Undelivered Emails, Changing Email and Site Access for Paid Subscribers
Undelivered Email Announcements and Website Accessibility Information
The following information will help you to navigate possible and often unpredictable email issues. I am using a list server to send the Celestial Timings new postings announcements. There are several reasons why you might not receive the notice when it is sent. The following is helpful information about these issues.
These e-mail announcements are all being sent at the same time and the delivery rate of mass e-mails is rarely if ever 100%. This can happen for several reasons including servers timing out, spam filters (be sure to check your junk mail box and add the Celestial Timings email address to your friends list), full email boxes, and any number of other strange glitches. It has been my experience in sending mass emails that some of them simply do not get delivered and there is no way for me to know if you did not get the email.
That is why Paid subscribers receive the passwords for the next 12 months with their paid subscriptions ensuring access to the Celestial Timings even if the email announcement does not get delivered for any number of reasons already mentioned. It is very important that you SAVE you passwords. I recommend writing them on your calendar, or some other safe place, so you will always have them.
So, here are some suggestions to help with undelivered email:
First of all ISP's are different and you might not receive your email notification for up to 24 hours after it has been sent. If the email announcement does not arrive in your inbox by the 2 day of the month then be sure to check your spam filter first and if the email is not there then you may want to consider using an alternate email address.
Updating or Changing Email Address on the Paid Subscriber List
To update or change your email address on the paid Celestial Timings subscriber list please include the month you subscribed and if you subscribed through PayPal or by check as we have to search through our monthly lists to update your email on the proper list.
If you do not receive the email update…alerting you to the new Timings being posted you can always go directly to the subscribers box on the Celestial Timings website and enter the current month’s password that was sent to you when you subscribed. Trouble Accessing the Website?
If you are having trouble accessing the website wait a little while and try again. Sometimes the server will go down temporarily or there may be a lot of people trying to access the website at the same time. So far this has been a very rare situation but worth remembering if you have trouble accessing the site.
Current Timings NOT showing up?
If the current Month’s Timings are NOT showing up and what you are seeing is Last Month then be sure to refresh your browser. Not all browsers have the most updated information when you go to a website so refreshing the browser makes sure you have the latest posted information.
You can also set your browser to refresh every time you view a new page.

Internet Explorer 6.0 with SP1 or SP2:
1. From the Tools menu, select Internet Options.
2. Under Temporary Internet Files, select Settings.
3. Under Check for newer versions of stored pages, select Every visit to the page.
4. Select OK to close the dialog box.
Netscape Navigator:
To refresh a page at any time:
• Click the Reload button in the browser's Navigation Toolbar. The computer checks the network to make sure you have the latest version of the page.
Or you may press F5 or simply delete your cookies under Tools in your Internet Options selection.
