crab (a.k.a Cancer). Under dark skies the Beehive looks like a swarm of stars with more than 40 stars visible to the naked eye and is often seen as a cloudy patch.

The Beehive Cluster was one the first objects that Galileo studied with his telescope. The best way to find this cluster is to first locate the twin stars Pollux and Castor. Then looking left or to the east locate Regulus at the base of the backward question mark. The Beehive Cluster lies somewhere in between Pollux and Regulus and is difficult to see unless you are under a very dark sky because even though it is a 3rd magnitude cluster it is spread about a degree and half across the sky with its light spreading over an area bigger than three full Moons. Binoculars can be a big help in spotting it. The young new Moon nearby helps to locate it but also makes it more difficult to see as it is best seen under a dark sky.
Some of the sky lore of this constellation is that it represents the crab that bit the heel of Hercules l during his fight with the Lernean Hydra (see June 17) and was placed amongst the stars in gratitude by Juno, the enemy of Hercules. [Robson*, p.33.] In ancient times this cluster often served to predict the weather; if not crystal clear inclement weather might be on the way. Pliny said, "If Praesaepe is not visible in a clear sky it is a presage of a violent storm".

June 16, Wednesday. Lyrid Meteor Shower peaks and the Moon is passing 4.5 degrees SW of Regulus (29 Leo 59) entering Virgo around 10:41 pm Pacific Time. Regulus is the heart of the Lion and one of the four royal stars, watcher of the North, and linked with Archangel Raphael whose specialty is healing. The healing energies of Regulus are most effective when guided by the heart and the heart’s true desire. Regulus moves into Virgo for the first time in about 26,000 years in the year 2012 and the Moon passing by here and entering Virgo is giving a flavor of what is intended when Regulus does move into Virgo. Over the next couple of years Regulus is completing a nearly 2100 year dance with Leo and the heart healing that comes from divinely inspired self-love. It is interesting to note that much of the collective programming has been geared toward a general lack of support for healthy self-love or regard for oneself.

Many of the religious and spiritual teachings are centered on selfless service and sacrifice of one’s self to gain an experience of the divine. The Leo Mystery School has suffered greatly as a result and we have been left with mostly the Leo shadow that expresses as I am divinely appointed by God, or I am God and you are not, meaning everyone else is here to serve me. Healthy models of radical radiant Leo style self-love have been hard to find. We are reminded Regulus is in the final moments of its Leo journey over the next couple of years and the best way to experience healthy self-love is to listen deeply to our heart knowing.

The Moon’s move into Virgo helps with this when we are attuning to the transmission coming from the ancient knowledge of the healing patterns Virgo knows so well intended to transform any imbalances in our vibrational expression. This further illuminates the possibilities of the changes already in progress. Combining this with the wisdom of the heart is a powerful combination for personal and planetary healing that will help guide us through these transformative Times.

June 17, Thursday. The Moon is visible beyond Mars (5 Virgo 27) in the evening sky tonight making an early morning conjunction around 7:53 am Pacific Time. This Moon Mars conjunction represents the 2nd labor of Mars in his current quest for radical, radiant, healthy, divinely inspired self-love, self-confidence, self-approval and self-acceptance.
The labors of Mars are similar to the semi-divine Greek Hero known as Hercules. The labors of Hercules are most often recounted as 12 or 10 but vary in number according to different Tellings. Hercules was named after the goddess Hera who hated Hercules because Zeus (her husband and father to Hercules) had cheated on her with a mortal woman named Alcmene. Hera was angry with Zeus for naming Hercules after her, so she was determined to make trouble for Hercules. On one occasion Hera caused Hercules to lose his mind and kill his own wife and children.

Shocked and ashamed by what he had done, Hercules prayed to the god Apollo for guidance. Hercules was told by Apollo's oracle to serve Eurystheus, the king of Tiryns and Mycenae, for twelve years, to atone for his crime.

Hercules and the HydraThe King commanded Hercules to perform twelve (again the number varies) seemingly impossible labors or feats. These labors were ultimately initiations that strengthened Hercules in body, mind and spirit plus endeared him to the Greeks.

In the cycle of Mars, the hero goes through several Labors or tasks that also are designed to strengthen his body, mind and spirit. The labors of Hercules are a way to get a sense of the tasks Mars may be encountering at this time. The second labor of Hercules was to kill the Lernaean Hydra a terrifying serpent with nine heads that would grow two in its place when one head was cut off. In addition to that, the Hydra reeked of deadly poisonous fumes and was a guardian to one of the entrances to the Underworld.

To defeat the beast Hercules called on his nephew Iolaus to burn the neck stumps of the Hydra after Hercules cut them off preventing them from growing back. This labor required ingenuity and outside help to successfully complete. The King was displeased that Hercules got outside help and refused to recognize this as a successfully completed task. Mythically speaking, this may represent the beginning of the belief that asking for help is a sign of weakness. However, Hercules had the wisdom to ask for help to accomplish this task and so ultimately it showed strength of character and a willingness to wisely recognize his limits.

This labor of Mars includes the wisdom of asking for help to eliminate the demons of the mind symbolized by the multi-headed hydra that guards the entrance to the sub-conscious. When we try to eliminate certain thoughts they will multiply. Hercules learned he couldn’t simply beat his thoughts into submission. He needed outside help and the alchemy of fire to overcome the uncontrollable thoughts of his conscious mind. By thinking outside the box and finding ways to access the sub-conscious or super conscious mind Hercules was able to transcend the limits of the conscious mind at least long enough to eliminate the Hydra.

The ending of the story suggests that once the Hydra (conscious mind) is slain it is best to leave it alone. Hercules collected the poisonous blood of the Hydra indicating he was still hanging onto some of the limits of the conscious mind. This act later caused him intolerable pain because he didn’t know how to turn the poison of the beast (the mind) into medicine - a teaching that comes from Chiron.

In the context of this labor of Mars the process suggests true self-love and self-confidence comes from eliminating the beast of the mind within so it does not do harm to self and others. If this task is only partially completed, then whatever is not completed will be encountered again. Most importantly remember to ask for help including your guides and guardian angels if you need it. Your guides are always with you and desire to help but will not unless they are asked.

June 18, Friday. The First Quarter Moon (27 Virgo 49) is exact at 9:29 pm Pacific Time very near Saturn. The Moon is passing about 7.5 degrees SSW of Saturn at 10:04 pm Pacific Time. We only have one more Moon conjunction with Saturn in Virgo before Saturn moves back into Libra leaving this area of the sky for about 27 years. The Moon with Saturn is transmitting the Virgo mysteries that are about creating new structures for living in balance and sacred reverence with the Earth. Going out and being with the Moon and Saturn and asking for guidance, about how to best honor and create new ways of living in balance and harmony with our beloved Earth Mother, is a great way to engage this timing.

June 19, Saturday. The Moon moves into Libra in the early morning hours transmitting the mysteries of conscious relationships intended to assist a person in knowing more of who they are through the reflection of others in their life including friends, family, any significant others and the Earth herself. (See June 18)

Saturn (28 Virgo 07) reaches quadrature meaning it is square the Sun (28 Gemini 07) at 6:19 am Pacific Time and Neptune is Trine the Sun at 5:23 pm. The Saturn Sun square signals the full speed ahead motion of Saturn after its direct station last month. Since May 30 when Saturn stationed direct at (27 Virgo 50) it has only moved 17 minutes or just over one quarter of a degree in 20 days. (There are 60 minutes in one degree and thirty degrees in a sign.) Saturn now picks up speed reaching 29 Virgo by July 7 moving nearly one whole degree in 17 days as opposed to moving only 17 minutes in 20 days. This is a more action oriented time for Saturn activating tangible results in the world of form based on what has been incubating during the Saturn retrograde.

Conversely retrograde Neptune (28 Aquarius 37) is just reaching a trine to the Sun (28 Gemini 37) having moved only 5 minutes since it stationed retrograde on May 31 at 28 Aquarius 42. The outer planets (except for Mars) are always trine the Sun either just after they station retrograde or just before they station direct and represent a still point or a time where the planet is seemingly stopped in the sky from the Earth’s perspective. This is a time for contacting the still point within and receiving guidance that comes from beyond the realm of logic and reason.

Balancing the forward movement of Saturn with the still point energy of Neptune is an interesting dichotomy requiring being with both stillness and action at the same time. It can be very useful to take time to meditate, pray, check in with oneself and the part of the self that knows, and then from that inner guidance, taking action in the world of form to create new harmonious, healthy structures guided by Love and Grace.

Venus passes .68 degrees (less than 1 full degree) NNE of the Beehive Cluster. It is interesting to note that in 2012 the Summer Solstice will begin falling on June 20th in some years. According the Guy Ottewell’s Astronomical Calendar the Summer Solstice would sometimes fall on June 22 up until 1975.

The Moon is passing 3 degrees SSW of Spica in the evening sky on this Summer Solstice eve or Mid-Summer’s eve. That means the Moon is visible near this fixed star located at 23 Libra in the constellation of the Virgin Priestess (a.k.a. Virgo see difference between Signs and Constellations) energizing the sacred mysteries of conscious equal partnership, harmony, and balance. It is worth noticing where the Moon is tonight if you do not know how to locate this magical Behenian bright blue star. Remember the Behenian stars were thought to be more potent when planets were within 6 degrees. (See June 6)

Spica is zodiacally aligned with Arcturus (a bright red star) in the constellation of Bootes, both found at 23 Libra. A meteor shower is taking place here later in the month. (see June 27) Spica is the star marking the hand of the “Winged Virgin” or Virgin Priestess (the original meaning of the world Virgin meant “not married”) and is the brightest star of this constellation located close to the Ecliptic meaning Spica can be occulted by the Moon. At present time the Moon is passing to the South of Spica but will begin a series of occultations July 25, 2012 that goes through December 27, 2013. http://www.earthsky.org/radioshows/51514/star-near-moon-on-august-17-is-spica

June 21, Monday. The Summer Solstice is exact at 4:30 am Pacific Time. This is when the Sun reaches zero Cancer and is rising and setting at its furthest Northern point in the Northern Hemisphere (it is opposite in the Southern Hemisphere hence the opposite season there). The Summer Solstice is the seasonal marker signaling a time when the abundance of life is at its fullest expression, the most amount of light in a day is available in this part of the yearly cycle.

The Solstices and Equinoxes form the four gates, or four directions, of the celestial medicine wheel. These seasonal gates are activated by the Sun in a rhythmic pattern and the Solstice gates are currently aligned near the Galactic Center and the Galactic Edge, something that happens for a number of years every 26,000 years. 13,000 years ago the mirror image or opposite solstices were aligned at these points.

Uranus reaches quadrature with the Sun meaning the Sun (0 Cancer) is Square Uranus (O Aries) suggesting unusual events designed to revolutionize our experience of reality. These events may be subtle or obvious depending on what is needed.(see June 23)

The Moon in Scorpio encourages us to explore and expand the edges of our individual and collective experience. Edgewalking describes a healthy Scorpio approach to life, pushing past the known edges and being born anew in unchartered territory. Healthy Scorpio willingly engages the mysteries of death, trusting the process of rebirth like the phoenix diving into the fires of seeming doom and then magically emerging renewed, revitalize, transformed and more empowered than before. The successful fulfillment of this process requires releasing all attachments to outcome.

June 22, Tuesday. The T-square of Saturn opposite Uranus and Jupiter, with all three being squared Pluto continues to move closer together making its closest alignment in about a month. In this Solstice nexus it is worth taking time to tune into these energies as we approach the Grand Cross of the Lunar Eclipse on June 26. Saturn and Jupiter are Middle World planets, visible in this world, Uranus is a Celestial World Planet and Pluto is an Underworld planet. Encountering all three worlds at once is challenging from a Middle World perspective, unless a person can remain connected to the “Big Picture.”

Below is the Druidic trinity symbol for Awen found here.

Druid symbol for awenOne way to stay centered and connected to greater meaning and purpose and the intent of all three worlds is through conscious breathing. Conscious breath has had many names in different cultures including prana and chi. The Druids called it “Awen” (breath of divine inspiration). Awen has three main principles; understanding truth, loving truth; and maintaining truth.

Druidic practices include chanting the word “Awen” as a way to open to the flow of inspiration and energy coming from the other worlds and anchoring it more fully in this realm. There are many different forms of conscious breath that can have different effects. The main thing is to find the conscious breathing practice that works for you. If you feel guided, this is a great time to test out this practice to see if it works for you. Daily conscious breathing and chanting is highly recommended to help navigate these chaotic times.

Mercury (23 Gemini) is traveling with the Sun and will be conjunct the Sun on June 28. Though not visible Mercury is now zodiacally aligned with three main stars marking the belt of Orion or "the String of Pearls” as mentioned in the June 18 Timings. Pearls are associated with the feminine principle, the Moon, wisdom and perfection, the third eye of Buddha, pure intentions and represent the crystallization of light, enlightenment, the generative power of the waters. The Taoist see the Sun opening doorways and Mercury is a messenger bringing the messages from the stars to us when we open to receive them. (*The Living Stars by Dr. Eric Morse **An Illustrated Encyclopaedia of Traditional Symbols by J.C. Cooper)

June 23, Wednesday. Jupiter (2 Aries) reaches quadrature or is square the Sun (2 Cancer) at 5:28 pm Pacific Time. This means Jupiter is rising around mid-night and is directly overhead about the time the Sun is rising in the morning. Anyone who has planets or angles in the early degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn are on the leading edge of the initiatory energies and the Grand Cross that is happening now. In addition to Jupiter and the Sun this Grand Cross approaching the June 26 Lunar Eclipse acceleration also includes Uranus (0 Aries), retrograde Pluto (4 Capricorn) and Saturn (28 Virgo 34) almost at zero Libra. (See June 26)

The Moon moves into Sagittarius at 11:10 am Pacific Time energizing the quest for the meaning and purpose of life. Shamanic Astrology operates from the As Above, So Below premise that life has meaning and purpose and Sagittarius is the archetypal energy most interested in discovering what that is.

June 24, Thursday. St. John’s Day. This day honors and celebrates the birth of John the Baptist and the Summer Solstice. In ancient times it was actually the eve of June 24 when the bonfires were lit and the celebrations began. St. John’s Day is the most important day of the year to the Free Masons and Knight’s Templars among others. These organizations regarded St. John the Baptist as more important than Jesus causing some researchers to speculate about the reasons. (See June 24, 2009 Archives)

Mercury (28 Gemini 35) squares Saturn (28 Virgo 35) reminding us that what we think and believe is what ultimately structures our reality. One way to change our experience is to change our thinking.

Our ultimate freedom is the right and power to decide how anybody or anything outside ourselves will affect us. `Stephen Covey

June 25, Friday. The Moon moves into Capricorn crossing the Galactic Center as Mercury crosses the Galactic Edge and moves into Cancer. Plus, retrograde Pluto reaches opposition to the Sun. All of these events are occurring in the range of Galactic Alignment where both Solstices are located on the Galactic Crosses. There are two Galactic Crosses where the plane of the Milky Way intersects the Plane of our Solar System. One is near Galactic Center and the other is near the Galactic Edge. The current alignment occurs once about every 26,000 years lasting around 144 years. We have been near the center point of the current Galactic Alignment for the last 22 years.

Today the Moon and Mercury are at these crosses though Mercury is not currently visible because the Sun is also at the Cross near the Galactic Edge. Pluto is near the Cross at the Galactic Center and will be with the Moon tomorrow during the Lunar Eclipse. As expressed in this passage from The Imbrium Codex by William Oehlstrom not only are we at the Turning of the Ages but at a time when we will remember how to manifest at will…

At the heart of Ularian philosophy is the concept that consciousness causes atomic particles to coalesce into physical form. They believed that humanity’s ability to learn to operate this mechanism is affected by our solar system’s position in the great cycle of our binary orbit. During the golden age humans manifest form at will. During the dark age we find it almost impossible to bend the atomic realm to our will. he Imbrium Codex www.theimbriumcodex.com/theconversation/index.php/the-creative-principle/#more-6

The Sun (2 Cancer) is opposite Pluto (2 Capricorn) marking the mid-point of Pluto’s retrograde cycle (retrogrades symbolize a deepening process). Once each year the Sun and Pluto reach opposition signaling a fruition point, a place where illumination and understanding are possible. This is especially true when we are open to facing and embracing our deepest fears, recognizing them as great teachers who are ultimately assisting us in experiencing liberation and transformation.

June 26, Saturday. The Full Moon Partial Lunar Eclipse (4 Capricorn 46) conjunct Pluto is in a Grand Cross acceleration that may further illuminate deep rooted fear for the purpose of transforming it. This eclipse Full Moon is occurring near Galactic Center accelerating the transformational power of Pluto. The Sun is near the Galactic Edge and Jupiter and Uranus are at the Vernal Equinox point. Saturn (28 Virgo 26) is about a degree and half away from the Autumnal Equinox Point of zero Libra crossing back over this point next month. In addition to the Grand Cross energy at the Solstice and Equinox points, this is the closest eclipse to Pluto in Capricorn for at least 19 years.

In a Lunar eclipse the shadow of the Earth covers the face of the Moon (at least partially) reminding us of the importance of being willing to embrace and transform our shadow parts. Our shadow includes whatever has been disowned, denied, or repressed, including our greatest talents and abilities.

The made for TV movie Earthsea based on the novels by Ursela LeGuin is a good guide for http://uk.moviepilot.com/files/images/0236/3283/Earthsea_302066625_article.jpg addressing our personal Shadow. (The books of course are even better.) The hero, a young mage, named Ged has accidently conjured a shadow creature (Gebeth) from the underworld that wants to kill him. Ged runs from the creature to save his life, however, the Gebeth is leaving death and destruction in his wake. Exhausted and out of options Ged finally turns to a wise mentor for help and receives these instructions:

You must turn around. If you keep running the evil will drive you, choosing the way you go. You must do the choosing. You must seek what seeks you. You must make this Gebeth your own. If you are a fugitive and it finds you, and you have used your strength in fleeing, it will prevail. But if you are doing the seeking…

Ged interrupts wondering and wanting assurance that if he seeks the shadow then he will be the one to prevail…The wizard replies that he cannot tell what will happen but stands by his council and ends by saying…”if you want to cease being hunted, you must become the hunter.”

We all are being hunted by our own shadow. The path of freedom and empowerment requires us to face our own shadow and find a way to integrate it into our being. Ged sets out to do just that. This movie, although lacking a bit in production and acting, is a brilliant demonstration of the destruction and misery that results when we run from our shadow and the empowerment that happens when we are willing to face and embrace it with love and compassion.

One way to ceremonially engage this Lunar Eclipse is to watch this movie and then ask yourself if you still have any shadow parts you are avoiding, denying or trying to escape? If so, do you have the courage to stop, turn around and choose to face the Gebeth or Shadow that is chasing you? Do you have the courage to embrace what you most fear and thus become empowered and whole as result?

June 27, Sunday. The Bootids meteor shower is active from June 22 to July 2 with today being the most active point. The still Full Moon will diminish the visibility of this Meteor Shower thought there may still be a few good meteors visible. The June Bootid Meteor shower had been dormant for 70 years when it suddenly reappeared in 1998. This meteor shower has been known to produce a hundred or more slow meteors per hour. http://www.spaceweather.com/images2003/27jun03/skymap_north_med.gif
To locate the Meteor shower, find Arcturus by following the arc of the handle of the Big Dipper to locate the bright red star Arcturus and the general direction of the meteor shower.. This time of year about 10 pm local time Arcturus is overhead.

Mercury (4 Cancer) is opposite Pluto (4 Capricorn) still within the powerful window of yesterday’s Lunar Eclipse. Mercury represents the processes of thinking, perception and cognition. Pluto exposes the shadow or places of fear that influences thinking and perception. Consciously acknowledging and leaning into any fear, worry, concern, or self-judgment, rather than denying it or trying to pretend it isn’t there, can be terrifying. It takes tremendous courage to be willing to embrace your shadow but well worth the gift of liberation that is the result.

And the day came when the risk that it took to remain tight in a bud was greater than the risk it took to blossom." - Anais Nin

June 28, Monday. Today marks the latest Sunset of the year. (See June 14 for earliest Sunrise. Also December 8 is the earliest Sunset of the year). Plus, the Sun conjuncts Mercury (6 Cancer 41) in the pyschopomp phase of the Mercury cycle. This is when Mercury acts a guide for souls who are going through personal initiation experiences. This Sun Mercury conjunction is square Pluto so the primary initiations at this time seem to be in the underworld where we encounter our fears as mentioned in June 26 and 27 Timings. Mercury will reappear in the evening sky around July 6 but will be most easily visible around July 26. (See June 26 and 27)

The Moon moves into Aquarius transmitting the mysteries of the radical revolutionary who inspires innovative change and evolution.

June 29, Tuesday. Mercury conjuncts the South Node of the Moon (11 Cancer) helping us to connect with the messages of the past that we can use to help us move toward our destiny. It is also a time for releasing the memories and beliefs around past experiences that prevent us from fully living our divine destiny now.

June 30, Wednesday. The Moon conjuncts retrograde Neptune before moving into Pisces and catching up to retrograde Chiron (0 Pisces 39). The Moon is an amplifier and is supporting an assemblage point shift designed to dismantle the existing misconception that suffering and sacrifice are necessary for atonement and liberation. Chiron is helping to turn the wounds of this old belief into our medicine in ways that support the genuine experience of freedom and love through compassion and forgiveness.

I loved this thrilling, though provoking and confirming new novel The Imbrium Codex written by William Oehlstrom www.theimbriumcodex.com It is a fast paced high tech adventure about “The Turning of The Ages” and the possibilities that exist beyond consensus reality while also exploring the question “are we the most advanced civilization to ever have called the Earth our home” and what that portends.

Nasa Story worth checking out... Big Mystery: Jupiter Loses a Stripe

Caught on telescope: "impossible" star
Get out of the way, Hollywood. This star will be brighter than every celeb on the planet combined. Scientists’ European-built Herschel space telescope is their version of Tinseltown’s paparazzi, which caught on tape the beginning of a big star. And we mean really, really big. So enormous, it would block out the sun. Not to mention Angelina Jolie.
Researchers can't explain how what they're calling the "impossible" star came to be. The star was discovered in a star-forming cloud in the Milky Way Galaxy called RCW 120. And here's the coolest part: Even as a baby star, it is already eight to ten times larger than our sun, and it's still feeding on the gas and dust clouds around it. The star is set to be one of the biggest and brightest stars in our galaxy within the next few hundred thousand years — meaning, this star won't ever be a part of our lives. But hey, if movies are still around in the way future, this gigunda star should seriously considering signing with a talent agent.

Transcendence through Self-Forgiveness
by Simeon Chiron Nartoomid

Self-forgiveness is the very foundation of our higher-dimensional Temple of Love. We can think of self-forgiveness as learning to accept ourselves fully just as we are right here and now.

Self-forgiveness is the only forgiveness there is really. God-Spirit-Source never holds anything against us. Anything we may hold against others is really about what we hold against ourselves as well. Once we learn how to access who we really are at will -- our true essence -- we can then operate in an awareness that allows us to see the conditioning that leads to the need for forgiveness in the long run. If we can actualize this state of awareness often enough, then we can step increasingly out of the need for forgiveness altogether...

...A key point to understand on this journey of self-forgiveness is that the perfection we seek is not to be found in being without limitations or flaws so much as it is... ( read entire article )
